I used this hotel as a stop off location, the 24hr check in desk came in real handy as I arrived at 2am. Room was clean, no issues with noise and a good set of amenities. Staff were kind and professional, nice stay overall. Will definitely pop by again, hopefully I'll have more time to use the fitness suite. The only thing that bugged me was the pay for parking which I didn't realise, so i paid £7 for parking at the reception when i arrived. Come morning, I've packed up, walked to the car, and gone to leave and the gate states I need to pay £12 to leave. I have to then reverse from the barrier before anyone else comes, park back up and walk back to the reception for them to tell me it's a glitch and that it doesn't sync up sometimes, this just added to an already tight turnaround timings wise. Hopefully they get this fixed.

Have stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door. On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again. Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

We booked a room for 3, which came with a King bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is one of the worst bed I have ever slept on. You virtually could feel the spring cracking whenever you move.  I have to let my parents sleep on the king bed.  The room assigned was right at the end of the building. Hotel guests uses that exit door to get to the carpark. Each time a guest uses the exit, the corridor floor “crack” and follow by the door slamming shut. Just too noisy and affected our sleep. Otherwise, it would have been a wonderful stay. Hotel should strength the floor and add a soft close mechanism to the door.

The hotel itself is full of charm, with a beautiful setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was included both mornings and was a real highlight. It was such a refreshing change to have a cooked‑to‑order breakfast rather than a full buffet, while still being able to help ourselves to fruit, yoghurt, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious. We chose to dine at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was exceptional. The style is very much modern, refined cuisine, and both the duck and the stone bass were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It felt special without being pretentious. The hotel also has a pub, which has a great atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you want a relaxed drink or a cosy corner to unwind in, it’s a lovely space. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth really added to the experience. All in all, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend The Bear of Rodborough to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We’d love to return.

Le Mousetrap Inn s'est avéré un excellent choix pour notre récente piste. La location est absolument parfaite – juste une promenade agréable à la ville principale, nous donnant facilement accès aux attractions locales, aux magasins et aux restaurants tout en profitant de l'environnement pacifique. Le personnel de l'équipe était très aimable, et tout le personnel était accueillant et utile, et nous avons tout besoin. Leur connaissance et leurs recommandations locales ont amélioré notre visite dans son ensemble. Le petit déjeuner inclus était une vraie valeur éminente et exceptionnelle. Les options fraîches, bien préparées avec beaucoup de variété nous ont satisfait chaque matin avant d'explorer. Il est rare de trouver un petit déjeuner complimentaire qui dépasse en fait les attentes. Le centre-ville est un hôtel de qualité confortable et confortable, qui se trouve dans une zone de confort et de confort. Recommandé pour un service amiable, une grande valeur et un emplacement idéal.

Service was polite and prompt upon feedback. Towels were absent in our room, but they were delivered very quickly on request. Hearty food is also served in the pub. The place is just right for a good night's rest.

Disappointed at first off when I found out I had to pay a further £5 for parking my car. First appearance was it seemed very dated. The room was ok, bed clean and comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities. TV was a limited on stations, but absolutely no WiFi or if there was it wasn’t available in my room. Noise from the next door room, and from upstairs in particular was unbearable, I think they must have been real heavyweights as every step across their room was vibrating down through my ceiling, and at one point sounded like they were jumping off the bed it was so loud, I actually thought they would be coming through. The bathroom had really seen better days, felt grubby, mould on the ceiling, plugs in both the bath and the sink were old and broken, and the bath itself had seen better days, but on a positive note the towels were clean. All in all I didn’t feel it was worth the £72 plus parking fees and wouldn’t recommend, unless you could get it for less than £40 Max.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel magnifique pour mon 60e anniversaire. Avec ma fille. Les vues sont incroyables et l'hôtel lui-même. Grand emplacement le personnel est très bienvenu et courtois. Il y a beaucoup de parking , malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu la possibilité d'utiliser les installations spa. Notre seule chose négative était notre chambre bien que le tapis avait quelques tiges sur elle et nos fenêtres n' étaient pas faciles à ouvrir , et la salle d' entrée à notre chambre était très sale qu' on avait été donné une chambre dans les terrains en dehors de l' hôtel et pour le coût . de notre séjour nous avons été très déçus de voir cette élégance, avec l'hôtel principal et le lobby, etc. Nous avions également reçu une chambre avec une salle de bain qui était plus adaptée à quelqu' un qui avait besoin d' un soutien plus important et bien qu' il n' y ait rien de mal à cela , il serait bon d' avoir un choix de bain aussi et nous avons pensé que quelqu' un autre pourrait avoir Les personnes qui ont bénéficié de cette mise en place sur leur séjour ont été plus aisément perçues.

Le parking gratuit est un bon prix, et l'emplacement est proche de la marche de la Severn Way, pour se promener à Deerhurst et au-delà. Le service et l'attention de tous les membres du personnel nous ont fait sentir très bienvenus. Le petit déjeuner était si précieux, et des portions énormes aussi! L'hôtel « pub chain » vous semble parfois être assez méchant et corporative, mais les chefs ici savent ce qu'ils font. Un ou deux petits grumbles peuvent être le bruit de la circulation, car notre chambre était sur la route ( si porté des oreilles et fine) et le lit très doux, mais bien, c'était vraiment bien. Nous resterions plus que probablement encore si nous avions passé par cette voie à l'avenir.
