A small B&B close to the Lake. Trains run frequently along the track between the Hotel and the lake. There are about 38 rooms over 4 floors. The Hotel has a small ski room in the basement with boot warming racks and also in the basement is a, free to use, Sauna with shower and a relaxation area with complimentary towels, open 4:30-8:30pm each evening. There is no lift so not ideal for those less mobile. Rooms vary in size and occupancy. Room 32 on the top floor is very small Twin, with slimline beds and limited storage. OK for one person, but would be extremely small for 2. There is a TV in the room and there is a side view of the lake from the windows (no balcony). I slept with the windows open and the the noise from the trains didn’t wake me. The bathroom was spotlessly clean (March 2023) and the shower was quite powerful with shower gel provided. Tissues, loo roll, Liquid soap and towels are also provided (1 bath & 1 Hand/Face. For guests staying Saturday - Saturday, towels are changed once per week on Wednesdays. There is a charge of you require a more frequent change. Rooms are cleaned & beds made, most days. Breakfast, served 07:30-09:30, is a typical selection of meats and cheese slices, soft cheese triangles, eggs (alternating hard boiled & scrambled), tomatoes & cucumber. There is a variety of breads available (with toaster) cereals, milk, juice, yoghurt, Oranges & Apples, Jam and chocolate spread. You can make your own Waffles and there area variety Tea’s and a coffee machine (free, ignore the charge sign at breakfast). Room vacation on day of departure is 10:00am.

Bel Etablissement, mais… Nous avons été globalement satisfaits de notre séjour, cependant sommes assez déçus. Si le personnel est irréprochable, tout comme pour la restauration, il y eut des oublis anormaux de la femme de chambre (tasses à café utilisées non changées, café non réapprovisionné, manque de gel douche. Tous ces détails ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un 4*S. Mais avant tout, l’absence aussi de climatisation dans une chambre d’un n’est en aucun cas acceptable ! Enfin et aussi, il irresponsable d’octroyer à des clients une chambre jouxtant, celle d’autre personnes dont le mode de vie est totalement différent, cela en toute connaissance de cause, créant ainsi de gros soucis. Nous n’avons pu dormir avant 2 heures du matin, des ordures jonchant les couloirs, et leurs restes de repas ! La localisation de la chambre louée n’est aussi pas clairement identifiée, de sorte que le client peut comme nous-mêmes peut se retrouver dans le bâtiment du ******, en pensant avoir une chambre dans le bâtiment principal historique. Pas gênant en soit, mais désagréable. C’est très dommage, mais le « S » est de facto, vraiment de trop.

Excellent choix! Très propre, gentilment personnel, bon petit déjeuner, 100 m de la gare d'autobus pour ski, parking gratuit et sécurisé. Je pense que l'heure d'été est super aussi. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine pour sûr. Ciprian.
