Best Western Launceston is a basic, but clean, safe, comfortable well-priced hotel in the centre of Launceston. It's well positioned for the Botanic Gardens and monkey enclosure, right in the centre of the city, and not too far from the river. The room had everything you'd need, or expect, for this price. But what raised the place for me was the service. On a badly delayed flight I didn't arrive until after midnight, but the night manger appeared swiftly, helped me check in, and never once complained about being dragged to the front desk in the middle of the night.

The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

I am very disappointed as I thought I booked a room in Wrest Point but instead it was in adjacent property called Motor Inn. I felt that I have been cheated as the picture in the booking details showed me Wrest point Towel and not Motor Inn. I thought the room was called Motor Inn as I have not been there to know the existence of Motor Inn. When I queried about it, they said it was the agent's (trip.com) fault . To move to the main tower will cost me an extra of $80. I felt I have been conned and they should have placed the Motor Inn building photo instead of the tower of Wrest Point in their website for booking. (It is deceptive marketing - show you a ferrari for sale and got a lemon after you have paid for it) Motor Inn is an old building and does not have lifts to the room we were allocated and being retirees , we have to carry our bags up to 2 flights of stairs. On top of that, the room walls were not sound proof and you can hear every customer slamming their doors and flushing their toilets. I thought we have booked the room with the sea view instead there were only bushes as a window view. It was so embarrassing when I thought I could request for a room on a higher floor in wrest tower for good views but instead shown out of the door to an old adjacent building call Motor Inn. In all its websites and advertising, there is not 1 photo to show Motor Inn as Wrest Point . It has always being the tower used to promote the sale of their rooms. The Bistro food is poor quality and costly. We order from the caviary and the food came out to be cold and dry. We wanted to try the other 2 restaurants Kwan Ho and the one on the 17 th floor in the main tower but were told they were close. I thought being a top notch hotel, their restaurant will be open 7 days instead they are closed 2 days.( sun and mon). - the days we were there sat,sun,mon) They have a fantastic location but sad to say they don't have the marks of a 5 star hotel. The first picture is what I thought I booked but the second picture is actually what I got. The 3rd picture is what is in the website for booking and the last picture is what you get.

La chambre d'hôtel était compacte mais fonctionnelle, très propre, plein d'espace de couvercle. Malheureusement, pas de temps pour utiliser la piscine, mais semble très invitant. Cena en 2 nuits à l'hôtel Restaurant - M. Good Guy. Délicieux repas. Personnel très ami, surtout quand je voyageais seul. Le personnel de la réception était très accueillant et utile. Globalement, un séjour le plus reposable et agréable merci.

Le lave-linge et les bouteilles de shampooing sont écrasées pour agir, ça ne semble pas simple? Matisse très confortable. Piloter une petite ferme pour moi mais j'ai eu le choix de 5! Vous obtenez une chaudière et c'est ça. Frige ouvre une façon, la porte de couvercle ouvre l'autre façon. Pas amicale. Mal de tasses. Pas de couteau ou de fourchette. Il fallait réserver quelques nuits la semaine prochaine mais il y avait une 50 extras par nuit. Je pensais que c'était un peu inutile pour un client retour réservant la même chambre. Nous avons eu deux nuits ventées et la porte glissante de la veuve rattling était suffisante pour vous garder réveillée. Il faut être dressé. Location à la ville. Excellent distance de marche.

The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

Je n'ai pas dû rester la nuit car mon problème d'eau a été corrigé, je suis rentré chez moi. Bon prix, mais je ne resterais pas ici. La chambre s'étoffe de fumer de cigarettes, même si la propriété n'est pas fumée.

Le lit était confortable et il y avait gratuit Wi-Fi, pour 85 $ par nuit, si près de tout et présenté de cette façon, je recommande heureusement à quiconque que je connais et restera à nouveau quand nous sommes à nouveau en bas. La seule recommandation que j'ai pour les propriétaires/administrateurs est que le cube de douche lui-même est très petit et je suis un grand gars et une grande construction, donc le mouvement vers la douche était un peu dur, mais sinon c'est ça. Merci d'avoir séjourné, mon partenaire et je vous reverrai sur notre prochaine séjour. 👍

Fantastique chambre. Grand et confortable avec une salle de bains massive. Très confortable lit et cuisinières. Nous avons une chambre à coins et nous voudrions demander cela à nouveau pour notre prochaine séjour. Le petit déjeuner inclus dans notre séjour a été l'un des meilleurs petits-déjeuners de buffet que nous ayons eu. Personnel amical et efficace. Pas de parking sur place, mais de parking valet disponible. Excellent séjour.

Le voyageur est un grand endroit pour rester à proximité de l'aéroport et pour une courte visite à Sorell. Vu votre proximité avec l'aéroport et la principale autoroute, les chambres sont belles et tranquilles, ce qui vous rend confortable.

