We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. Pour un séjour au sommet du Mont Huangshan, le Baiyun Hotel est sans aucun doute le meilleur choix. Son emplacement est imbattable en montagne : en une dizaine de minutes à pied, on atteint directement le Pic de la Lumière, évitant ainsi de devoir marcher longtemps dans l'obscurité pour admirer le lever du soleil. L'expérience de se lever tôt pour voir le lever du soleil est particulièrement facile et agréable. La chambre est propre et bien rangée, très bien isolée, et l'eau chaude est fournie 24h/24, de manière stable et abondante. Pas de souci d'approvisionnement en eau en montagne. La température y étant basse, le chauffage au sol permet de sécher facilement les vêtements humides après la randonnée, ce qui est extrêmement pratique. Le service de conciergerie est très attentionné : ils planifient à l'avance des itinéraires de randonnée personnalisés en fonction de votre condition physique et de votre programme, ce qui évite bien des tracas de préparation. Le buffet de l'hôtel propose une grande variété de plats de viande et de légumes. Après une randonnée, on peut y refaire le plein d'énergie et se détendre. L'ensemble du séjour est serein et confortable, ce qui en fait le choix idéal pour un hébergement au sommet du Mont Huangshan.

My friend and I travelled here while sightseeing the Huangshan Mountain area on off-peak season in early February and stayed here 1 night. Shanyu Life and Design team were amazing at assisting us with organising transport from before we arrived. Really appreciated the quick response times and helpfulness! When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome tea and snack, the kitten was super playful and great fun. Overall, the service was excellent, the best wholesome meals with good portions and nutritient rich. We ordered the stinky fish and pork ribs at night, and had a lunch with noodles. The room was two beds as we had requested and was a really nice, modern fitout. Only thing was the shower/ bath not in a separate room - might be better for families, and some dust on the lamp shades but otherwise we were very happy. The lighting was also a struggle as some soft ones stayed on all night and the light switching was missing ones for the reading lamp on each side. Extra amenity like the loud speaker, slippers, picnic gear were all bonuses. Appreciated the large spaciousness and privacy we had, with a road view. The communal areas had lots of seating for groups in the dining and offered more outdoor areas to explore. A+ experience, would return!

Comme il pleuvait et que nous ne voulions plus gravir le Mont Huang, elle nous a recommandé d'autres itinéraires. La chambre était propre et bien rangée, avec des installations intelligentes que les enfants ont adorées. Le seul inconvénient était le bruit, un peu fort.

Le Shilin Hotel est idéalement situé près de l'arrière de la montagne, ce qui est parfait pour les itinéraires de randonnée depuis Yungu. Il est également très proche de Monkey Watching the Sea et de Shixin Peak. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres, les lits sont très doux et confortables. Elles ne sont pas petites et disposent de chauffages électriques. La douche et les toilettes sont séparées, et il y a même des toilettes intelligentes. Bien que ce soit en montagne, tous les articles de toilette sont bien fournis. Le personnel de service est très agréable et a répondu avec enthousiasme à toutes nos demandes. Des doudounes sont fournies dans la chambre, ce qui est très pratique et chaud pour admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil. Le petit-déjeuner coûte 15 par personne, et pour un tel prix au sommet de la montagne, la qualité est excellente. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Très bon hotel! Bien placé a 500m a pied de l'entrée du parc Huangshan. Le personnel est très gentil et donne des indications sur comment se rendre au parc et quels parcours faire. Ils ont également gardé les bagages pour la nuit où nous avons dormi dans les montagnes.

Bon endroit pour se détendre le week-end! L'environnement de l'hôtel est calme et élégant, le design est très sensé et la vue à l'extérieur de la fenêtre est également très bonne. La chambre est plus large que la photo, la lumière est superbe et la chambre est propre et hygiénique. Avec une salle de sport, un petit-déjeuner riche et délicieux, un service de fantaisie du personnel soigneusement servi et un séjour très confortable. Vous pouvez vous débarrasser complètement ici et profiter de temps de repos rare.

L'hôtel est magnifique et impeccable, et le personnel est incroyablement accueillant. Un ancien étudiant international, parlant coréen, m'a même appelé pour m'aider si je me perdais, ce qui était vraiment très gentil de sa part. L'hôtel est absolument splendide. Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui visitent Huangshan. Situé dans la vieille ville de Tunxi, il offre une vue imprenable dès qu'on sort, et un Starbucks et un KFC se trouvent juste à côté.
