From the moment you walk through the gates, you’re greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens that immediately create a sense of calm. We received the warmest welcome from the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a perfect stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had incredibly comfortable beds. The shower deserves a special mention – quite possibly the best hotel shower I’ve ever experienced! The rooms are also exceptionally well soundproofed, so once you’re inside, it’s wonderfully peaceful, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep. The location is ideal. It’s just a couple of minutes’ stroll to the harbour, bars, restaurants, and the water taxi to Zlatni Rat Beach. If you prefer to walk, it’s around 30 minutes along the beautiful coastal path. This end of Bol feels a little quieter than the centre, making it perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace. Breakfast is served on a beautiful sheltered terrace with plenty of choice. There are delicious homemade cakes (the banana bread is an absolute must!), along with freshly cooked eggs prepared however you like them. The real highlight, however, was the hospitality. Every single member of staff was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Nick, who consistently went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail is second to none. As a travel agent, I’ve stayed in countless hotels over the years, and Villa Giardino is genuinely one of the best. In my opinion, it deserves a well-earned 10/10. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would simply be the addition of a swimming pool—but the great news is that one is already being built and is due to open early next year. This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

Great location, view was amazing and room was clean and nice furniture ! -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant. - staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one . - my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been. - they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night . - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back. -

La chambre n'a pas de vue sur la mer. Il n'est pas comme un hôtel, plus comme une villa, la sécurité n'est pas très élevée, car il a 2 entrées. L'entrée de la piscine, tout le monde peut l'accéder sans problème. La piscine était assez sale, elle a beaucoup de bugs flottant, et elle n'a pas été régulièrement nettoyée par le personnel. Il a beaucoup de restaurants à proximité, et la qualité et le prix sont meilleurs que les repas touristiques de la vieille ville. Le premier jour, le deuxième jour, ils nous ont informés qu'il était réglé, mais il a encore un peu de problème de déclin soudain. Je pense que la Croatie n'a pas de réglementation concernant le contrôle à durée déterminée des ascenseurs, car elle n'a pas de certificat dans le ascenseur à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Si l'hôtel a montré 3 étoiles et le prix est plus bas, je le ferais. Le côté droit du balcon a un grand champ de tennis au niveau 2nd-floor, il est très proche, et il est assez annonçant que les gens puissent regarder facilement. La suite n'est pas de 4 étoiles. Le verrouillage de la porte frontale est nouveau, il est sûr, mais une installation d'électricité n'a pas été correctement installée, il semble que vous puissiez les tirer facilement. La boîte de sécurité électrique n'est pas fonctionnelle avec le mot de passe, l'hôtel a laissé une clé pour l'utilisation. Le petit déjeuner est bien géré pour les clients avec un tour précoce, ils peuvent organiser un petit déjeuner avec 1 fruit, 3 pains et 1 yogurt à 06h à 07h.

Nice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk to old town Now the bad The reception don’t really seem to care about the guest and are actually pretty rude Second day HK didn’t come when we asked reception we were told did we ask for HK ? Which was strange thing to say really when the day before we had it It then took hours to get the room cleaned and follow up visits for towels and soap On the last day we left our bags and arranged the free ferry pick up and drop bag service (which you don’t know about until you arrive) we asked what time would the bags leave so we can change first the said 3.30pm when we got back at 3 the bags were gone and they said sorry we were busy so we had to walk to the ferry in our swimwear as we planed to change It’s only a small matter but shows how they really don’t care and say what they like

Fantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and bus station. The resort is small but makes for a quiet holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. We were upgraded to the harbour suite which is a stunning room, although no balcony, didn’t bother us, just to make others aware. Shower gel and shampoo are Ritual branded and smell lovely. The food is fabulous, breakfast is buffet style and dinner (for half boarders) is chosen off the menu. Really high quality and believe they were Michelin recommended for 2024. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we were checking out very early. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. This was the case from reception, restaurant to the roof top bar. All were great. The rooftop bar was a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the ferry coming and going. The pool is covered and heated with a separate area for sunbathing. There’s also a couple of saunas you can use. The smallest gripe, it would be good to trim the top of the trees which blocked the view from the sun terrace. Would absolutely stay here again for a chilled and relaxing holiday.

Best location for visiting the old town. Delicious breakfast and an amazing view from the pool. Would highly recommend rooms with sea view. Bed is comfortable and rooms are big enough. Would also highly recommend to ask for a higher level room, view is impressive when you wake up in the morning.

L'hôtel Amphora est situé à proximité de la ville de l'hôtel Amphora, où nous avons été très accueillis et très accueillis. La chambre était très insensée, et la vue sur la mer était absolument remarquable vraiment un rêve. Une mention spéciale est adressée au personnel de la maison, qui étaient constamment aimables, attentifs et très utiles. Le petit-déjeuner buffet mérite une grande reconnaissance : il a été l'une des plus grandes, les plus diverses et les plus hautes qualités que nous avons jamais connues. En raison de notre séjour, nous avons décidé de l'étendre à une nuit supplémentaire, qui a été organisée rapidement et sans problèmes. Nous pouvons très recommander l'hôtel Amphora et nous reviendrons heureusement à l'avenir.☺️

La location est très bonne dans la région du palais, mais elle peut être très confondue parce que l'hôtel dispose d'une annexe différente qui est à quelques minutes à pied. Et il pourrait être difficile de trouver la localisation de l'annexe, car celui que je reste en nom de Villa Donbric ne pouvait pas être trouvé sur la carte de Google. En outre, puisque nous avons un couple de bagages importants, nous cherchons un hôtel avec ascenseur, mais l'annexe que j'ai séjourné n'a pas facilité un. (Je ne suis pas sûr que l'autre annexe a une ou pas) La chambre est plus petite que je ne l'attendais, c'est un peu désordre quand nous ouvrerons deux bagages ensemble. Le petit déjeuner est servi et bon, avec différentes options d'œufs. Je suggère que l'attention supplémentaire est meilleure lors de la réservation de l'hôtel sur la localisation et de la préoccupation des bagages.

Excellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!
