Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel in Köln war leider enttäuschend. Schon bei der Buchung hatte ich um einen frühen Check-in ab 12 Uhr gebeten und dies wurde mir auch telefonisch zugesichert vom Hotel selber. Ich hatte sogar darauf hingewiesen, dass ich andernfalls stornieren würde, falls ein früher Check-in nicht möglich sei. Man hatte mir zugesichert, entweder ab 12 Uhr ein Zimmer zu bekommen oder den Spa-Bereich ohne Probleme nutzen zu dürfen.
Als ich dann vor Ort ankam, war mein Zimmer jedoch noch nicht fertig. Der Spa-Bereich wurde mir erst widerwillig zur Verfügung gestellt, nachdem ich auf die telefonische Zusicherung verwiesen hatte. Am Nachmittag, als ich endlich mein Zimmer beziehen konnte, stellte sich heraus, dass es nicht den gewünschten Standards entsprach: Es war ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer mit einer Durchgangstür, durch die ich sämtliche Geräusche der Nachbarn hören konnte. Die Rezeption konnte oder wollte keine Abhilfe schaffen man verdrehte nur die Augen und verwies auf das System ,das System war den ganzen Tag über ausgefallen, was zu weiteren Verzögerungen führte für sämtliche Besucher.
Erst am Abend erhielt ich schließlich ein ruhiges Zimmer, sodass ich meinen Aufenthalt noch genießen konnte. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt von mangelnder Organisation und unzureichendem Service geprägt. Für einen entspannten Aufenthalt ist dieses Hotel leider nicht zu empfehlen.

the location of the hotel was great as it was so close to the christmas markets and city centre and train statio. the staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to provide us with whatever we needed. however, sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms were not as consistent, but this is not a big issue since we could call them up to rectify and they were willing to do so.

Idéalement situé au calme, à l'abri du bruit de la circulation. Grand parking.
Espace bien-être avec salle de fitness, sauna et piscine. Petit-déjeuner buffet copieux et varié.

Le petit déjeuner est très confortable, le petit déjeuner est très bon. La seule chose qui m'a dérangé était que le petit déjeuner était étonnant le premier matin de mon séjour, mais puis un peu décevant après - une pile comme le bacon était manquante, il n'y avait pas d'œufs frits, Et j'ai préféré les croquettes de pommes de terre sur les couilles de pommes de terre.

La position est légèrement éloignée, mais le milieu est très calme et les installations sont très prêtes. À côté de la réception, il y a un petit supermarché de produits alimentaires avec factures d'auto-assistance, vente intentionnelle, etc. Dans l'ensemble, recommandé.

IIlkaFrühstück war sehr gut und zum Glück auch bis 10:30 Uhr, weil Ferien waren. Das Zimmer war auch schön, zwar ein bisschen klein, aber wir hatten auch die günstigste Kategorie gebucht.
Allerdings hatten wir uns wegen dem Pool und der Sauna für dieses Hotel entschieden. Der Pool war defekt und nicht nutzbar. Die Sauna steht eigentlich von 9-22 Uhr zur Verfügung, nur muss man für die Nutzung am Vormittag vorher Bescheid sagen bzw. eine halbe Stunde warten. Das ist kein Problem, aber wenn man es nicht weiß - einfach ärgerlich. So hat unsere Zeit dann leider nicht mehr ausgereicht! Schade, denn das hätte durch richtige Kommunikation vermieden werden können.

Environnement : Très pratique pour les transports. Un supermarché Lidl et un magasin DM sont juste en face, et la gare ainsi que les arrêts de bus se trouvent à proximité immédiate.
Service : Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux.

IInvitéStayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival.
Pros:
- Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport.
- Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6).
- Amazing bed.
- Full-size working desk in the room.
- Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly.
- The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge.
- The food was amazing.
Cons:
- The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day.
- Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point).
Overall:
- Highly recommend, would stay again.

IInvitéNous étions ici pour une escapade en ville, le quartier est en plein essor avec de nombreux travaux de construction en cours mais sans perturbation. Il se trouve à côté de la plus petite gare mais dispose d'un accès direct à l'aéroport, l'arène principale est à proximité ainsi que le centre de conférence. L'hôtel en lui-même était propre et bien conçu, nous avions une petite kitchenette dans la chambre, ce qui était un avantage supplémentaire.

DDr.HeinkeJ'aurais pu pardonner dix points pour le service. J'aurais choisi l'hôtel avec le therme pour célébrer mon anniversaire avec ma famille. Nous sommes arrivés trop tôt, mais nous avons pu entrer. Nous avons été très bien servis au restaurant et très aimable et quand on a vu mon anniversaire proche ou même décorer une table supplémentaire. En général, la nourriture était aussi très bon, le thermo était sensationnel. Nous avons eu un moment merveilleux et merci chaleureusement.

IInvitéOverall the trip was good. We visited out of season so the hotel was fairly quiet. stayed for 5 nights. Like a few reviewers have commented, we booked a queen/ double bed and upon arrival to our room discovered we'd been given the key to a twin room ( two single beds) however upon being informed of the error by my husband, we were quickly moved to another room that was spacious and had the most comfortable bed that I've slept in, in a long time.
Parking wise, because it was out of season we were able to find on street parking with no issue and public transport was easy enough to access near by. We got the train into Dusseldorf and Koln during out visit.
The gym is basic but enough if you want a quick workout and the pool is a reasonable size, you just have to watch out for other guests who think it's appropriate to take their phones poolside. The sauna has hot coals and was nice and hot, but the lockers in the ladies changing rooms didn't want to lock and one ate my coins.
Food in the restaurant was nicely done but drinks in the bar a little pricey ( but I think most hotels are like that).

JJunThe room was small but clean, which was fine for a short stay. However, the breakfast cost €25 and had very few choices — definitely not worth the price. The swimming pool was also quite small, more for a quick dip than for relaxing. On the positive side, the hotel is located in the city centre, which made it convenient for sightseeing and dining out. Overall, a fair stay but overpriced for the limited facilities provided.

IInvitéNewish Hotel, in a remote location, need a car to get around. The rooms have no climate control, needed to request a fan as it was hot and humid in room. The 'natural pool' was freezing and quite dirty to look at, pointless as not heated in Germany. For a chef hotel, breakfast was average, not consistent, one morning the eggs benedict were great, next morning, totally overcooked and unappealing, Pancakes were aweful. At dinner, service was also inconsistent, forgot the soup, brought it after a long time after main course, just didnt work. We also found it to be very inflexible for a small luxury boutique hotel - they only provided sparkling water in the room, when we asked to switch the bottle to still water, there was poor communication and a charge of 8 euro for the still water? tap water tasted pretty salty and did not want to use that in the coffee machine either. overall pretty average, would not return or recommend
