Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Shropshire, Royaume-Uni

Booked a room and evening meal. Check in was straightforward and receptionist was professional. Gave advice on breakfast time and where room was located. Room was spacious and thankfully not too hot. Thw bathroom had an extractor fand that kept.going about 15 mins after the light had been turned off! Bed was really comfy, not too soft and duvet was warm. Plenty of pillows :) There was 2 free bottles of water and a coffee machine with pods, I did not use this but water in a fridge was appreciated. Towels were clean and bathroom radiator was hot so towels were nice and warm. Free toiletries in the bathroom but I had taken my own so didn't use them. The lights in the hallways have motion sensors so the hallway are a bit dark when you first walk into them. The evening meal was with my work group and results varied. Most people enjoyed but personally I didn't. The soup I got was half cold and the other side of the bowl was warm. The mushroom stroganoff was lacking taste and the apple and cinnamon crumble was most cinnamon. I have eaten here before and enjoyed but was not impressed this time. It was quite busy and the staff seemed overworked as no one came to ask if we were OK or if we needed drinks and I did have to wave people over a few times. The reception area is also the bar. Its obviously a popular pub as it was crowded but maybe they should have more staff on, the same people seemed to be dealing with check in, diners and bar drinks. Just seemed a bit disorganised. The drinks here were nice and decently priced. They also do large 250ml wine, unlike a lot of places nowadays. Breakfast the next morning was great, good coffee and hot food. Check out was simple, just hand your key card back. I would stay here again but might not have the evening meal!

The staff were very friendly and helpful we forgot our toothpaste and toothbrush and we asked at front desk and got given a dental kit also ran out of tea and sugar. Swimming pool was beautiful

A Wonderful Stay at the Lowfield Inn – A Hidden Gem on the English-Welsh Border We had a fantastic stay at the Lowfield Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, including a sofa. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep in a quiet and peaceful setting. The inn features a lovely common area and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The scenery is stunning and perfect for enjoying long walks along the border between England and Wales. The pub itself is a true highlight—offering a great selection of traditional cask ales and a very welcoming beer garden where you can enjoy the evening sun. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are genuinely helpful and accommodating. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as pencils and paper provided for children. As for the food: it was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wonderful mix of traditional English pub fare and Indian dishes, all prepared with creativity and care. The starters were delicious, the mains were generous and satisfying, and the desserts were absolutely indulgent. The children’s menu was also well thought out and very appealing. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wide selection and very generous portions—no one left hungry! There’s also plenty of parking space, which made everything even easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

Les Feathers sont bien situés au centre de Ludlow et sont un ancien bâtiment plein de charme. Cela signifie cependant aussi qu'il s'agit d'un petit coup de coq à l'intérieur, ce qui la remet en difficulté pour trouver votre chemin autour des longs corridors de branchement - un cauchemar certain en cas d'incendie. Le parking était plein quand nous sommes arrivés, bien qu'il soit beaucoup plus grand que je ne l'attendais, mais il y avait un parking de conseil derrière l'hôtel et seulement une courte promenade, gratuit de 6h à 8h, qui est très pratique. Notre lit était grand, propre et confortable et la chambre était bien réservée: installations de thé et de café avec une grande variété de thés et de lait; eau potable complimentaire dans le mini-frigo; table de fer et de fer; beaucoup de soutettes, y compris USB, Le service de la chambre est très confortable et vous pouvez vous amuser à l'hôtel. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'utiliser les zones de réception en bas, mais elles semblent magnifiquement présentées et sont pleines de caractère, offrant un espace très attrayant pour avoir un verre ou un repas. Le personnel de la réception était agréable et professionnel.

Room is nice and clean. Location is great, just next to the main road. Carpark is not free, charges £5 if not booking the room through their website. Rmb not to buy their breakfast, it’s just breakfast boxes that can be bought cheaper at the hotel. It is also convenient to just have breakfast at restaurants next to the hotel. There’s no lift, so need to take luggage upstairs.

I could be A1 if the facilities were maintained but unfortunately the spa is starting to look and feel shabby. Lockers broken, tiles missing, saunas and steam rooms not working, hot water temperamental, circa 70% of light bulbs not working (hydrospa area) ... Just missing the touch that would elevate the place. Rooms are clean and welcoming, our bed had been wellness and the mattress sagged in the middle, but it was comfy and we didn't complain (rm 224). Couldn't control TV, controller was faulty. Nice view across canal and fields. Overall, it is worth the price but could be so much more! We enjoyed our stay, we will be back for an overnight break away, we dont expect.much to change, just wish it would!

Rebecca était une étoile absolue, sa communication proactive et toutes les informations utiles qu'elle avait partagées nous ont fait sentir confiants que nous étions en place pour un séjour agréable et que nous étions vraiment. La maison est située dans des paysages rares, avec la paix et le charme scénique. Le site est plein de jolis jeux de table, dans la chambre et dans le hall, Sky et Netflix pour des soirées confortables, et nous avons aimé regarder les oiseaux en se détendant dehors. Le petit déjeuner a été servi avec vue, et il était excellent frais, délicieux et magnifiquement présenté.

Où commencer avec ceci ? La première chose que j'ai demandée est d'annuler, car j'étais descendu avec des symptômes de COVID. Il a été plus facile de se rendre et il a décidé de voyager. À l'enregistrement (ne pas sur le site, photo jointe) je n'ai rien dit sur la piscine qui était hors service. Il me semble qu'elle était. Aucune offre de remboursement total ou partiel. Rien. Heureusement, Trip a pris une bonne volonté. Parler par courriel à quelques personnes (nommée ci-dessous) et dire fondamentalement ”ce qu'elles ne peuvent faire” et ”il est faute de voyage” que le site web n'a pas révélé que leur piscine était hors d'action depuis décembre. The hotel is a little tired and in need of refurbishment in places. The staff were very friendly, especially considering they were having to work on NYE! The room was warm, the bedding/towels were clean and breakfast was good. We couldn’t connect to WiFi during our stay until we were in the car park ready to leave

La chambre est fatiguée, quelques objets endommagés - goutte-bouchon, manche à porte très libre, siège de toilette, lumière flirtant, crampes sur le tapis. L'ascenseur n'est pas actuellement fonctionnant, donc pas idéal avec des sacs lourds de vols d'escalier. Le petit déjeuner est très confortable et vous trouverez un bon endroit pour être juste au centre-ville.