Car park is ground floor; check-in is 1st floor, but easily accessible via stairs and lifts. Free car parking outside; small charge for undercover parking. Reception was perfect - I arrived early and was offered a room immediately or a short wait for an upgraded room. Rooms are large, warm, comfortable, and stylish. The cafe and restaurant are very busy and Grain restaurant food is delicious. Highly recommended.

It’s is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. Environment was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time walked in the door.

Nous avons séjourné ici en septembre 2022 et nous avons aimé notre visite. Les chambres sont très confortables avec de grandes zones autour des lits avec une chambre à déplacer et à mettre des pièces et les salles de bains étaient très propres et modernes. Le personnel était toujours utile et amiable et l'hôtel était très bien situé à quelques pas du centre-ville.

Il est facile de transporter à quelques pas du centre-ville et du parc urbain. La chambre n'est pas bien nettoyée. Non seulement la poussière est accumulée, mais il y a aussi un bouchon d'eau sur le toit, donc quand je vais à la réception en empruntant des outils de nettoyage, je veux savoir si le détergent utilisé pour nettoyer reste ...... absolument un bouchon d'eau. J'ai fait mes sauters avec quelques cheveux courts et blancs. Peut-être n'ai-je que nettoyé où je pouvais voir. En outre, quand je suis revenu dans la chambre, le odeur de la cigarette était plein, peut-être parce que beaucoup de gens fumaient dehors de l'immeuble. Je ne sais pas parce que j'ai vécu à bas prix dans ma campagne, ou parce que c'est toujours sale, mais c'est bon marché.

An iconic piece of Launceston history. A beautiful building containing beautiful furnishings throughout - particularly loved the wood furniture. Great location. A warm welcome from friendly, helpful Jude was the start to a most enjoyable stay. Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. All good! Highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné ici en famille de cinq dans une chambre familiale avec suite privée. Nous avons vérifié 15 minutes de plus tôt, mais la dame était heureuse de nous donner les clés de la chambre. L'hébergement est situé en haut d'un pub/pokies. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, vous devez marcher deux pistes et transporter vos bagages. Il y avait une suite privée qui séparait la chambre de lit que vous avez été parfaite pour mes parents. La chambre était propre et les larges fenêtres autour de la chambre ont fait une bonne vue de l'extérieur de laquelle mon fils pouvait regarder. L'hôtel se trouve à quelques pas de la place des courses, des restaurants, un KFC, des Jacks Hungery, Coles et Woolworths. Le seul problème était que notre chambre était située sur une route principale occupée et que la nuit vous pouviez entendre tout le trafic passer par, nous n'avons pas dormi de bonne nuit. Nous avons également réservé via booking.com deux boissons gratuites de bienvenue pour deux clients à l'arrivée mais nous n'avons pas reçu cela.

Les pods n'étaient pas trop sonneux, mais je suppose que c'est ce que vous obtenez généralement dans les auberges. Cependant, vous avez la vie privée à un certain degré. Personnel utile nous donne des options de parking. Tout en tout un divertissement et unique séjour d'une nuit! Désolé, pas la plus grande photo!

Had a two night stay, extremely obliging reception staff, arriving earlier than anticipated but were able to allow an early check in. Appreciated with the extremely cold weather. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. A great choice of Cafes close by for a coffee & snack. Plenty of places close dinner options. A place to remember for my next trip to Hobart. Will be a return traveler to Mayfair whenever in Hobart.

Le motel était recommandé par les parents pour notre première visite tazmanienne. Nous avons choisi une chambre de reine au sol et, franchement, c'était le seul véritable déception de notre voyage. Il est très important de trouver un établissement de qualité pour les enfants qui ont un sac à dos, mais pour deux voyageurs adultes qui ont des bagages, la petite chambre est totalement inadaptée. Le lit est censé être la grandeur de la reine, mais nous doutons que le lin était trop petit pour le cadre. Nous ne nous arrêterons pas encore et si vous avez un motre que un sac à dos, ne choisissez pas les chambres au sol.

Lorsqu'il s'agit d'écrire un manuel sur la façon de détenir et d'exploiter un petit hôtel boutique, le gestionnaire Robert Devine et son équipe à The Rivulet doivent l'avoir écrit. Nous avons été améliorés à la ''Alonnah Suite'' depuis une chambre de terrain pour notre séjour de deux nuits à la mi-décembre. La qualité des chambres était excellente. Le lit était super confortable et la salle de bains hors exception. La chambre est très calme, avec une vue magnifique sur le Mont Wellington, à partir de la salle de bains de pied de claw. Le petit déjeuner était à mourir. Une table de produits frais est tout présenté avec goût.
