Beautiful parish church with a fascinating history
A lovely church sat in the middle of an old RAF Airfield that was saved from demolition by WW2 pilots for whom it said they were home safe.

Heartbreaking War graves at this church in an isolated position by the airfield. Such a waste of young lives.

A must visit every time we are near.
A wonderful quiet, peaceful place. Mere words will not do this place justice. My father was stationed nearby during WW2 in the R.A.F. He introduced me to this place some sixty years ago.
