The hotel was overall very good value and certainly worth the stay due to its excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location. However, the main drawback is the parking situation. Parking is limited, with only a small number of spaces available across the road and on the nearby one-way street. This can create unnecessary stress when trying to leave a vehicle safely and securely. While this may not be a concern for all guests, for some it can be a significant issue, particularly when staying for several days. The parking area is also used by non-residents who visit the hotel for drinks or meals, meaning spaces are often occupied by patrons rather than hotel guests. As a result, residents may find themselves repeatedly checking for available spaces when visitors leave, rather than being able to park properly and confidently upon arrival. This uncertainty can detract from an otherwise very positive hotel experience.

La pression de l'eau dans la douche est faible mais l'eau chaude Les chambres se sentent profitables d'être mises à jour quelques ******* . *TV à distance n'a pas éteint la télévision a dû monter et pop main derrière le dessus et éteindre le socket. **Les cheveux sur la baignoire ne sont pas les miens! **Aucun sec de cheveux évident. ***Le service de chambre appelé deux fois extn non répondu a été par réception transféré au fromage de saumon creme bar sur brun commandé arrive rapidement malheureusement sur le pain blanc. G&T rose délicieux. Petit déjeuner. Bienvenue chaleureuse et explication offerte par l'équipe. La chambre est très confortable et vous avez une chambre très confortable.

C'est un hôtel fantastique. Une jeune fille agréable dans le bar a fourni des lunettes et du glace. La chambre aurait pu être plus chaude, mais je suis toujours froide. C'est un joli hôtel, merci.

Impressive old Mill with working wheel featured inside. We were in the top floor of the main building and whilst not the most up to date bedroom accommodation it was clean and comfortable with workable facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast buffet with both continental and full English breakfast options. Would definitely recommend and worked for us due to location to friends and family. Great value for money.

A superb, independent hotel set in the heart of Bury. Dating back to the 1600s, this place is full of rustic charm and character but still offering all modern conveniences you would expect of a 4* hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we were lucky to be upgraded to one of the apartments set in a former blacksmith's. This beautiful suite of rooms, set over two floors was idyllic with everything we needed. Breakfast was superb, cooked to order, with seconds on offer. We highly recommend The Abbey Hotel to anyone looking for accommodation with a personal touch, a stones throw from all the amenities Bury has to offer.

A great location for beach at Aldeburgh & the little Village of Thorpeness and good access for Southwall and Sutton Hoo. Area is beautiful English countryside. Accommodation is exceptional, clean & spacious with a very accommodating hostess Karen. Fantastic breakfasts. Would choose again if back in the area

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Les accueils que nous avons reçues du récepteur étaient trop chers et très loin d'être amicals. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec un personnel amical.
