Excellent emplacement…près de la plage, à 10-15 minutes à pied de la gare et à 5-10 minutes à pied des magasins d'alimentation. La chambre que nous avions était d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix, j'ai payé pour une chambre double standard et j'ai eu une chambre familiale ! Le personnel est sympathique et raisonnablement serviable, nous avons demandé quelques bols de céréales et cuillères à emporter avec nous un soir, mais nous ne sommes repartis qu'avec un bol et pas de cuillères mdr… aucune explication pourquoi !! Dans l’ensemble, c’est le meilleur hôtel bon marché dans lequel nous avons séjourné à Bournemouth.

Séjour agréable à Hampton. Super personnel, sympathique. Bon petit déjeuner avec des stations chaudes. Chambres propres. À quelques pas du centre international de Bournemouth. L'emplacement est sur une colline, il faut donc grimper quotidiennement. J'envisagerais certainement de revenir ici.

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. I book this hotel for one night great location. The receptionist she was welcoming. When we got to the room that we were staying for the night. First impression was clean and tidy. However the room was smelly as you entered with the one and only small window was open in the room. The bathroom was for designed for disabled use really. I will list the pro's and cons. Pro's The room was a good size for our needs two single and it had a TV that you could watch ”the news” on a channel. The kettle was clean and tea, coffee, sugar was in a bag if you wanted to make a tea with two cups no bottled water provide (but selling for £2 for 500ml at the entrance of the hotel). The wallrobe had hangers and a hair dyer if you needed it. The pillows were nice and the mattress was comfortable. The con's One of the beds had other people's hair in the sheets and on top of the duvet. The ceiling and a long legged spider with cobwebs hanging down from above were the TV is. The walls in the room had stains down the wall it was dusty in places. The walls had noticeable cracks in different parts of the wall, the furnitures are old and tired including the picture frame. The bathroom door was dirty from all the touching to open and close it. I am not sure how a disabled person are able to use the toilet effectively. Because the ”tiny” face basin was so close to the toilet it was not practical to be that close and I am not disabled. It had so many hand railings why was the basin so close and very low to the point were it was awkward for us to wash our faces etc and the floor was in a mess afterwards . there is a glass shelf with two small glass cups that was over the face basin which is simple not safe or practical because you will sit your face or eyes if your not careful when using the face basin. The extractor fan does not work when the light is on and no button to press it separately. But the only small top widow was open for any steam or smell to leave the bathroom. The hot water system made a lot of noise when turning on. Making it hard for anyone to use it without the whole or half of the hotel hearing it that how loud it was to us. The bath was clean however there was mold all over on the wall tiles the shower curtain was short and not fitting for that bath. The toilet papers that was provided was a very very cheap small rolls. There was three one screwed (toilet roller) on to the small face basin that got soaked when you use the face basin. And the other two was on top of the toilet with used tissue in one of them. Both windows in bedroom and bathroom was not dusted. Our biggest problem was someone who was on the same floor sounds like they were nextdoor. They kept coming and going and each time they open and close their door it caused our door to shake and bang because was door is not fitted correctly and full of gaps and so the wind and the force of the moving door as cause ours to make all that noise. We didn't have a good sleep because of the above and the live entertainment went on late also which could be heard as we were on the ground floor also. The room is not what I would class as a lovely room it's very basic old, tired not very appealing the walls and the bathroom needs refurbishment and the heating system needs serious attention. When we checked out the lady was pleasant when the card was returned. The guess with me she was not happy and felt that in her words she would not want to stay at another hotel because it was not comfortable during her stay. I would not have wanted to pay the full price if I was not getting the discount from my app. But even at that price that I paid it's not worth the money. Overall I was not happy but we needed to have somewhere to sleep and it provided us that.

