Family’s Most Favourite Hotel in the UK – Unforgettable Staycation Moments Holiday Inn London–Shepperton by IHG has always been our family’s most favourite hotel in the UK. Whenever my son’s school term break or a long holiday begins, this is the first place we choose to refresh ourselves and truly enjoy relaxing family time. During the final days of the Easter Bank Holiday, we once again had an unforgettable stay here, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our wonderful experience began at reception, where a professional and welcoming receptionist, Mr. Waleed, assisted us. He kindly helped register our car plate for overnight parking and informed us that the swimming pool facility renovations had been completed. He also thoughtfully let us know that my son Matt could enjoy the pool until 7 p.m. Thanks to his clear explanation and kind arrangement, we had plenty of time to fully enjoy the excellent swimming pool, Jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. It was a perfect way for both adults and children to relax and unwind. After our swim, we were quite hungry. At that moment, Restaurant Manager Mr. Nadeem warmly approached us and started chatting with my son. Matt was absolutely delighted—especially because Mr. Nadeem remembered him from previous visits. His kindness made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Even while waiting for our meal, we felt cheerful and at ease. At the end of dinner, he took time to speak with us again, encouraging Matt in his studies and sharing that his wife is a wonderful school teacher. These sincere and personal interactions truly touched our hearts. We also followed sightseeing recommendations from other hotel staff and visited nearby attractions such as Walton-on-Thames, which made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Once again, Holiday Inn London–Shepperton made us feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated as a family. This hotel is not just a place to stay—it truly feels like a second home to us. Nous vivons plutôt localement mais nous avons décidé de rester ici, car ma fille et ses amis prom était à la propriété locale du vin à l'hôtel, nous voulions faire de nos filles prom un peu plus spécial. Le restaurant est un établissement de qualité, et le restaurant est un établissement de qualité. Je recommanderais et je resterais certainement ici.

Le 2e jour, nous avons été amoureux de la place, tous les personnels de toutes les sections étaient brillants. La piscine intérieure, la piscine extérieure, 2 saunas, la piscine de plongée de glace, les courts de tennis, l'orchard et la zone de jeu pour enfants. Le restaurant principal dispose d'un buffet avec environ 30 options, vous pourriez essayer un peu de tout. Enfin, je vais juste mentionner que mon partenaire a eu quelques traitements dans le spa et a dit qu'elle avait une excellente expérience.

Nice cosy cottage room with underfloor heating in bathroom, a bath and separate shower cubicle with overhead shower, a wide range of complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Lots of small but fast spiders, but expected for a cottage with lots of garden space. Service was friendly and welcoming and you can request a golf cart ride to and from different locations on the Beaverbrook grounds. 4 different restaurants to choose from. Breakfast included. Relatively expensive (3 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 desserts and a bottle of water was £200) but also expected for a place like this. Service was great. Booking a hotel room for the night includes use of the spa, no matter which online platform you book through including trip.com. Spa was a nice experience, though felt more like a health club that had spa facilities rather than a dedicated spa as I thought they would have more than 1 of each type. 1 sauna, 1 steam room, 1 jacuzzi (only 1 button worked), 1 indoor swimming pool, 1 outdoor heated swimming pool and a kids pool. Felt like they could have cleaned the leaves in the outdoor pool. Lots of choice for massages and other treatments. Gym was nice and modern. Towels, slippers and robes provided. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hotel charmant. Situation idéale pour les courses mais aussi agréable si non. Beau paysage et très calme. Parking facile avec beaucoup d'espace. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. La chambre était très belle au 2ème étage face au golf, si fabuleux View. Très propre. Lits très confortables et la qualité supérieure du lit avec les meilleurs cuillères jamais. Les toilettes sont de bonne qualité avec un long odeur durable sur votre peau. Les toilettes sont gras, blancs et fluffy. Nous avions de grandes fenêtres comme des portes de patio, de sorte que les portes de patio pouvaient être ouvertes à grande échelle. Le petit déjeuner. La salle à manger était à nouveau très relaxante et très propre. Les options alimentaires étaient abondantes et de bonne qualité et de bonne quantité. Le café était d'une machine , mais il a utilisé du café frais, des haricots lors de votre choix. Les prix du bar étaient très bons, je ne me sentais pas trop payé et le personnel du bar était rapide et efficace. Globalement un superbe séjour.

Every room and common area is kept in pristine condition, and you can really tell the housekeeping team takes massive pride in keeping the place sparkling. Between the spotless interiors, the stunning grounds, and the warm atmosphere, everything about this stay is a total ten out of ten. You’ll honestly be planning your next trip before you’ve even checked out.

L'hôtel est joli et petit, mais les hôtels européens le font. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner coûte 12 livres et se trouve à 15 minutes en taxi du centre du Royaume-Uni. Il suffit de demander de l'aide à la réception. Vous ne pouvez pas prendre un bus ou marcher car la porte de l'hôtel est une voie sans piétons, ce qui est très dangereux. Pour en revenir à la cérémonie de remise des diplômes, l'hôtel de la ville est soit complet, soit trop cher, alors je l'ai mis un peu plus loin. Non loin se trouve le nouveau coin des terres, le paysage est super bon, vous pouvez y conduire en 5 minutes

The hotel itself is set in stunning grounds, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Our room was beautifully presented—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. It’s clear that attention to detail has been prioritized. One of the standout highlights was the spa. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was tranquil—perfect for unwinding. The pool area was spotless, and the treatments were first-class, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Dining at the hotel was also a fantastic experience. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with a smile. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in the quality of their service. Overall, I’m delighted to say that Voco Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa has more than redeemed itself in my eyes. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!

Disappointing experience. I booked a room expecting a double bed and bathtub but it turned out the only rooms with bathtubs had single beds. After having a room changed, the room I was given hadn’t been cleaned so I had to change for a third time. The amenities are limited. When asking for a razor, they didn’t have but also couldn’t tell me where to buy one nearby (There’s a terminal next to it with a boots and WH Smith, surely that’s not hard to say). Not sure about things such as toothbrushes and toothpaste but maybe that’s because I live in Asia? The French restaurant was just as disappointing, they failed to provide me the full dinner that was offered on the menu. On the plus side, the third room I had was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff in the French restaurant were also excellent.
