This hotel met all our needs for the 3 night trip to Hobart. I would stay here again. It's centrally located to many things in town. The staff we met were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

The hotel is very green, which fits with Tasmania's overall conservation ethis - which is great. It is a very comfortable and new hotel. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable and luxurious. The restaurant/ room service food was delicious and well priced. The room was very clean and well serviced . The bathroom had a walk-in shower with both rain and normal shower heads. The gym and pool area was excellent and clean. The only downsides that I would mention was the variance in staff..some were really amazing and so friendly and helpful, but there were one or two on the front desk who barely smiled and didn't make any effort to welcome guests. However, the doorman, head concierge, and supervisor were amazing and very professional. Also, the location is a fair way from Salamanca and the Harbour. It's not too bad, but if you have psychical limitations, it's something to consider. Also, it is a fair walk to get to restaurants. The rooms are quiet, but if you have someone in the next room, the soundproofing isn't that good, so you can hear other people. Overall, for a capital city, this is a value for money luxurious place to stay when in Hobart.

Best Western Launceston is a basic, but clean, safe, comfortable well-priced hotel in the centre of Launceston. It's well positioned for the Botanic Gardens and monkey enclosure, right in the centre of the city, and not too far from the river. The room had everything you'd need, or expect, for this price. But what raised the place for me was the service. On a badly delayed flight I didn't arrive until after midnight, but the night manger appeared swiftly, helped me check in, and never once complained about being dragged to the front desk in the middle of the night.

There is not a lot of choice when looking for a place to stay in Devonport - so our key criteria was being within walking distance of the town centre and having free on-site car parking. First impressions of the hotel when we walked in was that it was very dated and in need of a major renovation - there were obviously some areas which had been refurbished such as the front reception but most of the areas need a significant overhaul. Our room was downstairs on the ground floor and walking down the stairs it felt like we were going down to the basement - the carpets needed replacement and the walls repainting. The room itself, a family room was very spacious for just two people - had plenty of storage space, decent work desk, large key sized bed, decent working a/c, though the Wi-Fi was slow with limited bandwidth. Even though the decor in the room was tired and worn, the bathroom had been refurbished the bed was relatively new (nice plush mattress and clean bed linen). The room overlooked the rear car parking area, which meant I could keep a check on the car, not that I was expecting a view given the relatively cheap room rate ($110/night as opposed to $176/night). The room however was relatively dark, with only a single window. We took advantage of the QR code room service for our breakfast option, due to its connivence - the food was alright (not amazing) and on occasions was cold/warm rather than hot. The timing of housekeeping was a bit erratic, as sometimes when we arrived back after lunch it still hadn't been done and other times it was done as soon as we left in the morning. Resupplies to the room by housekeeping was also inconsistent, sometimes we had hand towels and bathmats replaced other times we were left without. Same with tissues and water bottles. The rear car parking area had CCTV cameras, so I was comfortable with the surveillance/security however if you got back later in the evening there wasn't a lot of vacant bays, and we were there when the hotel was relatively quiet - I could imagine parking would be at a premium when it is busy. You do get a fair bit of noise in the morning from the trucks offloading liquor to the bottle shop (reversing beepers/crashing of bottles etc) The laundry and the gym area were really hammered and had obviously see better days - though the gym did have clean towels and fresh water bottles, when I could access it. There is only one washing machine and one clothes dryer - so you need to closely watch when other people's loads finish as otherwise you could be up half the night doing your laundry. In summary don't hold any high expectations about the Gateway Hotel, it is what it describes itself as - a centrally located 3 star hotel.

We booked last minute after arriving at a different hotel and deciding not to stay the night and were greeted warmly by reception here despite the late hour. We were even given complimentary drink vouchers for our Honeymoon and had a very good nights sleep. We will definitely be staying at the Vibe again on our next trip down to Hobart.