Amazing stay at Hotel Celebrity. Located very near to the scenic view, it offers great and spacious rooms. I stayed at room number 246 and the room was quite spacious clean tidy along with a private bathroom that had a bath tub. The stay was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive to any query a customer might have. Breakfast includes bacon and other vegetarian options but there was just one spoon to use for bacon as well as the vegetarian options which can lead to cross contamination and for someone like me who does not eat bacon it was a deal breaker. However if a separate spoon would be kept to avoid cross contamination then it would have been even more amazing. Overall the stay and the locality is nice and the staff is quite friendly too. Would highly recommend Hotel Celebrity to everyone willing to travel to Bournemouth for a vacation or leisure time.

L'hôtel est très bon dans son ensemble, fortement recommandé. Si la famille voyage pour réserver sa chambre à la famille, la chambre standard est de deux lits 0.9. Le plus important est que l'hôtel est une rue de cuisine, avec un repas chinois et toutes sortes de hamburgers. Le petit-déjeuner pour les enfants de moins de 13 ans est gratuit. Le stationnement est pratique, 15 kilomètres par jour. À 15 minutes de marche sur la plage, la route n'est pas loin, principalement parce qu'ils descendent ici sur la plage. Et ils ont envoyé des petits-enfants et des petits-enfants, ce qui est très rare. Le sable est si fine que nous avons abandonné le bleu et nous avons passé deux jours sur la plage.

Fantastique... sauf payer un supplément £12.00 pour les oeufs royals sur le prix du petit déjeuner n'était pas bon... le personnel n'a même pas préalablement averti de prix supplémentaires jusqu'à ce que nous parteions. Cependant- si vous avez eu service de chambre alors aucun prix supplémentaire pour les œufs royales??

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Très proche de la plage et de l'arrêt de bus. A deux pas des commerces et restaurants locaux. L'hôtel ressemble à l'ambiance de l'hôtel Transylvania que ma famille aime particulièrement l'ascenseur authentique. 😁 Le personnel était gentil aussi. Les équipements étaient bons.

Had a good welcoming. Front desk employees work fast and professionally. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a nice city view. Rooms are clean and all the necessary amenities are provided. Unfortunately there was no available time in the spa in the morning.

Hotel’s location great, close to seafront and town centre. The room smelt a but funny as you walked in and I would not have been able to open the window without my boyfriends help. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest it looked like someone tried to flush a teabag down the toilet and it was stuck on the bottom. The water pressure on the 3rd floor was absolutely rubbish, it would’ve been easier to have a wash in the sink. We did request a room with a bath tub, which we didn’t get, but on the other hand the hotel had a little outdoor garden with sauna and hot tub which we did use for additional £20/person and we did not regret it! Also the young man on the reception was extremely helpful.

Les rénovations récentes sont excellentes. Personnel superbe. Professionnel, ami, utile. Superbe location. Le petit déjeuner était superbe mais très cher. Je resterais certainement ici.

La chambre est propre, beaucoup de restaurants à proximité, très pratique, le personnel administratif est gentil et le petit-déjeuner est très bon.

It was a cozy and lovely hotel with welcoming hosts. The room is small but has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. We took the see view room and it was just as described. Throughout our stay we did not find anything worth complaining so I would consider it a 10/10 hotel. We did not try the breakfast though so cannot comment on that.

We had a one night stay here at the George and it was brilliant. The room was lovely and so so clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered twice to the B&B and the man came up to my room each time to let me know it was here. The only downside was the parking was a little awkward, you have to go up on the pavement and over a lip to enter the car park which I didn’t realise until I entered the B&B so I ended up parking down the street instead which isn’t a problem. Will stay here again!

Les installations de l'hôtel sont simples et adéquates, et il n'y a pas beaucoup de types le matin. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est bon, à quelques minutes à pied du lac. Il y a des sentiers autour du lac et il y a plusieurs restaurants au bord du lac. Poole n'est pas grande et ce n'est pas trop loin pour faire du shopping ou aller à la plage.

Looking for a place to spend the night while visiting a friend. Room space is up to standard and the hygiene is at par. One hiccup is during check-in, the hotel system indicated that I need to settle payment upon arrival, but in fact I have already paid up in advance. The front desk (sorry I have not asked his name) was helpful enough to sort out the problem and settled it in 5 minutes time.
