challenging train for me, 72 years old, but daughter, 39 easily maneuvered. Lots of giant cactus. lots of rocks along trail to challenge.

Perfect morning hike/run

Very nice trail, perfect in the mornings as the sun does not hit the canyon before noon, trailhead parking, easy to find trail at least until the "balcony" (3 hours roundtrip if you are a fast hiker)....

Just Do It

A moderately difficult trail, especially as you gain elevation. Plenty to see along the way but be smart: keep your eyes open for some of the native critters.

Better in the 70s

In the 70s you did not have to go through private property. Parked in lot on N alvernon and it was an easy climb. Used to go and do homework at the finger
