Room was lovely and no complaints. However, breakfast was an absolute shambles. Waiters/waitresses trying to seat people at table where clearly people had their phones/drinks on. We went at 9am and considering breakfast shuts at 10:30 you’d expect there to be good options… wrong, when we went up, they had no beans bacon, a few sausages and barely any scrambled eggs left, no sliced bread by the toaster.
Stay here a few weeks and had a much better experience. Checkin told we are full and you have to take a twin bed. Then asked to pay, however I had already prepaid. The room had a window which was an internal view. Bath struggled to stay filled as issue with plug. The light above the bath flashed on and off for a while then stayed off. The attiutide from reception was poor, we are full , nothing we can do!
If you are looking for some quiet time away, this is a peacefully located hotel.
The ambience is calming, and the reception team is welcoming, not to mention the many look-out spots to watch the boats in the harbour.
I came to this hotel 10 years ago on a girls' trip, and as i was looking for somewhere to go again, i came across this hotel and thought i would mark my 10-year anniversary. And i must say nothing has changed. Having said that, i do think it's time for a renovation as the decor is becoming dated. The exterior of the building, along with the windows, needs cleaning and fresh paint. The cleaning team needs to pay closer attention to details. Also, when a room have been cleaned and locked up for some time, they need to bare in mind that it will acquire dust built up, and upon issuing it to a guest it need to be freshen up.
Overall, it's a lovely, quiet place away from the rush and hustle of london, and i would recommend it, and i will visit again in the future!

IInvitéMy family had a great time in Hampshire Court Hotel and Spa. The reception staff were excellent and super friendly. I could not thank them enough for moving us to a bigger room as I made a mistake of booking a smaller room for me, my husband and daughter. The room that we were moved into had a large balcony, nespresso machine, drinks on the house and comfortable bed
The location is perfect and superb. It’s a 4 minute walk to a shopping centre and 5 minute walk and 10 minute drive to Festival mall. You’ll definitely won’t run out of options on what to eat. But most importantly, there are so many interesting place to visit nearby like The Vyne National Trust and Basingstoke Aquadrome to name a few
The facilities such as swimming pool and spa facilities were clean, well maintained provide excellent service. Overall, we enjoyed our 2 night stay for a very reasonable price!
IInvitéWe had a wonderful stay this weekend. The facilities exceeded our expectations – everything was well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. From fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and beverages, everything was beautifully presented and replenished regularly. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d happily recommend this hotel to others!

IInvitéEverything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. I enjoyed the fitness suite as well, variety of work out equipments. I will definitely recommend and will return there again 😀😀
IInvitéLa location de l'hôtel est très confortable et vous trouverez un établissement très confortable. La chambre est un peu datée par rapport à d'autres hôtels, mais le lit est confortable et vous disposez d'une télévision et d'une boisson chaude.

SSteve CundySet outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower.
Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening!
Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the ”spa” building was self service and chaotic.
Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility.