This is an older motel that has been renovated and now calls itself a hotel. Launceston is very hilly with some hills quite steep. This hotel was towards the top of one of these steep hills. There are three wings with carparking inbetween each wing. The wing closest to the road has two levels. There is a lift between these levels but the other wings are higher than the top level of the front wing. So if you miss out on a parking spot and have to park on the road you could have to lug your luggage up the road, up a handful of steps to reception, into the lift then out of that front wing up more steps to a room in the rear wing. The driveway up from the road to parking in front of the rear wing is seriously steep. We were on the top level of the front wing nearest the roundabout. Didn't hear much road noise. The room was not decorated to my tastes. Large format concrete-look tiles on the floor and walls of the bathroom with a feature wall of glossy black tiles. There was a large step up to raised shower recess. Here there was a dip down to the water outlet. Not good for those with mobility and balance issues. King double bed was a bit soft for my liking. Silly hanging section in wardrobe. Rail ran front to back making it difficult to get coats and so on in and out. The lovely park over the road and close proximity to city centre are saving graces. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Un peu daté. Réservé par les hôtels Qantas et quelque peu a été mis à jour. ( Pas de chambre demandée disponible? ne sait pas.) La tête de douche de l'eau déluge est grande. Le lave-linge et les bouteilles de shampooing sont écrasées pour agir, ça ne semble pas simple? Matisse très confortable. Piloter une petite ferme pour moi mais j'ai eu le choix de 5! Vous obtenez une chaudière et c'est ça. Frige ouvre une façon, la porte de couvercle ouvre l'autre façon. Pas amicale. Mal de tasses. Pas de couteau ou de fourchette. Il fallait réserver quelques nuits la semaine prochaine mais il y avait une 50 extras par nuit. Je pensais que c'était un peu inutile pour un client retour réservant la même chambre. Nous avons eu deux nuits ventées et la porte glissante de la veuve rattling était suffisante pour vous garder réveillée. Il faut être dressé. Location à la ville. Excellent distance de marche.

Nous avons séjourné ici pendant trois nuits en explorant la zone autour de Hobart. Notre chambre avait deux lits, une petite table avec deux chaises et un canapé. A la porte, il y a une petite cuisine : extra baignoire (!), micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, cuisson et toast. Il y avait aussi des cuisinières et des plaques pour préparer nos dîners à micro-ondes. La salle de bains était petite mais bien faite, beaucoup de chambre pour garder les toilettes. Il y a aussi une ligne pour pendre des vêtements - une idée superbe! Tout était propre et semblait être nouveau. Il y avait toujours un parking pour nous et nous avons dormi bien. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et il était un grand endroit pour se débarrasser pour la nuit après un jour plein de vues.

As one would expect, great staff and service, easy access - and laid back and an inviting/friendly atmosphere compared to a few others I have visited. Been twice now after getting a great room rate and well worth the stay with some great views (room location dependant). Great choice of both casual inexpensive meals at the Boardwalk Bistro and the more upper class eateries. Great amenities in one location. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in the Tower Bay View Suite at Wrest Point Tower Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention by the hotel staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The suite itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a significant factor when traveling with kids. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the unrestricted bay view from our suite. It was absolutely breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The kids were enthralled by the view, and it added an extra layer of magic to our vacation. In conclusion, our stay at Wrest Point Tower Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the stunning view, immaculate suite, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the area.

L'hôtel est idéal pour un séjour à Hobart. À quelques pas de toutes les attractions principales et de la CBD. Hobart est une belle ville pour explorer à pied. A proximité de la cathédrale et du parc de Saint-David, zone de Salamanca, front d'eau, point de batterie, point de départ pour le ferry à MONE. La chambre d'hôtel était compacte mais fonctionnelle, très propre, plein d'espace de couvercle. Malheureusement, pas de temps pour utiliser la piscine, mais semble très invitant. Cena en 2 nuits à l'hôtel Restaurant - M. Good Guy. Délicieux repas. Personnel très ami, surtout quand je voyageais seul. Le personnel de la réception était très accueillant et utile. Globalement, un séjour le plus reposable et agréable merci.

It’s is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. Environment was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time walked in the door.

From the time we pulled into the car park to the moment of exiting the whole experience at the hotel was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms with good quality amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed and exceptionally clean. Highly recommended and Would not hesitate to stay again.

Nous avons séjourné ici en famille de cinq dans une chambre familiale avec suite privée. Nous avons vérifié 15 minutes de plus tôt, mais la dame était heureuse de nous donner les clés de la chambre. L'hébergement est situé en haut d'un pub/pokies. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, vous devez marcher deux pistes et transporter vos bagages. Il y avait une suite privée qui séparait la chambre de lit que vous avez été parfaite pour mes parents. La chambre était propre et les larges fenêtres autour de la chambre ont fait une bonne vue de l'extérieur de laquelle mon fils pouvait regarder. L'hôtel se trouve à quelques pas de la place des courses, des restaurants, un KFC, des Jacks Hungery, Coles et Woolworths. Le seul problème était que notre chambre était située sur une route principale occupée et que la nuit vous pouviez entendre tout le trafic passer par, nous n'avons pas dormi de bonne nuit. Nous avons également réservé via booking.com deux boissons gratuites de bienvenue pour deux clients à l'arrivée mais nous n'avons pas reçu cela.

La cuisine était propre si un peu petite alors que la salle commune/comme de manger était plus spacieuse. La salle de bain commune était propre quand j'ai visité, mais je pouvais imaginer qu'elle deviendrait assez grunge. Toiles fournies mais pas de savon (ou de shampooing, etc.).

Les chambres sont très confortables avec de grandes zones autour des lits avec une chambre à déplacer et à mettre des pièces et les salles de bains étaient très propres et modernes. Le personnel était toujours utile et amiable et l'hôtel était très bien situé à quelques pas du centre-ville.

