The room is clean, quite spacious in a Japanese standard (I stayed with the one in Tokyo in the same group and this is much better) sadly they don’t have onsen or public bath which is a bit disappointing. But the convenience of locating exactly next to the JR station is superb! Before you check in you can actually chill at the lounge with free drinks and nice view. quite relaxing with a good view of the Sendai city.
I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before.
Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here.
Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.
It took a bit of a walk to get to the hotel from Sendai Station especially with 3 large luggage. There are a lot of convenience store around I think the closest is 4 minute walk away. We had the Triple room, clean room and it’s slightly larger than most hotel rooms in Japan(Japan has small hotel rooms) but still a bit cramped for 3 people with 3 large luggage but we made it work. The bathroom is good, a bit larger compared to other hotels in Japan, the bathtub was surprisingly normal sized(larger than the typical Japanese bathtub). They only gave us 1 pillow per person (common in Japanese hotels). If you don’t have large luggage I think the hotel will fit you well. Anyway, we had a great stay.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai has a very convenient location! Right beside Sendai station (less than 5 minutes walk) and also near to Miyagino-Dori underground station!
Rooms are clean and there are a lot of amenities at the level 2 front desk to take for your stay. The staff are also friendly! They assisted me on a lost item after I left the hotel and delivered it back to Tokyo for me. Top service!
Everyone especially cleaning workers polite & helpful. Room small but locution great & toilet well equipped & clean. Lots of restaurants around. The local market nearby is a must-go. One minus though, counter staff can't easily understand our requests. Sendai is a great place but English is not a common tool for communication.
We booked one room on the first day it seemed like a Japanese bathroom that the floor is wet Probably not renovated yet The next day we got the room with modern bathroom
Our stay was pleasant the rooms were clean Thanks to google translate that even the front reception was not quite fluent in English we could communicate very well Very convenient location Right next to the main train station a lot of restaurants to choose from also next to the shopping mall There is a fish market nearby but most of the fish is for your own cooking Can not buy fresh sashimi there There is a seafood restaurant close to the market

KKennedy TownThe hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Matshushima Shoreline. It’s very close to the Fukuurabashi Bridge. All the major attractions in Matshushima Shoreline are within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Meals were good. You can order as many grilled ox tongue and shrimp tempura as you like in addition to what were already included in the dinner set. Staff are nice and helpful.

IInvitéVery nice hotel with speedy check-in and out. Hotel location is good with seven eleven nearby. Bed is comfortable and the room is spacious with spectacular views. The only comments the receptionists were so careless who directly turned down our request for purchase of some packing boxes without checking with the Concierge, the latter did sell packing boxes to the guests staying at the Hotel.
