« We enjoyed our stay, as there are a lot of amenities to be found here. Two very large room for a family of 4, a dining table, and a large living room. Love the private toilet in the master bedroom. A lot of choices to be found at breakfast. Very good egg. Nasi lemak was mid, weird sambal taste. Good dessert. Kelapa jelly was my favourite. Love the infinity swimming pool. But unlucky for us that we came during haze season so we couldn’t really see the beautiful ocean from the pool. But all good. We had fun. Thanks so much for a good stay. Cons: We had to take the trolley by ourselves. And just when we finished putting our bags on the trolley, the staff came and picked it up. It just feels weird that we had to do all that by ourselves. « I was quite disappointed with my stay. When I made the booking, I specifically requested a room with a window, but I was given a room without one. The standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. At 12:02 PM, I received a call from the reception reminding me to check out. When I went down to the front desk, the first thing they did was hand me my deposit back. Honestly, it made me feel as though I was being rushed out or asked to leave, even though I was only two minutes past the check-out time. I hope the management will improve their customer service and treat guests with a little more courtesy and understanding. »

« Disappointing experience – facilities and room maintenance need improvement The Grand Ion Majestic development is quite impressive in size, comprising M1 (Wyndham Ion Majestic Hotel) and M2 & M3 (1001 Nights Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham). We booked mainly because of the attractive images and TikTok videos showing the high-floor views, floating clouds and the many facilities available within the development. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to our expectations. We were particularly looking forward to the floating-cloud views. However, during our stay, these views were apparently only available from the higher floors, around the 30th floor and above. At check-in, we were also informed that there was an additional RM50 charge for our higher-floor request, which we paid. We stayed in M1 Tower, and this is where things became very confusing. The lifts in M1 display facilities located not only in M1, but also facilities in M2 and M3. However, many of these facilities are not directly accessible from M1. We, along with several other guests, spent quite some time trying to locate these facilities, only to eventually be told that they were in the other towers and required us to go back down to the lobby and walk across to another tower. For example, Hard Rock Cafe is in M3, while some of the other advertised paid attractions such as Hoverland and the Sky Walk are in the other towers. This arrangement is not clearly explained, and the information displayed in the M1 lifts is therefore quite misleading. It would be much better if the hotel clearly indicated which tower each facility is located in and whether it is accessible directly from M1. There were also several maintenance issues in our room. The room telephone was not working when we checked in. The TV cable was unplugged, and we had to call maintenance when the TV was not functioning properly. The shower dispenser holder was loose and kept dislocating. The balcony air-conditioning vent door could not be properly secured because the latch was jammed. During strong winds, the door kept banging, and we could also hear similar noise from neighbouring units. The balcony itself had a nice view, but unfortunately there was no balcony furniture, so we could not sit outside and enjoy the view with a coffee. This was a missed opportunity, particularly for a hotel that promotes its high-altitude views as one of its main attractions. We also tried the food at Cloof Café & Bar, but unfortunately found it bland and lacking in flavour. Overall, the property looks impressive and has a lot of potential, but the actual experience did not match what we expected from the promotional material. The confusing layout between M1, M2 and M3, the lack of clear information about the facilities, the additional charges for higher floors, the room maintenance issues and the disappointing food all contributed to an underwhelming stay. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not return to this property or recommend it to others. . »

« Avantages L'hôtel est idéal pour les familles. Nous avons réservé la chambre six car la chambre quadruple a été évaluée par d'autres clients comme étant loin du hall. Notre chambre six était juste au-dessus du hall au niveau 2. L'espace était suffisant pour notre famille de 5 personnes avec un enfant en bas âge et nous avions une chambre communicante. Notre chambre avait un lit superposé. Donc au total, il y avait 3 grands lits. 2 lits en bas et 1 sur le lit superposé. En ce qui concerne l'emplacement, c'est très pratique car les parcs à thème, les restaurants et le supermarché se trouvent juste en face de l'hôtel. Il y a aussi une petite aire de jeux pour les enfants à la réception du hall. Les inconvénients La salle de bain dispose d'une cabine séparée pour toilettes et douche. Mais la salle de bain n'a pas de porte ! Vous devrez vous changer dans la cabine de douche. Je n'ai jamais séjourné dans un hôtel où la salle de bain n'a pas de porte, donc si vous séjournez avec un grand groupe, soyez prêt ? La chambre n'a pas de ventilateur mais il fait froid dehors, donc ce n'est pas un problème pour nous pendant notre séjour. L'emplacement du buffet du petit-déjeuner n'est pas dans l'hôtel. Il se trouve dans les locaux du parc à thème couvert, vous devez donc marcher 10 à 15 minutes pour le petit-déjeuner. Sinon super séjour pour les familles et prix raisonnable aussi si vous partagez. »

« I had a very pleasant stay at Shahzan Kuantan. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the beach, local attractions, and many restaurants, making it very convenient for both leisure and business travellers. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a good variety of delicious local and international dishes, and the overall facilities were well kept. The hotel’s warm hospitality and comfortable environment made my stay relaxing and memorable. I would definitely recommend Shahzan Kuantan to anyone visiting Kuantan and would be happy to stay here again in the future. »
