Perfect layover hotel, so close to terminal A, only about 8 minutes in the free shuttle they provided the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner was really good, especially the springbok carpaccio!
I’d recommend it to anyone needing to be near the airport.

Onomo Hotel’s proximity to Nelson Mandela Square Mall is a stone throw away, you literally just cross the small road from the mall exit point straight into the hotel
Their breakfast was good however there’s need to add on variety and vegetables!
The rooms are small but clean linen. The TV’s are not smart ones that in some rooms there’s no internet TV accessed.
The bathrooms comes with a humid kinda odor that l think emanates from the pipes but they will be clean
WiFi connection was not as good had to have room changes done.
Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, morning shoes and morning gown, they don’t offer all that!
Reception ladies were not as welcoming even upon enquiring!
The concierge, waiters and housekeeping team were very hospitable!

L'hôtel est spécialisé pour les voyageurs qui viennent d'atterrir à O.R. L'aéroport de Tambo ou celui qui va partir quelque part part le lendemain matin. Il faut environ 10 à 15 minutes pour y parvenir depuis la récupération des bagages et environ 10 minutes pour atteindre la gare routière pour le transfert vers les safaris dans le parc Kruger. Les chambres sont simples et très calmes. Il n'y a pas d'eau dans les chambres standards. Le petit-déjeuner commence à partir de 4 heures du matin.

Firstly, I was put into a room that I did not book and was told I cannot change to a room that I had paid for because the hotel was overbooked. The front desk, eventually, moved me once I had pointed out that it was a health hazard to stay in the room they assigned to me because they had painted it that very day and I could still smell the paint fumes.
After being moved, I was put into a room that I actually paid for. The toilet leaked and the shower was blocked.
I will say though that the front desk was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could.
All in all, it was not a good experience and I won't be staying again.

Avantages : Excellent emplacement. L'hôtel dispose également d'un lave-linge et propose le petit-déjeuner et le dîner.
Inconvénients : La direction est parfois désorganisée, commettant des erreurs récurrentes en matière de prolongation des chambres et de distribution de nourriture. Les assiettes du petit-déjeuner sont parfois mal nettoyées.
En résumé : Cet hôtel convient davantage aux voyageurs d'affaires qu'aux touristes.

It was great to stay!
Very comfortable, clean and spacious than I expected. Especially, the breakfast was amazing. Had many options to take than I thought. Hot and cold foods and different kinds of cheese, breads, jams and even smoked salmon sashimi!
Also, they have upgraded my room into king bed room. The room was clean and big enough. Amenities were soap, body lotion and 3 in 1 bodywash(+shampoo and conditioner).
If you want to stay quiet room, I would recommend the 1st floor.
The parking in the basement made me feel more safe.
Definitely I'll recommend to others and will come back!

Если берёте номер с завтраком и ужином, то будьте внимательны, ужин на номер 800 ZAR, завтрак на номер 450 ZAR. Если возьмёте больше этой стоимости, то Вам придется доплатить! Wi-Fi работает хорошо, без проблем.В номере нам не хватало только тапочек.

Sécurité : Il n’y a pas beaucoup de caméras de surveillance dans cet immense hôtel ; si quelqu’un pousse la porte en pleine nuit, on ne sait pas de qui il s’agit.

IInvitéUpon arrival, check-in at reception was smooth. We were provided with our room key and directed to our accommodation, which required us to drive to the other side of the estate. However, when we reached the room, the key did not work. We walked back to reception, where we were informed that a network issue had prevented the key from being properly programmed. The receptionist, who was very helpful, offered to accompany us to the room and opened it using a master key. She assured us that a functioning key would be delivered as soon as the network was restored.
Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned. The window sill was sticky with what appeared to be beverage spills, the floor was dirty, the bathroom mats were not fresh, and most concerning, there were rat droppings on the window sill, on the floor behind the curtains, and behind the door. I contacted reception to request housekeeping and asked to speak with a manager, as the condition of the room was unacceptable. A housekeeping staff member arrived, but I requested that cleaning not proceed until the housekeeping manager assessed the situation. The manager quickly confirmed that the room had indeed not been cleaned and that there were clear signs of rodent activity. She apologised sincerely, asked us to wait while the room was cleaned, and said she would escalate the matter to the rooms division. While waiting on the terrace outside, we noticed a mouse in the bushes, which explained the droppings found inside.
After the room was cleaned, the manager returned, apologised again, and informed us that a complimentary bottle of wine had been arranged for us. We told her about the mouse we had seen and expressed that we did not feel comfortable staying in that room. She went back to speak with the rooms division, and we waited in the bar. An hour later, she returned with keys to a new room and directed us there. The replacement room was clean, though the entire experience made for a rocky start to our stay.
The following day, after breakfast, we returned to our room to find that the terrace doors had been removed and two maintenance staff were working. This came as an unexpected surprise, as no one had informed us that repairs would be taking place. We decided to return to the bar to allow the work to be completed. As we were celebrating a birthday that day, the housekeeping manager kindly arranged for our room to be decorated with a birthday message.
From that point onward, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the exceptional customer service at the restaurants, bars, and spa. In particular, we would like to recognise Moses, Regal, and Tebogo at Kingsley Restaurant; Sibongile at Granatas; and Mandy at the spa for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made our stay memorable.
Overall, despite the challenges we experienced upon arrival, we had a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making my mother’s birthday special.

