It was great! If there is one thing I need them to improve, it’s the restaurant service. Orders take a looot of time to get served even canned drinks. And you can’t tell me that it’s because of the occupancy. It’s a slow day when we checked in, not much guests around. Overall it definitely is a great place. Would come again. Would recommend. Just please improve the restaurant service!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. We stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.

Le ménage est très confortable et très confortable. Je ne peux que me plaindre de leurs réponses aux médias sociaux, téléphones et courriels, qui répondent très lentement ou pas. 1. J'ai demandé un transfert du Discovery Samal Welcome Center à leur Marina Wharf. Ils ont dit qu'ils enverraient une voiture à 1 h, mais il n'y avait personne. J'ai suivi par le voyage dot com messages, pas de réponse. J'ai appelé leur numéro mobile, décliné! Ils ont répondu qu'ils étaient en pause de déjeuner! Nous étions en presse parce que nous devons être dans leur cabine avant 14 h pour leur instruction. 2. Le transfert de bateau de la marine à la resort a été annulé en raison de grandes vagues. Je comprends. On nous a dit que nous allions voyager par terre. Nous avons conduit un camion, en ligne pour être transféré via RORO (oui, le transfert du navire) qui nous a pris 2 heures de friction juste pour nous redresser!! Nous avons fait un voyage de 3 heures pour arriver à l'hôtel. Nous sommes dans un resort de 5 étoiles mais ils ne peuvent pas faire quelque chose pour rendre l'attente/l'aménagement dans le RORO un peu plus rapide?? J'ai vu le conducteur payer 20/passenger pour conduire le RORO (non vérifié). Le site est très bien placé pour vous aider à trouver un accès à l'internet. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables.

Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. We will definitely book again soon. The price deal was good also. Thank you, Apo View!

La chambre est nettoyée chaque jour. La salle de bains et l'eau bouteilleée sont remplies chaque jour. Bfast est satisfaisante. Le restaurant de toit est un plus. Personnel - très aimable et utile. Il n'y a pas de micro-ondes pour chauffer les aliments. Vous ne pouvez pas apporter du pomelo à votre chambre en raison de politiques sanitaires. Le lobby est en rénovation, mais il est OK.

À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre. Elle paraissait très vieille et démodée, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et le Wi-Fi était inexistant. J'ai déposé une réclamation le lendemain matin à 8h. Il a fallu attendre deux soirs de suite pour que le problème soit résolu et qu'on nous propose une autre chambre. Cette nouvelle chambre était exceptionnelle. La climatisation fonctionnait. Elle était moderne, plus jolie et moins étroite que la précédente. On pouvait accéder au lit facilement des deux côtés, contrairement à l'autre chambre où le lit était collé au mur. Cette nouvelle chambre était donc bien plus agréable. Le seul bémol de l'hôtel était le Wi-Fi, extrêmement mauvais, voire inexistant. Mais c'était le seul problème que nous avons rencontré durant notre séjour. Tout le reste était parfait, de la propreté au personnel. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était correct, même s'il manquait de choix pour les palais occidentaux. Pour un Philippin, c'était suffisant.

I had a wonderful 4-day stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and guest-friendly. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of choices that catered to different tastes. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would definitely give Acacia Hotel Davao a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Davao who’s looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

It could have been a beautiful and relaxing stay if the resort had been properly maintained and kept clean. Unfortunately, there were quite a few flies around the room, which became annoying, and the smell of the room was not very inviting. The water from the faucet was also brownish in color and had a salty taste, which was quite disappointing. Nevertheless, I truly commend the courteous, friendly, and attentive staff who did their best to make us comfortable despite these concerns. The resort itself is beautiful and has so much potential. The craftsmanship of the furniture and fixtures is quite exceptional and clearly reflects quality and attention to detail. However, it seems that the resort’s cleanliness and maintenance have been overlooked. With the price we paid—which is even higher than some 5-star hotels—I honestly feel that the experience was not worth the cost. It is a beautiful resort, and with proper maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to the overall guest experience, it could truly live up to its worth.
