Decent room size. Dinner took a while to arrive but tasted nice. Breakfast was alright too but didn’t have any hash-browns. Pool was not that big but did allow children over the age of eight to go into the jacuzzi. Pool closed a bit early on Saturday that last entry at 7.15pm. Hotel was overall quite clean.

This was our second trip to this hotel. The location is stunning, to wake in the morning and pull back the curtains to reveal a panoramic view of the lake was breathtaking. Breakfasts are amongst the best we’ve ever had. Service first class across the board. Highly recommended.

Tout est bien, sauf pour le comportement d'un employé à la réception, mais je ne veux pas mentionner son nom. Et si nous demanderons une autre bouteille, ils disent que nous devons l'acheter. Nous payons 87 £ par nuit pour un séjour de nuit, et pourtant il n'y a pas de services supplémentaires ni même de l'eau complimentaire.

Disappointed at first off when I found out I had to pay a further £5 for parking my car. First appearance was it seemed very dated. The room was ok, bed clean and comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities. TV was a limited on stations, but absolutely no WiFi or if there was it wasn’t available in my room. Noise from the next door room, and from upstairs in particular was unbearable, I think they must have been real heavyweights as every step across their room was vibrating down through my ceiling, and at one point sounded like they were jumping off the bed it was so loud, I actually thought they would be coming through. The bathroom had really seen better days, felt grubby, mould on the ceiling, plugs in both the bath and the sink were old and broken, and the bath itself had seen better days, but on a positive note the towels were clean. All in all I didn’t feel it was worth the £72 plus parking fees and wouldn’t recommend, unless you could get it for less than £40 Max.

This hotel is luxurious and on this our second stay was just as gd except for breakfast
The location of the table meant my husband had difficulty getting to his chair each time due to a sideboard close to his chair. The staff were not v attentive and I had to look for a member of staff to clear the table of bowls and glasses folllowing our first course of yoghurt & granola. Our choice of cooked breakfast was served to the table but we had to help ourselves to toast. The cooked breakfast came to the table COLD. The bacon was tough as it must have be sitting either in a warmer or under a heater !!
At no staff during breakfast did waiting staff ask if we needed anything further or if everything was ok !!
On leaving the restaurant there were no staff to make a complaint to. We were in the breakfast room between 9 & 9.30 there were only a few other tables with guests in the breakfast room.

Décent. Avez tout ce dont vous avez besoin si vous n'utilisez qu'une nuit. Les lits sont confortables. Baignoire et douche dans notre chambre. Té et café Toutes les installations fonctionnent, ne vous attendez pas de luxe pour le prix que vous payez.

Really enjoyed the stay.. I am an IHG member but used trip to book as it was cheaper.. the only main thing I world say it need fried eggs for breakfast.. not everyone likes scrambled and goes cold to quickly

Stayed here for a weekend at the Cotswolds. Great location as base for visiting surrounding villages. Nice short drive into Cheltenham city. Clean rooms, great reception and restaurant service. The same breakfast selection every day but it was good and covered the basics of an English breakfast. They were also very on it when refilling stations. Didn’t get to try any amenities this time though.

IInvitéHave stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door.
On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually
moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again.
Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

We spent a wonderful weekend at The Bear of Rodborough, staying on Friday and Saturday night, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The hotel itself is full of charm, with a beautiful setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Breakfast was included both mornings and was a real highlight. It was such a refreshing change to have a cooked‑to‑order breakfast rather than a full buffet, while still being able to help ourselves to fruit, yoghurt, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We chose to dine at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was exceptional. The style is very much modern, refined cuisine, and both the duck and the stone bass were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It felt special without being pretentious.
The hotel also has a pub, which has a great atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you want a relaxed drink or a cosy corner to unwind in, it’s a lovely space.
Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth really added to the experience.
All in all, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend The Bear of Rodborough to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We’d love to return.

Le personnel de l'équipe était très aimable, et tout le personnel était accueillant et utile, et nous avons tout besoin. Leur connaissance et leurs recommandations locales ont amélioré notre visite dans son ensemble.
Le petit déjeuner inclus était une vraie valeur éminente et exceptionnelle. Les options fraîches, bien préparées avec beaucoup de variété nous ont satisfait chaque matin avant d'explorer. Il est rare de trouver un petit déjeuner complimentaire qui dépasse en fait les attentes.
Le centre-ville est un hôtel de qualité confortable et confortable, qui se trouve dans une zone de confort et de confort.
Recommandé pour un service amiable, une grande valeur et un emplacement idéal.

IInvitéNot worth the price. The place is stunning don’t get me wrong. However, it was a bit disappointing in terms of hospitality and the cleanliness of the hotel room was a bit disgusting with a vape and used slippers under the bed with hairs in the bath upon arrival. Furthermore, no TV remote and any information of what to do in the hotel.
Breakfast was brilliant but when you weigh the price of the hotel and the hospitality, I just don’t think £300 was worth the stay. Furthermore, the spa was rammed with children and parents so the size to person ratio was a bit much. Furthermore, restaurants are always booked up and it’s difficult to get a reservation unless you want to end up in the horsebox restaurant last minute.
Bartender was rude when under pressure from the restaurant as I asked for a drinks menu, to which he pointed me to go and get the menu for it. So just ultimately a bit disappointing especially since a room is nearly half a grand.

JJWLe parking gratuit est un bon prix, et l'emplacement est proche de la marche de la Severn Way, pour se promener à Deerhurst et au-delà.
Le service et l'attention de tous les membres du personnel nous ont fait sentir très bienvenus.
Le petit déjeuner était si précieux, et des portions énormes aussi! L'hôtel « pub chain » vous semble parfois être assez méchant et corporative, mais les chefs ici savent ce qu'ils font.
Un ou deux petits grumbles peuvent être le bruit de la circulation, car notre chambre était sur la route ( si porté des oreilles et fine) et le lit très doux, mais bien, c'était vraiment bien.
Nous resterions plus que probablement encore si nous avions passé par cette voie à l'avenir.
