IInvitéVery nice hotel, clean, tidy and plenty of attentive staff. We used as a base for exploring Jersey so didn't really use the hotel facilities - except the breakfast which was excellent - although for us it would have been nice if breakfast had started a little earlier maybe 7:30am? (it ran from 8am to 10am which was OK). Late on the last evening when packing we found we couldn't open the room safe as it had malfunctioned, it was after 11pm, but it actually showed the hotel staff in a very good light as the receptionist tried her best to help, the restaurant manager said opening the safe was the priority, and eventually after about twenty minutes the porter did manage to open the safe (”mechanically” - but that's another story!), so all was good ...... the problem was the electronic device - hotel staff were excellent and problem was solved! Overall very good, would stay again.

Le menu de la cuisine était très chaud et sur le côté précieux pour ce qu'il était. La chambre était confortable mais les tapis décoraient et la salle de bain datée, qui était claire des photos et d'autres commentaires, donc il n'était pas une surprise.
Malheureusement, il y avait un film en plastique qui était laissé sur le sol de la salle de bain à l'arrivée indiquant qu'il n'avait pas été complètement nettoyé.

KKimi.DaiI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Jersey Hotel in a stunning Seaview room, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The room offered breathtaking views of the sea, making each morning a delight to wake up to. The hotel exudes elegance and comfort, with impeccable service from the staff who were always attentive and friendly. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing stay. I would wholeheartedly rate my experience as 5 stars and highly recommend the Grand Jersey Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable getaway.

IInvitéWorst experience ever in a restaurant. On our last day here, I was having my breakfast till 10 am when the breakfast time came to an end. I asked one of the staff if I can take my tea to my room, the staff said yes. Other customers are taking drinks and food to home as well. While I was walking out of the restaurant, another staff walked past me and stared at the tea in my hand. She then rolled her eyes dramatically and let out a loud, dismissive ”tsk” sound.

EEmeritaI booked for a family room for me and my friends . We are so delighted we didn’t expect it to exceed on our expectations considering that it’s a 3 star hotel but went beyond.Room is clean esp the bathroom ,beddings are done neatly and clean.All room amenities are replaced generously,But the best are the staff from reception down to the restaurant .All are nice,approachable and helpful.We will surely comeback to stay.Kudos to all the staff 💯

IInvitéHotel was clean and conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Be aware that the extra beds are very short, so if your child is tall, they may be hanging over the end!
The food was good and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was always being topped up. Would definitely stay again.

IInvitéOnce again an excellent stay at the Somerville Hotel, over Christmas. This hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the location cannot be beaten. I can’t wait to return, for another visit, around April 2026.
Thank you to all staff, for making my visit so memorable, once again.

IInvitéExcellent hotel, front staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & everything you would need, ( a fridge would have been handy)
10-15 minutes walk to town & sea front. Breakfast fine & plenty of choice, good evening menu.
Spa was excellent with infinity pool, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, sauna & steam room at no extra charge.
Would definitely recommend.
