I recently stayed at Protea Hotel Cairo Road in Lusaka, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is very central—right in the middle of town—which made it easy for me to move around for meetings and quick errands. If you’re doing business in Lusaka, it’s quite a convenient spot. The staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was smooth, and they were helpful whenever I needed something. The room was clean and had all the basics I needed—comfortable bed, working air conditioning, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The restaurant was decent. I had breakfast there, and the food was fresh and enough to start the day. The rooms facing the roadside gets noisy sometimes because of the traffic. One thing to note: the hotel doesn’t have a pool, so if you’re looking for those facilities, this might not be the right place. But for a short business stay, it served me well. Overall, I’d say Protea Cairo Road is a solid, practical choice if you need to stay in Lusaka’s city center. Clean, safe, and efficient. NB : In the photos it seems a bit messy as i took the photo before checkout but they are very clean and neat rooms.

Самое лучшее в этой гостинице - расположение. Буквально за забором парламента. Что означает относительное спокойствие, ночную тишину и круглосуточную безопасность. Просторная зелёная территория с бассейном - романтичное место для завтраков, работы или просто ничегонеделания. Гостевые номера не самые выдающиеся, но с набором всего необходимого в наше время, правда, без туалетных принадлежностей. Два рулона бумаги - максимальное украшение ванной комнаты. Зато есть холодильник, телевизор, шкаф, стол, тумбочка. Живи и наслаждайся, если тебя не пугают периодические отключения света, воды, интернета (непродолжительные, как правило). Но на то она и Африка.

Le service est amiable, la situation est confortable, le cadre est général et le petit déjeuner était bon.

Nice hotel, clean and staffs are so kind and polite, Wifi is very slow, frequently disconnected, coild not do work on laptop, front desk service are not as expected, I called many times from room but no one picked up my call, breakfast is halal and veriety of options.

The hotel is par excellence and its unfortunate didn’t spend much time there to explore other facilities due to a 9 hour delay of the flight. However from arrival into the hotel the reception was amazing as I had all my luggage carried to my room . The room exceeded my expectations, spacious and the antique furniture is good.The bathroom has both the shower and tub and very clean.The dining area is clean and I enjoyed the food.

일주일동안 머물렀습니다. East park mall 가까이 있어서 주변에 좋은 식당이 많습니다. 독특한 컨테이너 구조에 멋진 호텔입니다. 구조적 특성상 층간 울림은 조금 있지만 신경쓰일 정도는 아닙니다.

Les chambres sont belles. Mais encore une fois, refusé de rembourser un check-out plus tôt. Perdu deux nuits de séjour pour deux chambres, même si nous avions notifié l'hôtel les jours précédents. Nous n'avions pas l'intention de payer une pénalité pour rendre le séjour plus court, mais cela n'était jamais une option. Ils ont rejeté notre demande de remboursement. Sinon, l'hôtel est agréable et mes clients aiment rester là.
