CCharlee78Booked a room and evening meal. Check in was straightforward and receptionist was professional. Gave advice on breakfast time and where room was located.
Room was spacious and thankfully not too hot. Thw bathroom had an extractor fand that kept.going about 15 mins after the light had been turned off!
Bed was really comfy, not too soft and duvet was warm. Plenty of pillows :) There was 2 free bottles of water and a coffee machine with pods, I did not use this but water in a fridge was appreciated.
Towels were clean and bathroom radiator was hot so towels were nice and warm.
Free toiletries in the bathroom but I had taken my own so didn't use them.
The lights in the hallways have motion sensors so the hallway are a bit dark when you first walk into them.
The evening meal was with my work group and results varied. Most people enjoyed but personally I didn't. The soup I got was half cold and the other side of the bowl was warm. The mushroom stroganoff was lacking taste and the apple and cinnamon crumble was most cinnamon. I have eaten here before and enjoyed but was not impressed this time. It was quite busy and the staff seemed overworked as no one came to ask if we were OK or if we needed drinks and I did have to wave people over a few times.
The reception area is also the bar. Its obviously a popular pub as it was crowded but maybe they should have more staff on, the same people seemed to be dealing with check in, diners and bar drinks. Just seemed a bit disorganised. The drinks here were nice and decently priced. They also do large 250ml wine, unlike a lot of places nowadays.
Breakfast the next morning was great, good coffee and hot food.
Check out was simple, just hand your key card back.
I would stay here again but might not have the evening meal!

IInvitéThis hotel was located just off the motorway, and fairly easy to find. Upon arrival/check in we were informed of our room number and given our key card, however no information was provided. ie (check out times, breakfast times, any of the bar/restaurant details, pool/fitness centre details. We had to go back and forth to reception through out to get the information we needed. Fortunately the staff were friendly and welcoming which made easy to approach them.
Room was nice, bit cramped even for a king privilege room. Not much space to walk, too many unnecessary chairs. Room and bathroom was clean. Mini fridge was nicely stocked up with water and soft drinks for free. TV in the room was a smart tv, allowed us to watch Netflix via screen mirroring which was excellent. Bed was comfortable with multiple pillow options. Sockets and USB charging points on both sides of the room, great for charging multiple devices. Full length mirror and cupboard space to hang up clothes. Nice gown and slippers presented neatly on the bed.
We did visit the pool facilities on multiple occasions during our stay. It was just a medium size. With a separate jacuzzi and steam room and sauna. Pool water was nice temperature, slightly warm which felt really nice. Lighting in the pool area was poor, quite dimly lit. Lockers in changing area needs a padlock, as we didn’t know we didn’t take out. Some chairs are available on the pool side which we were able to put out things.
Dining room was nicely laid out with ample space to move around. Breakfast had multiple options including vegetarian options available on request. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lowfield Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, including a sofa. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep in a quiet and peaceful setting.
The inn features a lovely common area and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The scenery is stunning and perfect for enjoying long walks along the border between England and Wales.
The pub itself is a true highlight—offering a great selection of traditional cask ales and a very welcoming beer garden where you can enjoy the evening sun. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are genuinely helpful and accommodating. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as pencils and paper provided for children.
As for the food: it was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wonderful mix of traditional English pub fare and Indian dishes, all prepared with creativity and care. The starters were delicious, the mains were generous and satisfying, and the desserts were absolutely indulgent. The children’s menu was also well thought out and very appealing. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wide selection and very generous portions—no one left hungry!
There’s also plenty of parking space, which made everything even easier.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

IInvitéLes Feathers sont bien situés au centre de Ludlow et sont un ancien bâtiment plein de charme. Cela signifie cependant aussi qu'il s'agit d'un petit coup de coq à l'intérieur, ce qui la remet en difficulté pour trouver votre chemin autour des longs corridors de branchement - un cauchemar certain en cas d'incendie.
Le parking était plein quand nous sommes arrivés, bien qu'il soit beaucoup plus grand que je ne l'attendais, mais il y avait un parking de conseil derrière l'hôtel et seulement une courte promenade, gratuit de 6h à 8h, qui est très pratique.
Notre lit était grand, propre et confortable et la chambre était bien réservée: installations de thé et de café avec une grande variété de thés et de lait; eau potable complimentaire dans le mini-frigo; table de fer et de fer; beaucoup de soutettes, y compris USB, Le service de la chambre est très confortable et vous pouvez vous amuser à l'hôtel.
Nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'utiliser les zones de réception en bas, mais elles semblent magnifiquement présentées et sont pleines de caractère, offrant un espace très attrayant pour avoir un verre ou un repas.
Le personnel de la réception était agréable et professionnel.

MMillie HafOn Trip.com said free parking, but got charged £5 for parking upon arrival. Good budget hotel, you pay for what you get really. Dated rooms, but clean enough. Hotel location is at a services, so no public transport etc, but good location if you have your own car. Easy check in and check out.

La maison est située dans des paysages rares, avec la paix et le charme scénique. Le site est plein de jolis jeux de table, dans la chambre et dans le hall, Sky et Netflix pour des soirées confortables, et nous avons aimé regarder les oiseaux en se détendant dehors. Le petit déjeuner a été servi avec vue, et il était excellent frais, délicieux et magnifiquement présenté.

IInvitéBrilliant hotel right in the town centre, easy to find just off the motorway. The swimming pool was lovely and warm with good showers and lockers. The breakfast was superb with as much as you can eat. The view from our lovely with green grass and trees. We would love to come back.

The room was warm, the bedding/towels were clean and breakfast was good. We couldn’t connect to WiFi during our stay until we were in the car park ready to leave

RReediNous avons réservé le discours de la Skole de Shrewsbury et nous avons quitté la ville, de sorte que la ville entière a été réservée. Il est un hôtel où le personnel aime dire oui. Ne pas mentionner le caractère de l'hôtel lui-même. Il s'agit d'un mélange d'architectures du 12ème, 15ème et 17ème siècle qui forment un lac de chambres détaillées couvrant le bloc. Le restaurant est un hôtel de qualité, et le restaurant est un hôtel de qualité.

IInvitéI could be A1 if the facilities were maintained but unfortunately the spa is starting to look and feel shabby. Lockers broken, tiles missing, saunas and steam rooms not working, hot water temperamental, circa 70% of light bulbs not working (hydrospa area) ... Just missing the touch that would elevate the place.
Rooms are clean and welcoming, our bed had been wellness and the mattress sagged in the middle, but it was comfy and we didn't complain (rm 224). Couldn't control TV, controller was faulty. Nice view across canal and fields.
Overall, it is worth the price but could be so much more!
We enjoyed our stay, we will be back for an overnight break away, we dont expect.much to change, just wish it would!
