Fall colours and chilly temperatures are arriving. The ten weeks during which this area thrives with holiday visitors has come to an end. Many of the eateries are closed for the season.

Unless you have a strong wind, the bugs will eat you alive. Black flies in May-June. Mosquitoes in July-August.
