Останавливались на одну ночь в эконом номере. Понятно, что за такую цену не стоит ничего существенного ожидать, но матрасы были прям очень плохие, просто кусок тонкого поролона, который мгновенно продавливается до самых досок и по сути лежишь практически на досках. Но это все было ожидаемо за такую цену, так что в целом ок. Красивая территория с садиком и столиками с видом на рисовое поле. Что испортило впечатление: завтрак! Заказали его дополнительно, так как в стоимость жилья он не выходил, и я точно не рекомендую брать его в этом месте. Это вообще не похоже на классический ланкийский завтрак, который подают в отелях этой же ценовой категории, ещё и стоит в два раза дороже аналогичных! Дорого и невкусно.

La nourriture était excellente, avec des produits riches et goûtants de biscuits et des curries magnifiquement préparées qui rendent chaque repas mémorable. La chambre est très confortable et vous avez un petit déjeuner. J'ai ma chemise précieuse à la main, honnête et Véres Valeurs au service par le personnel. Le dîner avec nos amis et famille a été merveilleusement organisé et a fait un catering an expérience que nous apprécions profondément. À Sanath, Janitha, et à l'ensemble de l'équipe : merci de faire de notre anniversaire une séjour mémorable et intime. Une appréciation particulière est également accordée à tous les membres du personnel de service, au personnel de sécurité et aux équipes d'appui pour leur dévouement exceptionnel. Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants et nous attendons avec impatience de revenir.

My booking was for 3 Double Deluxe King beds with lake views rooms, and I'm not happy because: The rooms I booked were not the ones I got it. They told me the pictures were wrong, but they are still on the website, so be sure you finally get the rooms you booked. Only 1 of the 3 rooms had lake views, the other 2 rooms were not lake views. TV didn't work in one of the rooms. All the 3 rooms need improvement. I attached the picture of the room it was supposed I got it, but I didn't. I contacted with reception desk 24 hours of arrival day asking for safari prices and they answered me one day after at 21 pm, so if you stay only for 1 or 2 days, this is a really late answer. So be sure when you book and paid for the Deluxe lake view room is the correct one. For other hand, the breakfast amd dinner menu are plenty od good and different choices of food.

Ismattha Hotel Anuradhapura is easy to locate and nearby to the local sights. we checked in pretty late and was still greeted by the reception with a big smile, appreciate their kindness and quick arrangements for check in and dinner at the restaurant was simply delicious. room walls can be pretty thin though, so light sleepers should ask for a corner room, cuz can hear guests walking pass outside. hotel parking is easy and safe, one key point for self drive tourists. there's a nice pool which we didn't get to use but from the pool, one can relax an see local trains pass by, so it's pretty cool. breakfast is simple but delicious and the staff are simply like friends welcoming you into their homes.

I recently stayed this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a nice touch—fresh and with a good variety. However, the only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was either very slow or not working at all during most of my stay, which was a bit frustrating since I needed to do some work online. I mentioned it to the front desk, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved. If you don’t rely heavily on internet access during your stay, this place is a great choice. But for remote workers or those needing reliable connectivity, keep this in mind

A wonderful, comfortable place to stay. It is located in a really convenient place if you wish to walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and laundry services. The rooms/grounds/environment are very nice, sitting next to Habarana Lake and you will share the grounds with nature. The food was wonderful, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes. However, the best thing about this place is the staff - absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful and attentive.

This was a great location in Polonnaruwa. We loved all the services provided. The hotel had a great garden and I would say this is one of the best hotel gardens ever experienced in Sri Lanka. I specially thank front office “Hansika” which she was very proactive in helping out, also her wonderful customer service to all of us stayed at the hotel. We also would like to thank “Dilshan” for his services throughout dining. We wish both of these staff very well and hope to come back soon. Also would definitely recommend the place for wonderful stay with fantastic views over Parakrama Samdudraya.

Loved the way Roshan communicated to meet our needs … even for a one night stay. He organised our half day safari & we enjoyed a fabulous meal the night before … such a variety of dishes, all home cooked … yummy The place was amazing … very new & in excellent condition. They were not fully booked & so we were offered an upgrade. His niece, Nikki?, accompanied us on the safari at no extra cost … her knowledge of birds & other wildlife really enhanced our experience. She willingly shared her photos with us, along with her excellent spotting ability. Thanks to everyone who contributed in some way to a memorable weekend

I highly recommend this place for your stay in Polonnaruwa. You can enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace nestled in a quiet forest. A short walk away is a lake where you can stroll along the shore or watch the sunset. The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including air conditioning and a hot water shower. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but I recommend staying longer if you have the time.

Overall friendly service and helped us book tours to the temples. However, really bad WiFi in the rooms. Bedsheets weren’t that clean. Bathroom floor was kind of sticky at first, as if they cleaned it with sugar water. Don’t expect too much from the breakfast since it’s just white toast, an egg, one cherry tomato fried, and 4 sticks of French fries. The overall design of the hotel is very nice tho with a big tropical yard. For one or two nights it’s totally ok.
