Nous avions réservé une chambre japonaise sans vue au troisième étage, mais cela n'a pas posé de problème, car on peut voir le Mont Fuji un peu partout une fois dehors. Le tatami était très authentique et la chambre était grande, pouvant accueillir deux valises de 28 pouces. Le lavabo était également grand, mais la salle de bain de la chambre était très petite, nous allions tous nous laver au grand bain public. Nous y prenions un bain thermal avant de retourner à la chambre. Les bains extérieurs du rez-de-chaussée étaient rafraîchissants et le grand bain public du dernier étage offrait une belle vue. Il n'y avait presque personne quand nous y sommes allés, c'était vraiment très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était sous forme de buffet. Le premier soir, nous avons eu une fondue Shabu-shabu, et le deuxième jour, nous avons payé un supplément pour un dîner Kaiseki. Juste en face de l'hôtel, il y a un loueur de vélos. Pour aller et revenir de la gare, nous avons appelé l'hôtel pour qu'ils viennent nous chercher et nous déposer. Le personnel était très chaleureux !

Emplacement exceptionnel : à peine sorti du train, l’hôtel est accessible directement par la rampe. De l’autre côté de la gare, le mont Fuji se dresse déjà majestueusement devant vous. L’hôtel propose de belles chambres, plus spacieuses que celles disponibles en ville. Le petit-déjeuner, sans être exceptionnel, était suffisant. Le personnel, très poli et serviable, comme partout au Japon 😅

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

Pour le prix, c'est un excellent hôtel avec une vue magnifique sur le mont Fuji. Malheureusement, les points positifs s'arrêtent là. Il est un peu vieillot, sale et poussiéreux. Pas des nuages ​​de poussière à proprement parler, mais une rénovation s'impose. L'onsen dégage une odeur désagréable, on y trouve des traces de calcaire et des cheveux qui flottent dans les sources. De plus, il faut apporter sa propre serviette de chambre. Cela s'explique probablement par la différence avec les hôtels et ryokans plus chers. Je n'ai pas pris le petit-déjeuner, mais j'ai profité du café gratuit ; l'odeur des plats n'était pas des plus agréables. Petits inconvénients : J'ai entendu un homme ronfler dans la chambre voisine ; En mars, la climatisation ne fonctionnait qu'à pleine puissance, sans possibilité de réglage ; La chambre était étouffante, j'ai donc dû ouvrir la fenêtre ; La fenêtre mériterait un coup de chiffon.

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

C'est un excellent hôtel quels que soient le paysage et les installations. J'ai réservé la chambre la plus luxueuse Malheureusement, il y a eu un malentendu entre trip.com et l'hôtel. Les deux grandes chambres et la petite ont été remplacées par seulement deux grandes chambres. il y avait une petite chambre avec air conditionné et pas de lit. Le chef est parti subitement, j'ai donc dû me rendre dans un restaurant près de la gare de Kawaguchiko, où j'ai trouvé une surprise. Il y a une place de parking cachée qui est très pratique. 

L'hôtel est situé dans les montagnes du mont Fuji et du lac Yamanaka. La chambre est grande et confortable. Vous pouvez voir à la fois le lac Yamanaka et le mont Fuji depuis le balcon. L'hôtel est équipé d'une navette gratuite pour récupérer et déposer les touristes de haut en bas de la montagne, ce qui est très pratique👍L'hôtel est entièrement équipé et décoré chaleureusement. Il est équipé d'une piscine intérieure et d'un SPA thermal extérieur. Il est très populaire auprès des touristes locaux et européens (peu de touristes du continent). Cela soulage vraiment la fatigue du voyage👍Dîner J'ai réservé un repas français. L'apéritif, le plat principal et l'après-dîner étaient tous professionnels et courtois. et réfléchi, j'aime ça👍Le buffet du petit-déjeuner permet de voir directement le mont Fuji tout en dégustant la nourriture👍👍👍.

We had a great stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will return if we had the chance to go to Fuji again in the future. Tips: Although the place is nearby Fujisan station, we recommend u rent a car here for easy commute to the attractions. You can park the car right in front of your unit.