2 night stay - Location just out of the CBD. Multiple cafes / restaurants around the area if not wishing to eat at the hotel. Appreciated free parking close to entrance of hotel. Large room on the 2nd floor, and spacious bathroom. Very clean. Had delicious breakfast for both days (bacon & eggs, and eggs benedict - both which come with a coffee or juice) - staff in the restaurant are superb, very friendly and professional. I cannot remember our server's name but started with a 'K'. Our room had a small balcony, but didn't sit out there due to the cooler weather of late April. Two small maintenance issues (TV remote and blind chain) were advised shortly after check in and again when we left - our stay was over the weekend.

We arrived at the Leisure Inn Penny Royal Hotel and Appartments and was welcomed so warmly by the lady in reception. She was friendly, courteous and so warm in her dealings with us. Our room was ready even though we arrived an hour early. The building is charming , full of character. Our room was old but spotless and full of charm. Just beautiful. The only downside is we are only spending 1 night here and would definitely stay again.

Very minimal, shabby rooms of doubtful cleanliness, at maximal expense. Explicitly states that no service is offered, so to that extent at least the management is honest! But if you are staying two nights or more, you only get one night's worth of tea/coffee/milk/towels etc, even though you are paying for these items in the room charge. We had booked and paid for two rooms, but when I arrived the receptionist rudely said I could not check in 'because I did not have the same name as the person who booked', and I would jolly well have to wait until the person who booked arrived. (Actually, the person who booked was my daughter-in-law.) This is an extremely rude, discriminatory, and just plain stupid thing to say. For example, a husband and wife could have different names, and arrive separately. Also, I arrived at 3 pm, but what if my daughter-in-law arrived at 10 pm? The polite thing to do would be for the receptionist simply to ask if she could have a word with my daughter-in-law on the phone, or see a text message. Another point: the rudest, most aggressive utterance in the 'hospitality' industry is 'Can I help you?' spoken loudly through gritted teeth and rictus smile. The receptionist really ought to book a course at charm school. If - despite all - you are thinking of staying here, keep in mind that it is a very steep, long walk down to the city centre - and back up. The Coach House is not suitable for children, as the upper storey concrete walkways and steps are extremely dangerous for toddlers.

Hotel was nice. Beware the car parking though. We booked direct, upon checkin we were given the option of valet parking onsite for $25 or $10 in a council car park 100m up the road. We chose the council car park and had nothing but trouble getting in or out! A big shout out to Stephanie (FOM) for her help but from someone who previously worked in hospitality for 20+ years our $10 charge should have been waived. Dinner in the restaurant was ok, took forever for meals to arrive and they didn’t come in the order requested. Breakfast ok but not much choice.

Le lit était confortable et l'en suite était lumineuse et agréable avec beaucoup d'eau chaude. A la maison de l'hôtel, le restaurant est très bon, le centre Pokies est proche des magasins et pas loin des supermarchés. Je recommande très fortement l'hôtel Formby et j'attends avec impatience de rester là encore.

La belle maison est entièrement équipée avec tout ce que vous avez besoin dans la cuisine. Ils fournissent également une vélo pour se déplacer pour profiter des vues merveilleuses. Il y a aussi des chevaux, des abeilles pour visiter votre maison. La nuit vous pouvez voir des bébés cangarous. Nous avons eu un moment merveilleux.

Il y a quelques jours, mon partenaire et moi avons séjourné ici dans un appartement d'étude royale et il était absolument fantastique .C'est l'une des meilleures chambres que nous ayons jamais séjournés .Mes meubles agréables et un lit super confortable tout très nouveau.Nous avons eu un pont devant avec dehors Il y a un petit déjeuner et un déjeuner. Bien que nous avons utilisé les installations de l' appartement pour cuisiner notre propre nourriture , a eu un café et un gâteau bien que ce qui était bon .

A beautiful experience had! Elegant home, decorated and furnished with antiques throughout. Rooms warm and invited, again beautifully furnished with antiques. A very comfortable bed, sleeping soundly. Un grand veranda relaxant offrant un endroit tranquille pour vous asseoir, avoir un verre et profiter de la vue toute la journée! Grand emplacement, facilement à pied court au centre ville. Délicieux petit déjeuner inclus. Très recommandé!!

Dans le motel, vous pouvez vous garer devant la porte de votre chambre. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est plus facile à trouver. Repérez un petit bar, entrez et demandez à vous enregistrer. C'est bien si vous voulez boire deux verres. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, les rideaux étaient des stores et le soleil sortait assez clair. Le motel est généralement insonorisé et il peut être un peu bruyant d'entendre les voitures des autres clients s'approcher au milieu de la nuit. Surtout, le prix est bon marché.
