Hotel was well located, we could walk to many restaurants and attractions, for places further away we either used a taxi or an Uber. Buffet breakfast was not the best, we tried it both downstairs and on floor 10 executive level. We did not eat any other meals at the Barcelo so cannot comment. Many of the staff were very good and others were just average, our cleaning lady was great, front door staff just stand around and let people struggle with doors and luggage. Nice to have laundry machines on floor 11, we did our own laundry for around $3.00 which was handy. I found the building HVAC did not work great, so the room always felt damp/humid, even with AC running almost all day. Elevators are brutally slow, and when the hotel is busy, there can be very long waits due to weight loads.

Ce lieu est un véritable joyau caché ! Absolument magnifique et reposant, avec un personnel accueillant et serviable. La cuisine est délicieuse et le cadre est à couper le souffle ! Je le recommande sans hésiter !

Not my first time here, see my earlier post. San benito is essentially the gentrified area where all the nice hotels and good food are. I rebooked Kaleo hotel after my last stay, because once again I am relying on San Salvador as a hub for onwards travels - this time to copan ruinas. This time they bummed me up to their suite upstairs and I am very very very happy. My room this time has a balcony but it stares at a tree I won’t open the doors don’t wanna bring in mosquitos :). Breakfast choices are generous: anything from the local breakfast (quite bean and egg heavy) to French toast to pancakes and good supply of coffee.

This is my favorite hotel during my 3-weeks trip around Central America. Very well designed, cosy hotel with restaurant-garden, perfectly matched my expectations. The district around (San-Benito) is nice and secured, supermarket (Super Selectos) is in 900m, healthy food shop as well as the restaurant is attached to the hotel (more options to eat is also closely available). The room was very big and spacious, comfortable bathroom, small kitchen with dish/cafe also available. Excellent!

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Inhaber. Großes und sauberes Zimmer. Etwa 20 min von der Tica Bus Sation entfernt. Leider konnten wir unser Gepäck nicht mal für eine Stunde nach Check-Out da lassen.

La location de l'hôtel est très pratique pour trouver des restaurants. La fenêtre de la double panne a vraiment fait un bon travail en isolant le bruit de la rue. Malheureusement, les murs intérieurs n'ont pas pu faire preuve de tout. Nous avons entendu notre prochain voisin de la corde. Les pieds de haut. La chambre est propre, mais une bonne partie de la chambre est déshabillée sur les meubles et le sol. Il fournit des bouteilles d'eau complimentaires. Salle 629, étage de l'Ambassadeur.

Excelente ubicación, excelente atención amables , habitaciones impecables desayunos de primera, definitivamente vale la pena visitar este hotel personalmente lo recomiendo 100% , gracias por su atención......

Good basic hotel in San Benito which is a very nice area. Close to couple of malls with many dining options. The hotel provides a basic breakfast and also cleans the room and changes towel every day. No coffee machine in the room but other than that all good. Good value for money. To historic centre, it’s a I’ll out a 20min Uber.
