If you have an early morning flight departing from Hobart Airport and do not have a car (for example, if you have already returned your rental car), I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Even though it is close to the airport, you may face serious transportation issues like the one I experienced. The hotel is located about 1.8 km from Hobart Airport. By car or taxi, it takes around 5 minutes. However, if you walk, Google Maps shows it takes approximately 25–30 minutes. On 13 December 2025 at around 5:00 PM, I asked the front desk staff to help me pre-book a taxi with 13CABS for the next morning, using my Australian local number from my eSIM. After the booking was completed, I received an SMS confirming my 13CABS request, including the pickup date and time, as well as a tracking link. On the morning of 14 December, I checked out very early at 5:45 AM. At that time, the front desk was closed, so I returned the key card at the counter. I then opened the tracking link from the SMS to check the taxi’s location. I could see a car on the map, but it appeared to be quite far away. I decided to wait. As the pickup time approached, I went outside to wait at the drop-off area, but no taxi arrived. I checked the tracking link again and found that the car was no longer coming. At 5:54 AM, I received another SMS from 13CABS saying: “Hi this is 13 CABS. We are sorry for the delay, we hope to have a vehicle to 1 Holyman, CAMBRIDGE shortly. Do you still require a taxi? Please reply Y/N.” I replied “Y” immediately. After waiting another five minutes with no further updates, I started to feel very anxious. At that point, I met a couple from Hong Kong who were experiencing the same issue—the taxi they had pre-booked also did not arrive. I then called the after-hours reception number provided by the hotel. The staff member was very helpful and advised me to contact 13CABS directly to make a new booking. When I called 13CABS, the operator made a new booking for me and sent another SMS confirmation. However, after waiting for quite a while, there was still no taxi. I asked the Hong Kong couple, and they told me their taxi was supposedly on the way. About five minutes later, a taxi finally stopped at the drop-off area. The couple checked with the driver—it was not their booked taxi. I then asked the driver, and it was not booked under my name either. However, the driver explained that he was waiting in the airport queue and had received a call from head office instructing him to pick up passengers from Mantra Hobart Airport and take them to Hobart Airport. In the end, both the Hong Kong couple and I shared that taxi. The driver charged me AUD 21 and charged the couple AUD 21 as well. In conclusion, staying here is risky if you have an early morning flight, even though the hotel is close to the airport. You may encounter serious issues arranging transportation in the early hours and risk missing your flight. That morning, while I was waiting at the drop-off area, I also saw a man walking from the hotel toward the airport, pulling his suitcase. Unfortunately, it was raining at the time, and the weather was cold, making the situation even worse.

La chambre était accueillante. Le propriétaire est super sympa, le petit déjeuner et le café faits maison sont à mon goût, et me recommande également un superbe voyage. Rentable! Grey est toujours satisfait !

Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. La chambre était grande et nous avons reçu des nettoyages quotidiens. Le mur de la salle de bains était un peu de pensée, comme nous pouvions entendre les gens à côté de la porte, mais la salle était complètement bien - ne pouvait pas entendre quelque chose. Je recommande à tous les types de voyageurs et vous resterez certainement encore si nous revisisons Hobart !

What were all the experience was very good and we enjoyed it a lot and it was a nice place to live in an entire Hobart and view was amazing

Nous avons réservé deux chambres (4 personnes) pour assister à une réception, puis nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel pour prendre un repas. Nulle part sur le site Web ou lors de la réservation, il n'est mentionné qu'il n'y a PAS de restaurant ou de bar ouvert le dimanche (petit déjeuner jusqu'à 9h30, mais uniquement annoncé dans l'hôtel lui-même). Pas de télévision par satellite (comme mentionné sur le site Web). Si j'avais su qu'il n'y avait pas de nourriture disponible le dimanche, j'aurais réservé dans un autre hôtel à Launceston. Merci

Un excellent hôtel pour séjourner pour explorer le parc national de la freycinet. Vous pouvez profiter de beaux soirs du balcon de l'hôtel ou de la plage juste à côté de l'hôtel. Vous pouvez prendre le croisière de la baie de vinaigre de l'hôtel jetty. Profitez de mon séjour de deux nuits. Tous les snacks et boissons sont inclus.

Il est préfectueux de rester avec des enfants. La chambre est petite, mais elle est super propre. Nous avons pris des perles et des plumes. Nous avons nourri le poulet et les poulets, les ovins, les heures et la vache. Ma fille les aime vraiment!!! Le personnel de la réception est super jolie! Ils ont donné à ma fille de manger des animaux de nombreuses fois et encore nous donnent un visage bienvenu! J'ai vraiment apprécié ça ! Il n'y a qu'une suggestion pour faire qu'il n'y ait qu'une machine à laver et qu'un sec ne suffira peut-être pas quand certains groupes arrivent.

In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks at Mary Mary, another fantastic venue within the hotel. The bar had a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring both classic favorites and innovative creations crafted by skilled mixologists. Each drink we ordered was expertly made and beautifully garnished, adding to the overall experience. Overall, our stay at the Tasman Luxury Hotel was a true testament to hospitality at its finest. The combination of exceptional service from Tayla and Ebony, along with delightful dining experiences at Peppina and Mary Mary, created a memorable getaway that we will cherish for a long time. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the outstanding care we received throughout our visit.

Very convenient location for day tour pick ups. Good sound proofing in the room as well, given that it’s by the street. If you keep the windows shut you won’t hear a sound. Space was quite tight for 3 people. Basically not much space to open your medium size luggages, and even the bathroom there’s not much space. Overall a good place to stay if you want convenience and on a budget.

Le paquet que nous avons réservé incluait le petit déjeuner, et il était bon. Ils nous ont donné un menu à choisir, et la nourriture a été faite fraîchement pour commander – chaud et délicieux. Je les aimé surtout sourd. Le personnel était gentil, ami, et nous faisait sentir vraiment confortable. Globalement, cet hôtel nous a répondu à nos attentes et nous a donné un séjour merveilleux.
