Super stay at this traditional onsen inn! It’s an easy 5 minutes walk from the tram stop and it is a peaceful and hospitable place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included (you have it in your room, the staff come to roll up your tatami 30 mins before - we just went to the onsen during this time) which was traditional Japanese style and delicious. The onsens are not too big but there are outdoor and indoor sections and perfectly adequate. The staff look after you warmly and we loved our experience of traditional Japanese culture here. Oh, and it’s near the Botanical Gardens where we saw monkeys bathing in the onsen.

La pièce n'est pas petite, deux grandes et deux petites ne posent aucun problème. Le tatami n'est pas petit, il y a une salle de bain et des toilettes indépendantes, et vous pouvez également utiliser la grande baignoire. Le service est très bon. Il est le plus proche de la sortie 34 du métro. Il y a le marché Nijo, la tour Sapporo et Tanukikoji. à moins de dix minutes à pied. La seule chose est le repas fixe tous les matins. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est composé uniquement de riz au curry. Il devrait y avoir un repas sous forme de buffet, mais cela nécessite un prix séparé.

hôtel beau avec un spa et une sauna de l'onsen. Cependant, il est à 15-min à pied de la gare et le service de navette est limité. Beaucoup de mariages et de visites royales à ce resort. La chambre double est spacieuse et confortable. La distance de marche vers la chaîne alimentaire rapide M à côté de la porte et Aeon shopping près.

We had a wonderful stay at Protom International Hokkaido, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
The hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Junior Twin Suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were so happy when we entered the room — it felt bright, modern, and very relaxing, especially after a long day of travel.
What touched us the most was the kindness of the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, warm, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed, not just as guests, but like friends.
We are very grateful for the upgrade and the wonderful service. This stay made our Hokkaido trip even more special. We will definitely choose Protom International Hokkaido again next time.

J'ai séjourné dans le bâtiment Est ; il était propre et bien rangé, mais la vue depuis les fenêtres était assez limitée. Le principal atout de l'hôtel était son excellent onsen (source thermale), une expérience à ne pas manquer. J'avais réservé une formule avec petit-déjeuner ; honnêtement, il était correct, sans plus, mais copieux. L'accès à l'hôtel est très pratique : il est situé juste à côté de la gare JR de Noboribetsu, il suffit de prendre le bus et d'arriver tôt pour faire la queue. À quelques pas à droite de la sortie de l'hôtel se trouve le site touristique de Jigokudani (la Vallée de l'Enfer), idéal pour une promenade. À gauche de l'hôtel se trouve une rue commerçante avec deux supermarchés, dont l'un fait office de supérette où l'on peut acheter des en-cas et des boissons. On trouve également plusieurs restaurants, il n'est donc pas indispensable de réserver un dîner à l'hôtel. En résumé, Noboribetsu est une destination qui mérite vraiment le détour.

Très satisfait. Je ne sais pas si elle a été surclassée, mais j'ai été affectée au 14ème étage, l'étage le plus élevé. La pièce est très grande, l'agencement est très bon, le dynamique et le statique sont séparés, et le sec et l'humide sont séparés. . Propre et bien rangé, le petit déjeuner est copieux. En face de l'hôtel se trouve le parc Odori, très animé le week-end. Il se trouve à environ 20 minutes à pied de la gare de Sapporo.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Shikanoyu! The room was spacious and comfortable, which made for a very relaxing experience. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of delicious options – definitely a highlight of the stay.
The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I also appreciated the large car park, which made parking hassle-free.
The only minor downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the main shopping and restaurant areas, so you’ll need to drive or plan ahead for meals and shopping. That said, the peaceful surroundings actually added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, I really liked this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers visiting Hakodate! convenient location - easy to get around, with a short walk to the tram station. The tram connects you to many popular attractions around the city. Plus, the airport transfer bus stop is just a stone's throw away, with affordable fares to New Chitose Airport (13,000 yen). We also discovered a lovely 2nd-generation ice cream parlor right opposite the bus stop! The hotel's breakfast was impressive and delicious. Overall, the hotel offers great value for its price. We had a family room with excellent view for sunrise 🌅.

JJesscacaAbout 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.

