This was a wonderful stay. The location was great, very close to a supermarket as well as a petrol station. The very first night they recommended a fantastic local bistro. We had a wonderful meal. The room was clean, it was lovely and cool. The AC was very, very welcome because we were here during quite the heatwave. Yes okay it's summer but, oh my god, 35 degrees Celsius is a lot to deal with. Didier and Lara were incredibly welcoming. The breakfasts were utterly incredible. We felt incredibly spoiled. We had delicious, fresh pastries. We had beautiful yoghourts. We had lovely fruit purées. We had poached eggs. Nothing was too much trouble. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. The pink grapefruit juice was freshly squeezed. It was really really delicious! What was really nice is that we stayed for three nights. What was really lovely was that we'd come back each day and our room had been tidied and the beds had been made. We had always turned off the air conditioning so it was really nice to come home to our accommodation. The AC was on so the room was already lovely and cool by the time we got in. I would happily stay there again. Wonderful host, friendly, not in your face, just really really welcoming, and we would absolutely stay there again.

If you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley. Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!! We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us. Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady. Just go. Dont hesitate.

Passé une nuit à l'ibis Alençon juste au centre-ville sur la place Auguste Poulet-Malassis. La belle basilique est à 4 minutes de marche, les boutiques, les restaurants et la place Halle au Blé sont sur votre porte, et la gare est seulement un 10-minute piste. La chambre était typique d'ibis : compact mais bien conçu, avec un lit très confortable qui m'a donné un excellent sommeil de la nuit. Le Wi-Fi gratuit était rapide et fiable. Le petit déjeuner est un point de vue : les œufs frais en couture et les sauces préparées pour l'ordre, la sélection décente de pâte, de fruits et de fromage. Bon prix.

Hébergement parfait ! Une ville charmante, une chambre assez spacieuse pour accueillir deux grandes valises, un personnel très accueillant et même des voiturettes électriques et des appareils électroménagers gratuits à l'extérieur. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily. The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away. On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!

Le lit de la chambre était très confortable et moelleux. Pour le parking, il faut d'abord se procurer le mot de passe à la réception de l'hôtel, puis se garer au parking souterrain juste à côté. Le tarif est d'environ 8 euros par nuit, ce qui est plutôt pratique. Je le recommande vivement, surtout aux personnes véhiculées.

Super découverte à côté du port et bors de mer... résidence hôtel avec petit dej qui était vraiment Top et bien garnis. Personnel très sympa, qui nous surclassé dans un meilleur appartement avec terrasse. Je recommande !

The main building of the property is beautiful but has a tight parking space, which… needs to be booked ahead.. and we didn’t know . Anyway, also be aware that there are 3 buildings within the property, 1min walk to each other, and in winter at the dark of the evening, it is not really convenient to go from one place to another one. Anyway. Fact is that the 2 buildings we were presented are beautiful, fully renovated, warm and nicely decorated. Well done. Breakfast was also very good; I just think that the breakfast timing mngt of the various bedrooms run off… as people were queuing up, waiting for tables. My advice: wake up early, go breakfast early! ;-) Again very nice mansion and service.
