Pretty, but seriously dangerous due to absent staff.
This is a pretty park that endangers campers through neglect. We had a wonderful site, though it looked like it had been damaged, possibly by a fallen tree. The picnic table was propped up by a cinder...

Maynes lake campground must go to
We slept at the Maynes lake campground. Great facility accessible in wheelchair with laundry, showers, restrooms. The view was spectacular surrounded by bayous and lake with birds and turtles. A must!

It’s a Gem and well worth the stop!
Wonderful walking trails and sights around the Pearl River. So glad we found this gem!! Only a few $’s to get in and can easily spend a few hours. Includes a museum.
