Hôtels avec bars à Unguja Ville et Ouest, Tanzanie

I have never stayed in a hotel where the service and experience progressively got worse each day. Everything just started going downhill during our second day you wake up in the morning and the first thing that happens is you are asked about joining one of the tours and offer through the hotel and they do that every chance they get and the moment they find out that you have a booking For a tour with another company and not through them, they will just little snide comments and make you regret your decisions. The second thing was the food you had to order lunch hours before and when you ordered for specific time you get to the restaurant you still have to wait at least another 30 minutes to get it, I ordered calamari on one of those days for eight and only got four small pieces of calamari and that was it just for small pieces of calamari and fried plantain so that was basically two dollars per calamari. There was an element of feeling unsafe because one of the mornings as I was walking up to breakfast there was a strange man just walking around and when I get to breakfast, one of the staff members there tells me that there’s a man who has been asking about me and looking for me and as I turned there, that man is standing right there and my question was, how are you letting this man on the premises, and what if you wanted to come to me and you guys are letting him walk around this entire place because I ran into him on the other side of the hotel so there was that as well which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and uneasy and unsafe. They didn’t spray any mosquito spray as it’s common in the area to in and spray the room with mosquito spray at the end of each evening they only did that first night and we had to keep them and each time it was met with just a sigh of inconvenience like we were inconveniencing them getting there difficult worth it and I think that is the one thing I can attest to being the better part of this entire establishment, but that aside the services awful. You will go hungry, we told the bar open a specific time but it wouldn’t open. Also they change their rules at one day. It’s OK to have a meal by the bar closer to the beach the next day you can’t do that but then you’ll see them. Send them food down for specific people so that was also extremely offputting, I can safely say I will never set foot in that place ever again. Also, the WiFi was bad

The location is at the quiet side if the Stone Town. Due to it is situated inside a small alley, the directions could be quite complicated and we were lost several times to head back to the hotel. Despite being assured that it's safe, we were tapped by few mischievous children when we passed by a school near the hotel. That said, the room and hotel itself was great. We particularly enjoyed the breeze at the open air loft, where we could view the sea and ships from far away. It was indeed relaxing. The historical bed and bath in the room made the experience so unique. The only downside was there was insufficient of hot water for the bath. The breakfast wise was in fact the best we had in Tanzania, not to mention the impeccable hospitality provided by the staff there. Special shout out to the helpful staff who assisted us with our luggage during check in and out. Bear in mind on the steep staircase up to the room and inside the room to the loft. It might not be suitable for those who have knee problem, as you literally need to climb up and down everytime to the washroom. Otherwise, it was quite a memorable stay.

J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de séjourner à l'hôtel Zanzi et je dois dire qu'il a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Dès mon arrivée, le personnel m'a fait sentir comme en famille, m'offrant un accueil chaleureux et un excellent service tout au long de mon séjour. L'hôtel est magnifiquement conçu, alliant confort moderne et touche de charme local, créant une atmosphère relaxante et accueillante. Ma chambre était spacieuse, bien équipée et impeccable, avec une vue imprenable sur les environs. Les équipements sont fantastiques, de la piscine rafraîchissante au délicieux restaurant sur place proposant une variété de plats savoureux. Ce qui ressort vraiment, c'est l'attention portée aux détails : chaque petit aspect a été soigneusement organisé pour garantir une expérience mémorable. L'emplacement de l'hôtel Zanzi est également parfait, offrant un accès facile aux attractions à proximité, ce qui en fait une base idéale pour explorer. Que vous soyez en visite pour affaires ou pour le plaisir, je recommande vivement l'hôtel Zanzi pour un séjour confortable, relaxant et mémorable !

La chambre, le balcon, la vue depuis la chambre et le restaurant sont vraiment sympas. Mais il n'y a qu'une seule chose qu'ils doivent améliorer dans leur service client de réception. La chambre que j'ai signée lors de mon enregistrement et la chambre que j'ai vraiment reçue étaient différentes. Ils ont changé de chambre sans préavis. J'ai demandé pourquoi ils ont dit que c'était la même chambre à l'intérieur. Mais c'était totalement différent. La chambre changée n'a aucune intimité du tout. Nous devons fermer la fenêtre pendant le séjour. Et j'ai demandé un départ tardif lors de mon enregistrement. Ils m'ont dit de vérifier le dernier jour le matin. Le dernier jour, j'ai redemandé un départ tardif de 2 heures. Ils ont refusé ma demande même sans vérifier le système. Dites simplement NON. Je suis très déçu de leur attitude. Et lorsque j'ai vérifié sur le site, il restait beaucoup de place. Comme tout le monde le sait, Zanzibar est le lieu de vacances. La plupart des hôtels 5 étoiles dans les lieux de vacances, ils proposent des heures de départ très flexibles en raison de l'heure du vol. Personne ne mérite d'avoir 5 étoiles en matière de service client.

The hotel is beautiful. It is located at the heart of Stone town. If you like luxury than this hotel is for you. I’m definitely going to go back. The food and the friendly staff made my stay extra special.

Great location in Stonetown. The hotel room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was great. Areas for improvement is the average service at the hotel. Room AC wasn’t cooling the room well and front desk said they didn’t have any alternative rooms that night. Plumbing issue was not addressed promptly when brought up with the front desk. All day dining room service ends early 10pm and there are no places to buy any food if you wake up with a case of the munchies

Lovely hotel, room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. My safari was cancelled and the staff provided other tour options, many thanks for that! There is no phone in the room, I'd like to suggest even having a pager in the room would be helpful. Also no wifi in the room I think that should be an option. The food was great and I enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend!

Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Il est un peu loin de la ville de pierre, mais bien si vous réservez un guide de voyage qui fournit le pick-up, il ne sera pas un problème.

Conformément aux attentes, la position de l'hôtel est bonne, mais il n'est pas facile de conduire et il faut prendre une route de pierre. L'espace de la chambre est légèrement visible, parce que l'ancienne relation entre l'espace de bâtiment, la fenêtre est basiquement directement sur le bâtiment, réservé tard, il n'y a pas d'autres types de chambre à choisir, il y a déjà une préparation psychologique préalable. Le toit est un restaurant, le paysage est très beau et le petit-déjeuner est délicieux. Il est presque deux heures de tôt, la réception aide à coordonner l'hébergement en avance. Généralement, il est approprié pour passer une nuit dans la ville de Pierre.