LLern ChongWe faced major comfort problems unique to this establishment. Having stayed in six different hotels during our trip, this was the only one that presented these issues.
The primary problem was the temperature control. Despite setting the room to a cool 18^{\circ}\text{C}, the room remained stiflingly hot. Staff explained that the system was set to heat for the winter, leaving guests without adequate cooling control. We were forced to request a standing fan just to achieve a bearable sleeping environment.
Furthermore, we both experienced significant itchiness while sleeping on the bed. This is unacceptable and suggests a concerning issue with the bedding or mattress hygiene

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity.
Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence.
Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled.
Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze.
As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional.
The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship.
Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight.
For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

The check in staff lacks common sense as he gave me a map in Japanese even though there’s an English version as I clearly don’t speak Japanese. Bien qu'il ne soit qu'à environ 300 mètres de la gare routière d'Uden-ro Onsen, il est difficile de marcher avec un gros sac dans la neige, et Google Maps est mal situé. En réalité, des arrêts pour le centre naturel, l'aéroport et la gare JR se trouvent juste devant l'hôtel.
2. Situation : Proche de la mer, mais séparé par la jetée, pas vraiment en bord de mer. Des montagnes s'étendent de part et d'autre ; la chambre avec vue sur la mer offre peu de vue sur le lever et le coucher du soleil. Les bains du huitième étage, situés à l'ouest, sont visibles, mais peu adaptés aux photos. Comparé aux hôtels Kiki et Shiretoko No. 1 situés en montagne, la visibilité de cet hôtel est médiocre.
3. Équipements : Bonnes installations, prix correct. Les bains sont petits, l'expérience est acceptable pour les personnes peu nombreuses, mais jugée moins satisfaisante par les personnes plus nombreuses. Salle de sport et salon confortables.
4. Repas : Petits déjeuners variés, manque d'œufs et de fromage chauds, petit four, peu de places assises près des fenêtres. Le menu habituel est fraîchement préparé, mais la quantité est insuffisante et les ingrédients sont ordinaires. Heureusement, vous pouvez acheter des boules de glace à la pâtisserie à l'entrée. Le café maison est délicieux et abordable.
5. Service : Basique, aucun service, expérience médiocre.
En bref, si vous n'y avez jamais vécu, vous pouvez essayer. Si vous y avez vécu, je n'y retournerai probablement pas.

Located just a pleasant 20-minute drive from Otaru Station, the hotel is nestled in a tranquil, private area that feels like stepping into a captivating wonderland. I was delighted to discover a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it effortlessly convenient to explore the surroundings.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly by name, and they were incredibly helpful with our luggage. Taking off our shoes upon entering the hotel created a feeling of comfort and cleanliness that made us feel right at home. After a smooth check-in process, during which they confirmed our breakfast time, the staff graciously guided us through the hotel, sharing helpful information about opening hours for various amenities.
Our room was beautifully adorned in traditional Japanese style, complete with an open-air bath. Enjoying this serene experience during the winter was simply magical! We also savored a delectable Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was not only a feast for our taste buds but also left us delightfully satisfied.
The onsens were a real highlight, featuring an adjacent sauna. With daily alternating access for women and men every other day, we were able to enjoy both during our stay. Families will find this hotel exceptionally accommodating, thanks to its variety of playrooms and relaxation spaces catering to guests of all ages. Plus, the complimentary refreshments and bar in the lobby until 10 PM added a lovely touch to our experience.
Breakfast was a true delight, with a peaceful view of the snow outside the restaurant, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
On our departure day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the JR station, making our exit seamless and convenient.
Looking back, our only regret is that we stayed just one night—I can't wait to return and immerse myself in a different season's beauty. This hotel is now firmly on my list for future visits, and I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!

UUtilisateur anonymeBeautiful high end ryokan in the center of Noboribetsu. Our room was very large and spotless-it was the size of an apartment with multiple seating and eating areas! The best part was the in-room hot spring bath tub, which we booked and was worth every penny. We highly, highly recommend this! Had an absolutely relaxing stay at this top notch onsen! In the public areas, there were 5 different hot spring pools for the women and four for the men. Each had different temperature settings and different qualities. There were many at the ryokan but the pools were never crowded. It was peaceful and serene sitting outside in the pools.
There were many guests at the hotel as it was peak summer season, but the property was very large and spacious, beautifully decorated and laid out that it never felt crowded.
Excellent customer service and delicious kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast with a buffet table. Would go back for another visit if we are in the area again! Highly recommend this ryokan-you will not be disappointed!
