In 1928, in memory of two brave pilots who attempted to fly directly to the North Atlantic in a biplane, flying over the cliffs of Etelta. A monument was erected on the hanging chisel of Amunt. In 1962, it was replaced by a 24 meter high concrete spire, tilted 60 degrees and pointing towards the sky.
