La chambre était petite, la literie basique, la décoration simple et l'insonorisation médiocre. L'hôtel n'est pas vraiment adapté aux familles, car il ne fournit ni barrières de lit ni articles de toilette pour enfants. Le petit-déjeuner est à deux pas de l'hôtel The Star, mais le choix est limité. Le parking coûte 20 yuans par jour, ce qui est plutôt pratique.

Location of the resort is very good, on the river, close to the Surfers Paradise central area and walking distance to the beach. It has lots of free garage and on site parking. It has tennis court, beautiful pool with hot outdoor spa , gym and dry sauna. All service desk guys were very attentive and helpful. Downside is that the resort is old and needs lots of maintenance. All common areas are in need of a facelift. All units have individual owners. The unit I stayed had blocked sink in the bathroom and bed mattress in the bedroom was worn out and sagging to one side. Lucky me I was able to sleep on the other side!

Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits pour nos vacances.
Tout y était super pour nous, la chambre était propre et le charmant vieux bâtiment était bien entretenu.
Le prix était raisonnable pour la haute qualité de l'intérieur et des équipements de la chambre, des services et de l'emplacement. Nous réserverions à nouveau cet hôtel si nous retournons à Brisbane à l'avenir.

Friendly, helpful check-in. The man at the counter offered extra towels when he heard we were taking a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Paid a little extra for an upgrade as we wanted to check in early. Room was fine temperature and bed comfort-wise. It was a little bit dark when in the room at night. Also, there are no type c or plug ins next to the bed, just old style USB. We didn’t have breakfast but enjoyed a drink in one of the cocktail bars by the pool. Would recommend and stay again for its cost and location.

L'appartement est neuf, la cuisine et les autres installations sont complètes, il y a des coles à proximité pour acheter des choses à cuisiner pour eux-mêmes. C'est juste que la chambre 407 que nous avons aménagée fait face à la voie ferrée. C'est un peu bruyant pour ouvrir la porte du balcon. La porte est insonorisée lorsqu'elle est fermée.

The room was great, clean, service excellent, they let is check in early (2 hours) and check out late (1 hour) at no extra cost. Love the layout of the room, very well thought out and balcony view was amazing.

Juste en dessous de l'hôtel se trouve un supermarché Woolworths. L'emplacement est idéal, proche de tout. La chambre est spacieuse. Le service est un peu lent, mais ça va. J'ai envoyé un e-mail pour une petite demande, mais je n'ai pas eu de réponse. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé un très bon séjour et je reviendrai probablement.

Ssuper fishWe stayed for four nights over the Easter holiday in a panorama sea view room in the new tower.
First of all, the location is excellent. The pool area has a sandy beach, and compared to the Hilton next door, the water was much clearer and very pleasant. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, when the tide goes out, it turns into what feels like a “panoramic mudflat view,” so I would recommend carefully considering the timing of your stay.
On the other hand, there were several issues with the room. There is no balcony, and the windows cannot be opened. There were mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten multiple times, which caused itching and swelling. The insect repellent device in the hallway was empty, which made me question the quality of housekeeping management. When I spoke to a female staff member at reception, I was told that only body spray repellent was available, and no further assistance was offered, so I had to purchase and install my own insect repellent.
In addition, there was a sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom. The mirror and sink were not properly cleaned and appeared dirty. The room and hallway also had a moldy smell, and due to the humidity, the bed linens felt damp. The duvet was thin and not very comfortable. As I am sensitive to smells, these issues made me feel nauseous and unwell.
Later, my husband spoke to a male staff member at reception. Although the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, he responded with sincerity, apologized thoroughly, and instructed housekeeping to carry out a deep cleaning. When we returned from going out, the bathroom had been properly cleaned and the sewage smell was gone. The moldy smell in the room did not completely disappear, but it had been masked with deodorizer, and we were able to sleep well that night.
However, the same issues returned the following day. As it was the Easter holiday and other hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay until the end of our reservation. Afterward, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about the moldy smell, which made me regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I had assumed that as a five-star hotel, it would be fine.
Overall, the reception staff were kind, friendly, and professional. In particular, the male staff member who assisted us was excellent. On the other hand, I felt that the quality of housekeeping needs improvement.
In my opinion, these issues are largely due to a design flaw—specifically, the building was designed with aesthetics prioritized over functionality by the construction company and architect, resulting in rooms where windows cannot be opened despite the humid tropical climate. The older tower, which has balconies and windows that can be opened, may not have the same problems.
I would not recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to smells, but for those who are not, it can still be a wonderful place to stay given its location and facilities.

IInvitéSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

IInvitéDaydream Island n'est pas grande, mais elle est très agréable. Il y a de nombreuses excursions en bateau de Hamilton Island à Daydream ~ c'est très pratique ! Le dernier bateau que nous avons pris nous a emmenés à Daydream Island, et chacun de nous a reçu un collier composé de petites conques. Le personnel est sympathique et le petit déjeuner est copieux. Des kangourous et des pluviers pierreux sont visibles partout, et il y a des petits requins et des raies pastenagues dans l'étang... l'ambiance générale est très bonne ! ! !
Points clés à éviter : Si vous souhaitez jouer ou voler depuis Hamilton Island, choisissez de rester sur d'autres petites îles. N'habitez pas à Long Island. Il n'y a pas de bateau direct de Hamilton Island à Long Island. Shute Port et la fréquence des vols Très peu. (Il m'a fallu une demi-journée pour me renseigner sur les différents itinéraires de transport que je devais appeler. C'était vraiment ennuyeux, car il n'y avait pas de postes vacants sur l'île Hamilton et j'avais vraiment peur de dormir sur l'île). Nous avons atterri à Hamilton Island en avion et réservé un hébergement à Long Island. Nous sommes retournés à Hamilton Island le lendemain pour prendre un hélicoptère pour voir Heart Reef. Le premier départ de Long Island était pour Shute Harbour à 8 heures du matin. , il faudrait y aller le lendemain. Je dois attendre 17h30 pour arriver à Hamilton Island ~ Oh mon Dieu ! À cette époque, je croyais vraiment à la critique de cet hôtel disant que le bateau-bus était très pratique🐶🐶🐶 Nous n'avions pas d'autre choix que de renoncer à aller à Long Island et avons immédiatement réservé un hébergement sur Daydream Island. Le dernier horaire a été pris par moi au terminal des ferries de Hamilton Island pour votre référence. Personnellement, j'ai l'impression que Changdao est isolé et n'est pas développé par la même agence de voyage. Les frais de chambre ne sont pas remboursables ~ nous avons donc perdu 2 nuits d'hébergement à Changdao. De plus, le tarif du bateau entre les îles n'est pas bon marché, tout le monde devrait le faire. pensez-y également lors de la réservation d’un hôtel ! Il est à noter que Daydream Island nous a à nouveau redonné de la bonne humeur pour les vacances ! ! ! J’espère qu’écrire autant aidera tout le monde ! Après tout, personne ne veut vivre une si mauvaise expérience en sortant pour s'amuser.

RRoxrctWe booked The Langham on the Gold Coast for our honeymoon. It is a nice hotel but I can honestly say it is not worth the over $550 per night we paid. I’ve listed positives and negatives below:
Positives:
- there was a nice note and small chocolate slice in the room wishing us a lovely honeymoon
- Staff are very friendly/welcoming
- Ocean view was amazing from the hotel room
- facilities - gymnasium was fully equipped with a view of the ocean/beach
- Bathtub was lovely
- Easy access to the beach
Negatives:
- There were stains on the sheets. When we arrived I noticed two stains in separate places on the sheets (note: they were dry stains). I went down to reception and they said they’d send housekeeping up to change the sheets. As advised, a woman arrived to change the sheets. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the new sheets and there were stains on those as well. I went back down to reception and they said they’d send a supervisor up again to look at the sheets. Two staff came to the room, apologised and changed the sheets again (this time I checked). The hotel gave us a bottle of wine, some lip balm and pillow spray which was a nice gesture as an apology, however, multiple stained sheets for what is meant to be a 5 star hotel is very disappointing.
- The pre-authorisation amount (hold) when checking in is $200 a day, so $1,000 for a 5 night stay. This is ridiculously high. I don’t know why they hold that much considering most hotels, even 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in, hold $100-200 for a stay. On a positive note it did come back into my account straight away at check-out
