Linville River

The Linville River has cut a beautiful path through an amazing gorge. Springtime was a perfect time to visit! Not too hot yet, but lovely green hillsides!

Beautiful area, lots of choices about hiking difficulty

Beautiful hike along the river. Choices about degree of difficulty, which we very much appreciated. We got a very beautiful, "frameable" picture very near the visitor center.

Peaceful! Nice hike!

Was well laid out and easy to hike. A great way to take in some nature without getting too rigorous! Us old people can’t handle that!