IInvitéI stayed here for 2 weeks, and I enjoyed myself immensely! I mostly keep to myself and don’t go out, as I was just here to relax and unwind. However I felt very safe and comfortable with my stay. The room is clean and smells amazing! There was a cute glass balcony which was pleasant as I could step out a bit and enjoy the great weather. The bathroom was stocked, I had a good selection of teas and coffees. I was very satisfied and impressed with my room selection. Although I think next time I will choose the apartment hotel since I always bought my own food 😄. They have a free shuttle to and from Nelson Mandela Square every hour which I utilized. They have a pool which I could see from my balcony and a gym that was opposite my room, however I did not utilize either of those facilities. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place

TTraveling TanI recently stayed at this hotel which left me disappointed due to their shuttle service limitations. While the overall experience was average, the lack of a 24-hour shuttle service proved to be a significant inconvenience, particularly for early morning flights.
One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was because of its location and a shuttle service to the airport. However, upon checking in, I was informed that the shuttle operated only from 7 am onwards. This was highly inconvenient as my flight departure time was earlier. I approached the receptionist to inquire about alternative options, hoping for some flexibility or assistance, but was met with an unhelpful suggestion to order an Uber instead.
Having previously stayed at other hotels near airports, I had come to expect a 24-hour shuttle service as the norm. It was disappointing to find that this particular hotel did not offer the same level of convenience. Given the additional cost associated with using ride-hailing services like Uber, this unforeseen expense was an unwelcome surprise.

IInvitéHotel is rated at 5star but the amenities are quite average. The standard king size room is smaller than I have experience in some other hotels if that range. You do not find water glasses in the room. Room service is very slow and sometimes your call will just keep transferring between room service and reception if you needed something. If you ordered food in your room, you have to make payment immediately. It does not amount up to check out. There is only one restaurant, one cafe in the hotel. You can walk up to nearest restaurant for your food that is 800m away.Pool is there but you have to carry your own towel. The day we arrived, there was a birthday party around the pool with loud music. We avoided going to pool side. Shoe shiner is in the lobby and if you get your shoes cleaned he needs to be paid as compliment and that complement begins with 100rand minimum. To me it’s an average hotel and ok for a couple of days. It had some conference going on so extra crowd was also in the lobby for the two days we stayed If you are looking for a luxery experience, better choose another hotel. This hotel is ok for not more than two days of stay.

IInvitéJ'ai récemment passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel et, dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été moyenne. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et le personnel était sympathique, ce que j'ai apprécié. Cependant, la chambre aurait pu être un peu plus moderne. Bien que propre, le mobilier semblait un peu usé et la salle de bain, bien que fonctionnelle, présentait quelques petits défauts, comme un robinet qui fuyait.
Le lit était confortable, mais je l'ai trouvé un peu trop dur. Les équipements de l'hôtel étaient standard : il y avait une salle de sport et une petite piscine, même si je n'ai pas eu le temps de les utiliser. Le Wi-Fi fonctionnait bien et je n'ai rencontré aucun problème de climatisation ou de chauffage pendant mon séjour.
Un point fort : l'emplacement. Il était plutôt pratique pour mes besoins, à proximité de quelques restaurants et boutiques, sans être exceptionnel. J'espérais un peu plus du restaurant de l'hôtel, car la carte était un peu limitée et la cuisine était correcte.
En bref, ce n'était pas un mauvais séjour, mais je n'ai pas été déçu non plus. Si vous cherchez simplement un endroit où dormir sans vous attendre à quelque chose d’extraordinaire, cet hôtel fera l’affaire.
