Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm completely touched by my experience at this hotel. First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands. Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me! ( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I’m very impressed! The room is spacious compared to Japanese standards and very clean. The bed is soft and comfortable with full amenities. The location is perfect, right next to Toyama Station and the Tram stop, making it extremely convenient. The hotel is above a shopping mall, and there are other malls nearby where you can find everything you need. There’s a wide variety of food and convenience stores close by. You can even walk to Toyama Kansui Park. The staff are lovely and provide great service. I also loved the free water and ice machine. Highly recommended!

Location is great! Near shopping centres and train station. Drive to Kanazawa and Tateyama is easy too. Car park needs to be booked in advance (need to pay, ¥1000 a night if I don't recall wrongly). Cleanliness is great. Aisle abit narrow for luggage to open. Smoking room in the hotel itself, easy for smokers. Nice tasting Kurobe water provided at the room level. Great touch there! Enjoyed our stay, thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is so comfortable and bigger as compared to hotels in Tokyo. The staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have. The breakfast area have a magnificent view. I will definitely come back here to stay again. Thank you Toyama Excel Hotel Tokyu!

Les installations sont un peu vieux et appartiennent à l'hôtel traditionnel japonais. Le service est très régulier, je sens que le patron n'est pas enthousiaste, mais les gens sont très bons, tout ce que vous devez faire est fait, et le souvenir est également en place. Il y a un problème: il n'y a pas de chaussures de lumière, facilement photonés par le soleil le matin. D'autres sont parfaits, surtout les robes sont propres et ne sentent aucun goût.

Much better than I imagined! The place was so clean, convenient, and the owner was incredibly friendly. A few insects were present, but nothing out of the ordinary—it was totally acceptable. The food was amazing. Although it mostly consisted of wild ingredients like river fish and unusual vegetables, I enjoyed every dish! Especially the grilled fish cooked over the irori—exactly what I had dreamed of experiencing! The bathroom was lovely too. I didn’t expect to relax in a hot tub, but I did! After a long day of hiking, soaking in the bath at the minshuku Goyomon was the perfect way to unwind. The village was so quiet that I felt safe strolling around alone at night. Cherry blossoms were in full bloom, even though patches of snow still remained on the ground—it was such a magical contrast. I didn’t expect they would accept credit cards—but they did! It made everything even more convenient. I truly wish I could stay there again with my family! Oh, and I met a French family who recommended a beautiful Gassho-style house to visit the next day. Since there were only two rooms available, we had the chance to get to know the other guests as well.

Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully). For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine. For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.

J'y ai séjourné deux fois. C'est pas cher ! Et c'est propre ! (Le sol de la salle de bain est un peu sale, mais le reste de l'hôtel est impeccable.) Le couloir entre l'ascenseur et les chambres est tellement mignon qu'on dirait une surface d'eau ! J'adore ! On peut se connecter et regarder YouTube ! On peut aussi regarder Netflix ! C'est génial ! La gare est à seulement 15 minutes à pied, donc ce n'est pas un problème pour moi. J'aimerais bien y prendre le petit-déjeuner un de ces jours.

Large room size with lots of spaces even for triple room. Hotel itself is pretty old style interior (shiny wooden). Carpet is a bit old. Location is next to Toyama castle and 2kms from Kansui park at the river. Good for a morning run. Staff at reception area and lobby drop off are very friendly and helpful. The car park is a building away from main entrance.

Lieu confortable avec parking gratuit. Très bon et aideur personnel. Le dîner et le petit-déjeuner sont agréables avec une culture japonaise. Très confortable printemps chaud. C'est un peu vieux, mais ils le gardent très propre et très joli.
