Hotel provided a fantastic experience. The hotel's strengths are its cleanliness, great breakfast, and excellent amenities. Our room was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a delicious and impressive variety of hot and cold options to start the day. After being in the cold weather all day, the best part was relaxing in the clean, quiet, and spacious hot springs.

Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory.

✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance
✔️ Hot springs inside the compound
✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development
Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴
Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course.
The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building.
In winter.
On ice.
With wind that slaps.
Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up.
To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾
Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc.
The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸

Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus.
At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for.
It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs.
Trip.com, if you’re listening:
no guest should ever be pressured to review.
The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative.

L'emplacement peut être un peu loin de la marche nord de Changbaishan - cependant, l'hôtel Concierge - un cri spécial à M. pour aller à son chemin et au-delà pour nous aider à obtenir des billets et à faire des arrangements même le jour de son repos.
La chambre est très belle et spacieuse, et il n'y a qu'une marche de 10 minutes pour trouver de la nourriture et des besoins.

JJoeSGNotre famille de 4 a eu un séjour de 2 nuits merveilleux à la mi-décembre. Nous avons demandé la connexion des chambres via Trip et Xiao Zhang & nous avons contacté directement via WeChat. Ils nous ont non seulement aidé à obtenir des chambres de connexion, ils ont également donné des conseils et aidés à organiser que nos bagages soient envoyés à l'hôtel alors qu'un conducteur privé (cost supplémentaire) nous a choisis de la gare pour commencer notre tour de Changbaishan immédiatement ainsi. The hotel itself is stunning — elegant design, comfortable rooms, a well-equipped gym, and a relaxing hot spring. Everything is spotless, modern, and carefully maintained.
For any international traveler visiting Changchun, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s foreigner friendly, luxurious, and highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again!

MMingJaeNiI forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty.
The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda.
The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

There were very few guests during our stay, which made the experience feel very personalized and unique. The room was beautiful, very clean, modern, and comfortable.
The fishing activity at the hotel’s pond was unfortunately out of season, but the staff kindly arranged and paid for us to fish at a nearby lake instead, free of charge. It was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated.
The location is slightly on the outskirts, so taxis are needed to reach most attractions and the walking street. Unfortunately, we arrived at the end of February when the winter season was ending, so some of the area’s natural beauty was fading and a few activities were no longer available.
