My wife and I visited Catalina Island for our 28th anniversary — our first time back since before we were married in 1997. We chose the Catalina Canyon Inn specifically for the pool, jacuzzi, on-site restaurant, and shuttle service. Their website is very nice and seemed like a perfect match for the occasion. Unfortunately, very little matched what was advertised. Shuttle: The shuttle was not waiting at the Catalina Express port when we arrived on the last ferry Saturday evening which was unexpected. Four of us were left waiting in the dark for about 20 minutes until the other couple called the hotel. The driver was friendly and apologized, but this set the tone for the weekend. The shuttle was consistently unreliable throughout our stay. They tell you to call the driver directly, but he often didn't answer. You'd end up having to call the hotel instead, and the shuttle only seemed to come after someone went inside and told the front desk in person. At one point we waited 45 minutes. Some guests got frustrated and just decided to walk, but the hotel sits at the top of a steep hill — not a realistic option, especially for older guests like us. Their website suggests the shuttle runs regularly, but that was far from our experience. Restaurant: We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM Saturday and were turned away, even though their website says they're open until 8:00 PM. We had to rush down the hill to find dinner to-go in town before the shuttle stopped running at 8:45. It was a shame we didn't even have time to stay and eat on our anniversary or face having to trek up that hill. The next morning I mentioned this to the restaurant owner, who insisted they closed at 8:00 and that she was there. She then told us the restaurant closes at 2:00 PM on Sundays — so dinner there that night wasn't an option either. She was very friendly though I must say. On Monday we finally had breakfast before checkout. The food was mediocre and didn't match the glowing reviews at all. The prices were also odd — $12 for mozzarella sticks, $20 for nachos, but only $11 for pulled pork sliders, which you'd expect to be the pricier item. The pricing just didn't add up. While we were there, another couple was turned away at 1:30 PM because the restaurant closes from 2–4 on Mondays. We could feel their frustration. Jacuzzi: The jacuzzi we were looking forward to was covered up and converted into a gazebo with chairs. At first we couldn't find it but yea. No mention of this on the website. Room issues: The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The front desk told us we can mention it to housekeeping, who didn't come until after 5:00 PM. We got the soap and a couple fresh towels. The towels themselves were thin and didn't dry well overnight so fresh ones were sorely needed to get at least one shower in with soap before we had to leave the next day. The TV didn't work at all, and the microwave was unplugged — though I was able to fix that myself. The hotel also doesn't offer complimentary coffee, which is standard at most hotels we've stayed at for half the price. The good: The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and the balcony was a nice touch. The room was quiet. Bottom line: The website gives a very different impression than what you actually get. Between the unreliable shuttle, limited and unpredictable restaurant hours, missing amenities, thin towels, and no coffee, this was not the anniversary experience we hoped for. I'd recommend staying somewhere closer to downtown so you're not dependent on a shuttle and stuck with limited options. I think we need to redo our anniversary. It was a miss for sure.

A proximité de l'arrêt de bus de l'hôtel pour l'aéroport, facile à aller à l'aéroport même à la nuit. Ce qui peut être mieux - restaurant et bar fermés, donc si vous avez besoin de nourriture ou de boisson, vous devez aller loin.

Des performances élevées, un bon environnement, très proche de l'aéroport, je me sens relativement en sécurité et l'environnement environnant regorge d'immeubles d'affaires ou de grande hauteur. C'est un bon choix. Il y a une navette aéroport.

Cet hôtel se sent très bien, l'aménagement et les installations de l'hôtel sont très atmosphériques, l'attitude du service est très bonne, l'environnement environnant est également bon, les supermarchés, les restaurants et les transports sont très pratiques.

Le service et les équipements étaient très satisfaisants. Il y avait une petite piscine à l'extérieur, je me souviens que les repas n'ont pas été fournis séparément. Il était cependant accessible parce que Walmart, In-n-Out, TacoBell, McDonald's, etc. étaient situés autour.

