Nous avons eu un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel et nous sommes très impressionnés par le service et l'expérience générale.

La chambre est propre et spacieuse. L'hôtel se trouve dans le même immeuble que le Marché de l'Ouest, à quelques pas du Marché Flottant, du Parc du Peuple et du célèbre mur Instagrammable. De nombreux centres commerciaux et restaurants sont à proximité. La station de taxis est juste en bas de l'immeuble. L'aéroport et la gare TGV de Yanji Ouest sont facilement accessibles.

Value for money. Big and spacious rooms. Comfortable beddings and showers. Located directly opposite, 200m away from Exit A of Ren Ming Guang Chang subway station. Although the furnishings are slightly depleted, the rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in.
The staff are also responsive and quick to resolve our room's problem.

Well centralised hotel with malls ard it that are of walkable distance.
Hotel even prepared dumplings for us to celebrate the dong zhi festival
They also set up a small cute decoration with free cake to celebrate our anniversary
Helpful and friendly staffs such as Long Cui and housekeeper that kept our room tidy daily

I remember this place being guarded by armed soldiers back in the days when I grew up in Changchun. It hosted many top officials from China and many other countries. It was a surprise to see it open to the public now. We had a great experience staying there. This compound is unique in that it sits on a large piece of land with lakes, walking paths and bridges. This hotel is old but beautifully maintained over the years. It is quiet at night, a nice change from the busy city. The breakfast buffet doesn't have many Western options, but very good regardless. Friendly staff.

A nice and comfortable stay at this small hotel. The amenities are new and well maintained. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. There is a good and free coffee machine serving Americano coffee for guests at the lobby. The location is convenient for seeing Yanji. The English name of the hotel should be Jin Kai Yue Hotel.

Le double Tree Hilton est un hôtel incroyable avec service professionnel à partir des personnels du sol.
Breakfast buffet et dîner au ”LUSH” TUDIE-DIA.
La biscuite de signature double est toujours notre préférée et merci pour le Valcano gratuit et pour le retour et le départ gratuits aux activités de ski.
Restera certainement ici pour nos prochaines visites

Le service de l'hôtel est vraiment inévitable, tous les membres du personnel sont particulièrement attentifs et très attentifs. Ils envoient des fruits frais différents chaque jour, des pommes de terre et des petits pommes de terre, et ils ont aussi l'initiative de faire passer de l'eau à la chambre, les détails sont remplis. La position est dépassée, le centre de la ville, juste au côté du marché occidental, à 100 mètres de marche, le bébé est super pratique de voyager. L'espace est très grand, il vit très largement, le seul petit défaut est que les installations sont un peu vieilles, mais pas totalement affectées par l'expérience de séjour, le rapport coût-efficacité global est super élevé, pour yangji doit vivre!

IInvitéThe staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory.
If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff.
Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

IInvitéWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream:
✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance
✔️ Hot springs inside the compound
✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development
Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴
Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course.
The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building.
In winter.
On ice.
With wind that slaps.
Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up.
To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾
Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc.
The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸
Then there’s the hot spring schedule.

⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly.
Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus.
At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for.
It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs.
Trip.com, if you’re listening:
no guest should ever be pressured to review.
The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative.
This old dog is an independent reviewer.
I don’t bark on command.
I don’t roll over for stars.
And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle.
Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers.
Just come prepared with:
• good boots
• strong knees
• emotional resilience
• and the confidence to say, “I will rate when I’m ready.”

La réception Jiayi est enthousiaste et patiente pour faire un séjour très rapide, il y a beaucoup de types de petit déjeuner, il y a beaucoup de confort, je vivrai ici la prochaine fois!

WweeksertEnvironnement : Les activités proposées par le complexe sont parfaitement adaptées aux séjours en famille.
Service : Le majordome Xiaohui a été aux petits soins, prenant en charge nos bagages jusqu'à notre chambre et nous aidant pour toutes les formalités d'arrivée, ce qui nous a grandement facilité la tâche.
Propreté : La chambre était propre et confortable. Un chauffage un peu plus puissant serait appréciable, car il peut faire frais la nuit.
Restauration : Xiaohui nous a conseillé d'essayer le buffet de fondue chinoise et la cuisine du nord-est de la Chine au restaurant Caiyuexuan. Les deux étaient délicieux et le service impeccable.
Ce séjour a été un peu court, mais je choisirais sans hésiter l'hôtel Sheraton pour mon prochain séjour au ski.

IInvitéHotel service was excellent, as they went above and beyond to help us during our stay. They helped arrange transport and sight seeing activities - the couple who manage the place in particular were super friendly. Its well located near the entry of Changbaishan Scenic Park gate. They are quite close to Tiger Mountain ski resort, which is can cater for skiers from beginners to more advanced. There is a hot spring in the hotel and our package included breakfast and dinner,which was good. It has been renovated in last year or so.

LLuobinI'm a british traveller with a Chinese wife. I'm mostly located in China and I speak the language.
Hunchun is near to Russia and most of the guests were Russian.
Some of the staff can speak a few words of Russian but not much. And no English!
The Hotel itself is modern, clean and very technically equipped.
The toilet seat is heated, and it flushes itself. The shower took a bit of working out, but once I had mastered it, it was possibly the best shower I'd had in years.
The shower is partitioned from the rest of the toilet, which isn't always the case in China.
There's an AI person who greets you in Chinese when you enter, but we couldn't work out what the purpose of this was. It didn't understand English and my wife couldn't get a lot of sense out of it in Chinese.
But everything else worked, including the curtains which opened and closed remotely.
The TV was large and of an excellent quality. The bed was firm, but not hard like some Chinese beds can be, and we slept very comfortably.
The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My wife and I are diabetic, so we avoid sweet things.
Although there was plenty of meat, vegetables and eggs to keep us going for the day, there was only sweetened coffee, sweetened milk tea and I think sweetened soy milk, in the drinks machine.
We managed to get plain hot water out of the machine, but there was only paper cups provided, which was a disappointment considering the price we'd paid and the excellent standard of everything else.
I would suggest a coffee machine and milk available at breakfast, and maybe a hot water urn and some tea bags.
And some proper cups!
I think a place of such good quality deserves a bit more of a variety of food. It was OK, but not great. Disappointing.
For people on a low budget (like we were) one should bear in mind that the location isn't very central and it's a bus ride and a 25 minute walk, from the high speed rail station.
Taxis are not very expensive but we don't have much money so we got local buses which are not very frequent.
So I consider the location to be the most disappointing aspect of this hotel.
Everything else was either fine, or excellent.
We would definitely consider going there again in the future.
It was also the only hotel that has allowed us the late checkout which I've been promised by Trip.com.

YYaqijingyuTrès adapté à l'hôtel pour les parents et les enfants, en particulier un quatre coins, il est vraiment difficile de trouver le type de chambre qui convient. Deux lits ＋ sont hauts et bas, les enfants aiment très bien. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas beaucoup, mais c'est vraiment très bon. La clé est dans la saison d'automne du Festival de Printemps, avec des billets de neige et d'autres intérêts, un quatre coins, je me sens toujours très rentable! Bien que l'hôtel n'est pas plus grand que l'hôtel Star, le service est vraiment très bon. Il y a une nécessité, et il est particulièrement délicat. Bien que un peu loin du centre, il y a beaucoup de trajets.
