Nous sommes arrivés vers 11h du matin. Notre chambre n'était pas encore prête et on nous a demandé d'attendre après 13h pour le check-in. Cependant, on nous a offert des smoothies et des serviettes pour la piscine. Le réceptionniste (j'ai oublié son nom) était très poli et accueillant. D'ailleurs, tout au long de notre séjour, il s'est montré très serviable ; on voit qu'il veille au bon fonctionnement de l'établissement. La vue est superbe. La chambre est propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire. Le petit-déjeuner est un buffet ; le choix n'est pas très vaste, mais tout est délicieux. On peut se rendre au centre d'Ella en longeant les voies ferrées, c'est très court, littéralement 5 minutes à pied. Nous sommes très satisfaits de l'hôtel et nous le recommandons.

Au début, notre confirmation de l'hôtel n'a pas été trouvée. Après quelques minutes, nous avons reçu nos chambres. Le pot était très gentil.

This hotel is amazing! We loved it, the only thing to note is that it’s quite a journey from Ella (around 45 mins). I would suggest staying at Ella for 1 night or so and experiencing that, then visiting and unwinding here. The staff, food and room were all fantastic.

Our recent stay at Mandara Rosen Yala was a genuinely pleasant experience. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, and the staff were consistently helpful, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast each morning provided a good start to the day, while the dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a fabulous spread that was a highlight of our evenings.
The hotel's serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and recharge, which was much appreciated after exploring the local area. We felt welcomed and valued as guests throughout our stay, thanks to the attentive service.
If our travels bring us back to Kataragama, Mandara Rosen Yala will certainly be our hotel of choice once more. It's an establishment that promises comfort and excellent dining experiences.

La fenêtre de la salle de bain est directement à l'extérieur. Il y aura des canneaux qui volent après l'ouverture de la lumière de la nuit et des petits canneaux qui entrent. La chambre peut être parce qu'elle est trop humide et sent trop humide. Cependant, le service de l'hôtel est très bon. Nous sommes allés à Safari le matin suivant parce que la carte de la voiture de la ville a pris du temps dans la cabine. Nous sommes revenus plus tard à l'hôtel. L'hôtel a également appelé pour nous demander si nous n'avons pas besoin de laisser notre petit déjeuner.

I had a wonderfull stay with a very friendly stuff. Salindu is a Artist in cooking i enjoyed is food daily. Adit the Man who is always there for me anytime . We had 2 deluxe double rooms booked. So far so good. On arrival it looked like they didnt know we where coming. I need to mention, we were the only 3 guest in the whole resort. Check in was a bit bumpy, but we managed. After arrival we were asked for sinner, we only had to choices. Rice and curry, or chicken rice.....there are kayaks and a pedal boats available, but they will charge u 3500rs per person for half broken down kayaks even we it never mentioend anything sbout payment. So we didn't go. We took the pedal boat and were still charged. Nice birds around tho. We saw tucans and pelicans but still with no one around they still charged us upon check out. Food was ok, better go for rice and curry. 2500rs per person😜
Breakfast is chicken on toast eith pineapple, no sauce, no water, just 3, pieces of fruit. Chsrged 1500rs
We had own own ssfari booked so can't say much about their service. Upon check out they try to charge 15usd for the single occupancy even tho i booked 2 double rooms. So overall i wouldnt recommend the place, mot sure why all reviews are rhst positve. Pool was murky, **** laying around everywhere and overall i found the olace 20usd cheaper as we paid, just one day before arrival.

我們訂的行政別墅，樓下一個大床，樓上兩個略小床墊。電動窗簾拉開就是幾乎全景玻璃陽台，可以看到外麪茶山。還能看到三孔橋和路過火車。
mini bar裏面給了幾十包茶包，都是免費，四瓶玻璃瓶水也是免費，酒和飲品收費。
游泳池很好看很出片，像無邊泳池。
一定要選帶晚餐的，晚餐是點菜式五道式，非常可口，也很特別，不含飲料。早餐也有一個很特別的脆皮蛋包，通往餐廳的路上能拍到很美的照片。
唯一就是蚊蟲比較多，整個行程唯一的兩個包就是在這裏晚上睡覺時候被咬的

TtorinessKeeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

IInvitéThis hotel is beautiful and modern. Location is great, easy to get to restaurants and shops outside of the hotel.
Staff have been very attentive and helpful. They clean the rooms promptly. The laundry service is great. The staff even ran to help us push the car up the hill when it was stuck.
Room service food has been very good too, their devilled chicken and pizza were the best.
Highly recommend staying with Te Dalu if you are visiting Ella.

JJiaxianRoom was clean & spacious. Abit hard to drive up to but the view makes up for it (you can see the railway tracks from the villa). Service was also great, very helpful. Hotel breakfast was very nice.
Very relaxing environment, recommend for those who want a little getaway.