L'hôtel n'est pas loin de l'aéroport, et l'avantage est qu'il y a une navette aller-retour ce qui est très pratique. L'appel n'a pas abouti. Après votre arrivée à l'aéroport, rendez-vous au parking des bus au 3ème étage et attendez le bus. Il y aura du personnel sur place pour répondre à vos questions. Plusieurs points. Il y a en général un bus toutes les demi-heures. Il y a également un bus pour l'aéroport toutes les demi-heures à partir de 7 heures du matin. Notez que même s'il est très proche, il y a parfois des embouteillages et il faut parfois une demi-heure pour se rendre à l'aéroport. A proximité : Il y a un supermarché en face, ainsi que plusieurs restaurants et supérettes, très pratique. Hygiène : L'hôtel est un peu vieillot. La chambre qui m’avait été attribuée avait une odeur de moisi. L'odeur était encore plus forte après avoir allumé le climatiseur, donc je ne l'ai pas allumé pendant une nuit. Mais il fait vraiment froid sans climatisation en automne, donc s'il y a une odeur, changez de pièce. Veuillez le considérer comme approprié. Le distributeur d'eau de l'hôtel a de l'eau chaude, ce qui est bien

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de séjourner au Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne pour un voyage d'affaires, et je dois dire que ce fut une expérience plutôt agréable dans l'ensemble. Avant tout, la proximité de l'hôtel avec l'aéroport international de Los Angeles (LAX) est un avantage majeur. Il se trouve à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, ce qui le rendait incroyablement pratique pour quelqu'un comme moi qui devait prendre un vol tôt le matin. L'hôtel propose également un service de navette gratuit depuis et vers l'aéroport, ce qui était une délicate attention. Le processus d'enregistrement a été efficace et le personnel de la réception était courtois et accueillant. Le hall d'entrée est propre, moderne et bien conçu, créant une première impression favorable. J'ai séjourné dans une chambre standard, propre et bien entretenue. Le lit était confortable et j'ai apprécié les oreillers supplémentaires fournis. La chambre avait une vue décente et était suffisamment spacieuse pour un voyageur seul. La salle de bain était également propre et équipée des commodités nécessaires. L'un des points forts de mon séjour a été le restaurant sur place, The Bistro. La nourriture était étonnamment bonne et ils proposaient une variété d'options pour le petit-déjeuner et le dîner. Le personnel du restaurant était attentif et offrait un excellent service. Cependant, j'ai trouvé les prix un peu plus élevés. Le centre de remise en forme était bien équipé et j'ai pu maintenir ma routine d'entraînement pendant mon séjour. De plus, la connexion Wi-Fi était parfois un peu lente, ce qui pouvait être frustrant si vous essayez de travailler. Dans l'ensemble, le Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne est un choix solide pour les voyageurs à la recherche de commodité à proximité de l'aéroport. Le personnel amical, les chambres propres et les excellentes options de restauration en font un lieu de séjour confortable. Cependant, des améliorations en matière d’insonorisation et de vitesse Wi-Fi amélioreraient l’expérience globale.

C'est très pratique, avec des attractions touristiques comme le Chinese Theater d'Hollywood accessibles à pied. Je suis arrivé tard le soir, mais il y avait quelqu'un à la réception, donc je me suis senti à l'aise. La chambre était propre, au minimum, et la climatisation fonctionnait bien et n'a causé aucun désagrément lorsqu'elle tombait en panne. Ce n'est en aucun cas un hôtel de luxe, mais les serviettes étaient en forme de cygne, ce qui m'a permis de passer un séjour chaleureux.

Location is very close to Disneyland which is perfect, about 7-10 minute walk. It is hard to see the actual hotel because of the surrounding tall buildings but the small entrance is right next to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We are a family of 6 with 16,7,8 and 3 year old kids. We were given a corner room, 2 queen bed suite. Room location is not ideal, we have a view of the hotel’s HVAC system. I think the suite is quite small but it does not matter to us since we didn’t book to stay at the hotel but to spend in Disneyland. I have one complaint about the room: the charging station (one) by the night stand was not working, as well as the reading light on one of the beds. This is personally important to me as I need to charge my phone at the end of the day and I need it close to my bed for easy access. The bathroom is clean. Spacious stand in shower. Great water pressure and temperature. Spacious bathroom vanity with large LED mirror. Towels are enough. Toiletries are complete. Room kitchen is complete with a spacious fridge. Room sofa is ok, not the most comfortable but it is not a deal breaker for me. The sofa can turn into a bed but we didn’t use it. One large tv in the living area and one large tv in the bedroom. I think the closet size is decent, has limited number of hangers. Hotel lobby and dining area is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Free buffet breakfast when I booked, it was good- depending on the day, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon, tater tots, fried potatoes, grapes and honeydew, different flavored yogurt, make-your-own-Mickey-waffles, bagels. They have all the condiments and all kinds of drinks. You can order food from your room from outside places (room service) but the choices are limited and of course more expensive; we used DoorDash instead as the price is about the same, if not, cheaper and the choices are endless and it was delivered right to our room anyway. Check in and check out process is quick and smooth. I’d say our stay was comfortable and enjoyable for the most part!
