If you’re coming from the Biloxi bridge, go just past Harrahs to Kuhn street, across from the big silver eggs. Ample parking and great place to put in. We were the only ones on deer island that day. ...
Our first beach camping trip.
We had the most adventurous camping trip! Kayaked over with our gear and spent several days exploring the island.
Enjoyable.
Not the best island in the area but we brought the family to spend the afternoon. Liked the privacy that we got from going to the island vs staying on the shore. Kids loved it.
Fun to kayak too.
This little island a short row from shore is fun to explore. Take a lunch, hike to other side of island(bring shoe and pants. Enjoyed just sitting on a small beach, collected a few shells.
