This was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. If you are traveling with family, visiting Jiuhua Mountain for the first time, or simply looking for a place where you can truly relax and feel supported, this is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, worry-free experience.

Avantages : L'emplacement est très pratique, le service est chaleureux et attentionné, et le petit-déjeuner et le dîner sont très copieux et délicieux. Il y a un sèche-chaussures dans la chambre, ce qui m'a été d'un grand secours par temps de pluie. Nous avions réservé une chambre triple supérieure et on nous a donné celle du deuxième étage. Bien qu'il s'agisse du deuxième étage, elle est en fait très basse et la fenêtre donne sur un mur (photo 1). Cependant, la vue depuis la fenêtre sur les photos promotionnelles était magnifique, et je pensais que pour ce prix, la vue serait au moins un atout majeur. En m'allongeant sur le lit le plus éloigné, je sentais une odeur de moisi. Chaque chambre est accompagnée d'un majordome, et le service est très enthousiaste. Après le check-in, j'ai reçu de nombreux messages, proposant un thé de l'après-midi, des jus de fruits, un service de fauteuil massant, des spectacles (je n'ai rien fait de tout cela car il fallait sortir de la chambre, j'étais trop fatiguée et voulais juste me reposer tranquillement). Finalement, un panier de fruits a été livré dans la chambre. Cependant, l'odeur de moisi la nuit était très désagréable, et je n'ai pas bien dormi. Je ne peux vraiment pas donner la note maximale, désolée ☹️ Je remercie quand même pour le dîner copieux et le service chaleureux ~

Le Shilin Hotel est idéalement situé près de l'arrière de la montagne, ce qui est parfait pour les itinéraires de randonnée depuis Yungu. Il est également très proche de Monkey Watching the Sea et de Shixin Peak. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres, les lits sont très doux et confortables. Elles ne sont pas petites et disposent de chauffages électriques. La douche et les toilettes sont séparées, et il y a même des toilettes intelligentes. Bien que ce soit en montagne, tous les articles de toilette sont bien fournis. Le personnel de service est très agréable et a répondu avec enthousiasme à toutes nos demandes. Des doudounes sont fournies dans la chambre, ce qui est très pratique et chaud pour admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil. Le petit-déjeuner coûte 15 par personne, et pour un tel prix au sommet de la montagne, la qualité est excellente. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Mon amie et moi avons séjourné ici une nuit, début février, lors d'une excursion dans la région du mont Huangshan, en basse saison. L'équipe de Shanyu Life and Design a été formidable pour organiser nos transports avant notre arrivée. Nous avons vraiment apprécié leur réactivité et leur disponibilité ! À notre arrivée, un thé et une collation nous ont été offerts. Le chaton était adorable et très joueur. Le service était excellent, les repas copieux et nutritifs. Nous avons commandé du poisson puant et des travers de porc le soir, et des nouilles le midi. La chambre, avec ses deux lits comme demandé, était très agréable et moderne. Seul bémol : la douche/baignoire n'était pas séparée (ce qui serait peut-être plus pratique pour les familles), et il y avait un peu de poussière sur les abat-jour. L'éclairage était un peu capricieux : certaines ampoules restaient allumées toute la nuit et il manquait l'interrupteur de la lampe de lecture. Les équipements supplémentaires, comme l'enceinte, les chaussons et le nécessaire de pique-nique, étaient un vrai plus. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'espace et l'intimité, avec une vue sur la rue. Les espaces communs offraient de nombreuses places assises pour les groupes dans la salle à manger et de beaux espaces extérieurs à découvrir. Une expérience formidable ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

A Little Gem in Huangshan, with Hospitality We Will Never Forget The Bamboo Hotel was one of the most wonderful surprises of our trip. From the very first moment, we found a warm, elegant, and beautifully designed atmosphere, with every detail carefully thought out. It is a true little gem, a charming design hotel where everything reflects taste, care, and attention. But what truly makes this place special are the people. The owner and his entire family are incredibly kind and genuine people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, looked after, and truly cared for. Their sincere hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They helped us from the very beginning, arranging a driver for us, carefully explaining how to organize our excursion to Huangshan Mountain, and even suggesting what we could do the following day. The owner’s father was so kind that he personally accompanied us to the bus station so we could reach the mountain. Every evening there was always a thoughtful gesture waiting for us: a drink offered after dinner, a coffee, a friendly conversation, and above all, the feeling of being guests of a family rather than simply customers of a hotel. We had a truly wonderful stay and will never forget the hospitality we received. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

L'environnement est très agréable, et l'hôtel est situé à proximité du centre de transfert de la porte sud. Ils proposent un service de navette, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable après une longue randonnée en montagne quand on est épuisé. La réceptionniste était très chaleureuse. Comme il pleuvait et que nous ne voulions plus gravir le Mont Huang, elle nous a recommandé d'autres itinéraires. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, avec des installations intelligentes que les enfants ont adorées. Le seul inconvénient était le bruit, un peu fort.

Très bon hotel! Bien placé a 500m a pied de l'entrée du parc Huangshan. Le personnel est très gentil et donne des indications sur comment se rendre au parc et quels parcours faire. Ils ont également gardé les bagages pour la nuit où nous avons dormi dans les montagnes.

Pour tout hôtel, l'emplacement est primordial, et bien que celui-ci soit situé juste à côté du parc d'attractions, du parc aquatique et du lac Chao, la signalétique est mauvaise et les allées sont mal entretenues, empêchant toute circulation fluide. Une navette vers les sites touristiques locaux devrait être mise à disposition. Le petit-déjeuner, bien que proposant un grand choix, était de qualité médiocre. Un choix plus restreint, mais bien préparé et savoureux, aurait été bien meilleur. La climatisation était déplorable : elle soufflait un air humide et ne parvenait que rarement à rafraîchir suffisamment la chambre. L'hôtel affiche des publicités pour son restaurant, mais celui-ci était fermé lorsque nous nous sommes renseignés. Si un service est indisponible, il est inadmissible de le mentionner. Il s'agit de publicité mensongère. Si, à cause de cette publicité mensongère, je dois dîner ailleurs, vous devriez au moins prendre en charge les frais de taxi. Vu l'hôtel et le nombre de clients que j'ai pu observer, je suis presque certain que vous n'occupez que les étages 8 et 9. Si tel est le cas, chaque chambre devrait être nettoyée avec le plus grand soin. Notre salle de bain était dépourvue de savon dans le distributeur et d'après-shampoing. Nous étions dans une chambre non-fumeur, mais le panneau en résine « Interdiction de fumer au lit » était toujours là. Il était extrêmement sale, comme s'il n'avait pas été nettoyé depuis des semaines, voire des mois. Un robot mignon est censé livrer les commandes. Malheureusement, il ne sait pas attendre que les gens sortent de l'ascenseur avant d'y entrer, ce qui a bloqué une famille de quatre personnes avec leurs bagages pendant quelques minutes. J'ai eu l'occasion de discuter avec plusieurs membres du personnel et je constate que la baisse du taux d'occupation et les horaires décalés ont affecté cet établissement. Il y a cependant des marges de progression.
