The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has good amenities. The rooms and common areas were kept tidy, and I appreciate the effort put into maintaining the property. However, my biggest concern was the Wi-Fi connection. I stayed for a week and experienced connectivity issues throughout my entire stay. As someone who relies on internet access, I ended up using my mobile data most of the time because the Wi-Fi was unreliable. I also found that some of the staff in the dining area were not very welcoming. While not everyone was unfriendly, a few crew members came across as dismissive and seemed to have an attitude when interacting with guests. Customer service is an important part of the hotel experience, and I hope management can provide additional training to ensure all guests feel welcomed and valued. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and cleanliness standards, but the Wi-Fi issues and inconsistent customer service affected my experience.

À partir du moment où nous sommes arrivés, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par le personnel, dont l'amitié, le professionnalisme et l'attention nous ont fait sentir confortables tout au long de notre séjour. L'hôtel lui-même est récemment ouvert et il montre dans l'excellent état et la propreté de la propriété. Les chambres étaient exceptionnellement propres, confortables et soigneusement conçues, offrant une atmosphère relaxante et confortable après de longues journées d'exploration de l'île. Nous apprécions également les équipements de qualité fournis, qui ont ajouté au confort et à la convenance globale de notre séjour. L'une des principales attractions de cet hôtel est son emplacement incroyable. La piscine était également très bien entretenue et offrait un endroit idéal pour se détendre et se détendre. L'hôtel a été très bien servi, avec des repas délicieux que nous avons vraiment appréciés tout au long de notre séjour. Un autre avantage majeur est la localisation de l'hôtel, car il est convenablement à une distance de marche à Cloud 9, ce qui le rend très accessible aux clients qui souhaitent explorer l'une des attractions les plus populaires de Siargao. Le centre de la ville de Sargao est un hôtel de qualité idéale pour les personnes qui visitent le Siargao. Nous nous réjouissons de rester ici pour notre prochaine visite à l'île.

Honnêtement, je m'attendais à mieux de cet hôtel, surtout que des amis me l'avaient recommandé. Le personnel était désagréable et peu accueillant. Ils étaient même un peu hautains. Au lieu de nous détendre après notre massage, mon copain s'est retrouvé avec une épaule crispée. Je suis d'origine philippine, mais je n'ai pas grandi aux Philippines et j'ai un passeport étranger. À l'arrivée, on m'a demandé une pièce d'identité valide en philippin. J'ai bien sûr présenté mon passeport, mais la réceptionniste a levé les yeux au ciel dès qu'elle a vu mon passeport, au lieu de considérer cela comme une simple « pièce d'identité ». J'ai ressenti beaucoup d'amertume et de jugement de la part du personnel, car l'anglais est ma langue maternelle et je parle très peu le philippin. Leur attitude envers moi a donc complètement changé : ils pensaient que je faisais semblant ou que j'étais prétentieuse.

I recently stayed at Amarah Hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, courteous, and always ready to assist. The check-in process was smooth and quick, setting a positive tone for my stay. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed — comfortable beds, fresh linens, a strong Wi-Fi connection, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and toiletries. One of the highlights of Amarah Hotel was the ambiance — modern yet homey, creating a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The restaurant served delicious food, with a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was especially satisfying, with both local and international options available. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated near key spots, making it easy to explore the area. Transportation was accessible, and there were shops and cafes nearby. Overall, I highly recommend Amarah Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

Pros: • hotel is new, they only opened last August • room was very spacious • beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable • bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • airconditioning was superb • room has a balcony (that we didn’t use) Cons • because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂 • location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road • breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough. All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

I ordered Room with ocean view, but they didn’t see it. And they was full. They make it up with motorcycle for the few days here. Amazing location. Amazing brake fast

Place was okay for a family stay. It's not a private villa anymore since there's a restobar inside. I love the staff though, friendly and always smiling and accommodating. Place is also near establishments and you can just walk around. Cloud 9 is like less than 10 mins away. There are dogs inside which I didn't like because they could just have pooped and peed anywhere. Not ideal for kids to play on the sand. There are also pearl sellers and as much as I feel bad, it just ruins your peace and quiet as they dont stop bothering you until you buy. Overall still thinking of going back here in case there's another trip in place. :)

Impress with the service here from start to finish. Very clean and well maintained accommodation worth the $$ staying here. Security was 24hr. Pool and views. I do wish the price for the restaurant was less, as it would attract more customers food was good and the sour drink was my fav. It was quiet when we went which was relaxing and chill. If you’re looking for that vibe! Just on the backroad.

It has been the best vacation ever ! Their staff is just amazing, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable, convenient and easy. The location is just perfect. We have all the main points and restaurants closer so, we just needed to walk and no need to use the scooter or tuk tuk. Philippines people is awesome, we were in Coron before but, after visiting Siargao we are sure that we have to come back. If you want to come to Siargao please don’t have any doubt to choose Isla Cabana resort.
