Plage très familiale, presque aucun touriste. Attention, peut-être vaut il mieux y aller avec des brésiliens. Fauteuils et parasols gratuits

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this beach. There are nicer beaches in Salvador. One thing I did like was the view of Salvador's skyline from the beach, not much else...

Beautiful urban beach

Beautiful beach, warm water. Excellent to walk. You can seat and order drink and food and have umbrellas to protect against the sunshine.

Praia Beach Boa Viagem

located in Lower city so great to fit into your day or 1/2 day visit to lower city to see Igreija (Church ) Bonfim, Ribeira (go get ice cream at sorveteria de Bin fim), Humaita

Not so attractive to swim

Beautifull for sporting activities. Not attractive to swim. There are shark warnings. Swim only at low water.
