Pour les visites en voiture, l'hôtel jusqu'à la station de ski est le plus pratique. Vous pouvez vous rendre à Hakuba, Shiga ou Karuizawa. Le trajet dure une heure. S'il y a un problème avec la météo dans une zone, changez-la pour une autre zone. Cela n'affecte en rien l'ambiance du ski. It is an old classic hotel. Room is big, but bed is small (＜1m). Sometimes it is hard to find a staff who can speak fluent English. Breakfast is good, but lunch is overpriced. It is a ski-in-ski-out hotel for Cortina, so it is convenient if you stay in hotel for whole day. But road condition can be terrible in snow days. Many cars cannot get onto the slopes to the hotel from main road even equipped with snow tires.

Really beautiful resort, love the free rental Onsen it’s really nice, if you don’t need room cleaning service you can get 2000yen coupon for souvenir shop. It’s close to the outlet only 10mins driving distance. There is a 7 eleven close to the hotel but need to be aware that the convenience store will be closed at 2300.

J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans les hôtels du groupe Karuizawa Prince, dont Karuizawa Prince et cette fois Prince West. Comme l'hôtel est situé à une certaine distance de la gare, l'hôtel pouvait auparavant nous aider à transporter les bagages jusqu'au centre de service client situé près de la gare, ce qui nous a apporté beaucoup de commodité. Maintenant, le service n'est plus disponible et nous devons transporter nous-mêmes les bagages à la gare en navette et nous ne pouvons même pas stocker temporairement les bagages dans le centre de service pendant que nous pouvons visiter le point de vente ou déjeuner sans avoir à nous soucier des bagages. avant de prendre le train. I love staying here. Highly recommended for everyone seeking the hotel in Matsumoto. The hotel provides more things than I expected eg, welcome drink (including beer & highballs) public bath & tab, massage chair.

Compared to Prince West, The Prince is much quieter and cozier. The room comes with a kitchen and the bathroom is spacious. Our room was on the first floor which opens directly to the outside, so when it snowed my daughter ran happily outside to make a snowman. There was a lounge serving drinks and wines, which all guests could enjoy, what I appreciated the most is the library setting with books to read. Service was phenomenal, the reception and all staff members were helpful.

Some of the best customer service we've ever experienced. Ms. Abe was wonderful and her English was excellent. The outdoor onsen was perfect, truly beautiful. A big, well landscaped area, truly relaxing. All guests get to reserve 30 minutes of private use each evening, which was wonderful, but you can also go back during men's time, women's time, or mixed if you want to enjoy some more. The breakfast was also very good, and the room was sizeable. This was our favourite stay in Japan.

I chosen Cottage A to stay in. While there is nothing much to complain about the cute cottage, personally it is a bit too small for me. But nice environment, good and helpful staff and a very convenient shuttle system to bring you around. You can also call an internal shuttle service that can ferry you from your cottage to the newer West hotel for their buffet breakfast. Otherwise you can eat at the East Hotel for either a Japanese meal set breakfast or a Western style set breakfast. The bread is really good and soft. The outlet shopping mall is accessed by their half hourly shuttle bus and you can do your premium shopping there and eat at their various restaurants or at their food court style food outlets.

Very nice Ryokan with excellent staff. The food was excellent and the attention to details were exceptional.
