The Service is good and they are very friendly

The room is nice, breakfast is really good, staff are friendly and helpful, but the swimming pool was closed when we arrived in the afternoon, managed to swim the next morning.

Mon ami et moi, avec son chien très grand, restés ici comme un arrêt-over en marchant sur la route John Muir et nous n'avons pas pu être plus heureux avec notre expérience. La chambre était propre et très confortable avec une douche puissante qui a été appréciée après une longue journée de marche. Vous pouvez prendre votre bagage du taxi ? Est-ce que ça va, si nous arriverons tard ? Pouvons-nous changer d'un double à un double ? Pouvez-vous nous aider à commander un taxi pour un grand chien ? etc. - et tout a été traité comme si ce n'était pas un problème ? Nous étions aussi très heureux de trouver le bar ouvert et de se faire baiser avec des locals amis quand nous sommes arrivés à l'heure 10.30 pm!

J'ai réservé une suite king size ! On m'a proposé une chambre avec deux lits simples avec un énorme espace au milieu sans salle de bain ! Plus tard, ils nous ont mis dans la chambre double mais j'ai payé pour la suite king size. J'aurais certainement besoin de mon remboursement. Le petit déjeuner était correct, excellent emplacement mais je me suis sentie arnaquée !

L'hôtel est très confortable et le restaurant est très confortable. Nous avons reçu un fan de poussière et brisé pour combattre la chaleur, mais malheureusement personne ne s'est excusé quand nous l'avons amené au personnel que nous devions laisser la fenêtre ouverte toute la nuit pour essayer de combattre la chaleur. Je sais que ce n'était pas la faute des individus, mais un bon service à la clientèle parlerait de pardon au client et aucun des 4 personnes dont nous parlions n'a fait une excuse et ils semblaient aussi désorientés.

We are a couple and booked for a double room but given 2 singles room. Only found out when we went into the room. Went back to reception to show booking made for double, only then we were informed that there was no availability. We would have appreciated if this was made clear during check-in rather than finding out by surprise (with disappointment) and having to go back to reception to clarify.

Comfortable stay, hotel a bit dated but clean and functional, staff mainly friendly, issues at breakfast with staff working really hard but not able to keep up with food replenishment, told by manager to use a paper cup as no clean cups available, had to ask twice for coffee machine to be filled with milk. Reasonable choice of breakfast items, unfortunately no pastries though. Good amount of free parking available, staff clearing and cleaning tables friendly and hardworking.

Le service est très bien réservé. La chambre était propre et confortable, mais très difficile à garder une connexion WiFi dans la chambre (a dû rester dans la salle de bains pour obtenir tout WiFi utile). Avoir un bon séjour et recommandera à d'autres marcheurs de West Highland Way à se traiter à un séjour en route.

A good room and well worth it’s money (compared to the prices you have to pay for an accommodation in Edinburgh)! We had our own kettle, tea and coffee in our room, also the breakfast and the restaurant was great! The only flaw was that it was so far away from the city center and there aren’t many buses stopping near the accommodation, I should have researched that better. Besides that we had an amazing stay and I can recommend this place!

The location of the hotel is perfect for those who travel by train. Stuff do not mind to give me me the new room as the first provided room smells a little weird, making me and my friend feel uncomfortable. I have never seen any hotel using the heater for the towels. I like it
