Really spacious room and very clean. Liked that it had a microwave and located in a central part of the city

This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast included was definitely the best part of the stay because it wasn't a continental breakfast but a freshly made egg omelet with sausage, waffles, bagels, and of course coffee or tea. The downside of the stay was being close to a busy road and traffic can be a little noisy.

Ma famille vivait à Vancouver et visite Les examens étaient si mauvais que je me faisais très inquiet et visite, mais ils étaient mieux que moi. L'hôtellerie était gentille de parler coréen, et il était confortable de s'occuper de lui sans escaliers ~ Mais ... Chauffe-eau ... Vraiment bruyant ㅠㅠㅠ Si vous ne l'activez pas, il est froid et ... Si vous l'activez, il est sèche et ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ Mais c'était mieux que les commentaires ~ Je l'ai utilisé pour deux personnes, mais c'était bon parce qu'il n'était pas étroit !!

It was a pretty good place to stay in downtown Vancouver. I chose this hostel because I had to wait for my next flight and didn’t have much time there, but I really appreciated the staff letting me check in early. I arrived about an hour before check-in time expecting to just wait, but my room was already ready and they let me in right away, which I was very grateful for because I was exhausted and really needed some sleep. I didn’t stay long, but during my time there everything was comfortable and I had a good experience overall.

Les installations de l'hôtel sont relativement anciennes, mais le cadre environnant est assez bon, le petit-déjeuner est correct.

What a wonderful unique experience. The setting around the lake was beautiful. We appreciated that all rooms face the lake. We enjoyed the amenities, the restaurant and Games area. We would recommend that everyone take the time to tour Ghost Town....sharing the history of the area. It was incredible....loved the train museum! Had a great stay!

The first night of our stay was wonderful, until went down for the breakfast and the pancake machine did not work, is sprayed pancake mix all over the counter, and the remaining selection for the continental breakfast was VERY limited, the second night att about 1230 am a very large and loud group of guests entered the hotel, they were yelling and hollering and slamming door until 420 AM so needless to say no sleep that night, called desk staff at 1240 when it started and they said they would rectify the situation. Well that never happened!!! When I confronted the dssk staff about the issue in the morning, they said it was a large group of guests and there was nothing they could do about it. I said thatbis not right, there were many things they could have done of they chose to do what was required. They said they would have the manager call us and work out a compromise for the night that we endured. 5 days later and still no call!!! We have stayed here before and came back because it was a nice place, but the lack of concern for a dissatisfied customer has made me question any further stays at the Ramad chain of hotels. Our 2 bedroom suite has 3 stories. The entrance was on the 2nd floor, there were no elevators. On the second floor there were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and laundry. Go up a flight of stairs there’s the living room, kitchen and dining area, and a powder room. The house was generally clean and tidy. But when we were about to go to sleep we saw a few strands of hair under the pillows and it was quite disturbing. We knew it was not our hair because we saw it just as we were going to bed and picked up the pillows to fluff them; no one had used the bed yet. We then opened the blanket to check and there was one strand of hair under the covers too. Management apologized for it and was sincere but that did not help with our experience. It was the hair under the pillows that made us feel that bedsheets were likely not changed. A few other things: Headrail of blind was loose and fell down when we opened the blind. In the kitchen cooking oil/condiments seemed to be provided, but was empty. Overall I would probably have rated this stay 4.5 stars if it wasn’t for the hair on the bedsheets. That made us all feel very uneasy

Voyageur aguerri, voici mon avis sincère. J'avais réservé trois jours et on m'a donné une chambre vétuste avec un radiateur à bain d'huile et un ventilateur, car les plinthes électriques n'avaient pas été rénovées. La prise et la multiprise étaient encombrées, derrière une télévision poussiéreuse. Vu mon budget, je m'attendais à un peu plus. J'ai dû rester une nuit de plus, alors j'ai réservé en ligne et j'ai eu une meilleure chambre. Mais à mon arrivée, j'ai trouvé une jeune femme brièvement inconsciente, une pipe à la main, juste à l'entrée. Comme il y avait des enfants dans l'établissement, je l'ai signalé lors de ma réservation, mais ça n'a pas semblé être pris au sérieux. Un homme a ensuite fait entrer la jeune femme, qui était manifestement prostituée, mais aussi incapable de consentir. Je l'ai dit au réceptionniste, en précisant qu'elle avait du sang sur les jambes, mais il n'a pas semblé s'en soucier. Je suis choqué que cette jeune femme ait pu être si facilement agressée. Donc, si ce genre de situation ne vous dérange pas et que la qualité de votre chambre n'est pas garantie, alors cet hôtel est fait pour vous. L'hébergement était horrible, non, j'ai vu pire, et la deuxième chambre était tout à fait correcte, mais le quartier semble aussi tolérer d'autres types de séjours, car c'était vraiment flagrant. Mais bon, c'était pas cher !
