The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros.

Ayant séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels en Italie, cet Astoria est sans conteste le meilleur ! Les chambres sont bien agencées, entièrement équipées et impeccables. L’architecture est remarquable, avec un souci du détail exceptionnel. Le personnel est chaleureux, attentionné et offre un service irréprochable. De plus, l’hôtel est idéalement situé, tout près de la place. Je le recommande vivement !

Hôtel : Propre Localisation : Le casino est à 2 minutes à pied Parking : L'hôtel dispose d'un service de voiturier payant, mais récupérez-le 15 minutes plus tôt chaque jour Personnel : En plus de la réceptionniste du parking à la porte, l'état d'esprit des autres employés doit être amélioré, pas de sourire, attitude de travail indifférente, suivre la réception pour lui demander de récupérer la voiture en premier, la réponse reçue est qu'il doit attendre sur place, nous avons attendu dans le vent froid pendant 15 minutes chaque jour

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment merveilleux. Le personnel, dont beaucoup sont italiens, était incroyablement accueillant, aimable et serviable. Nous avons rencontré un petit problème lors de notre arrivée, mais ils ont fait preuve d'une grande patience et ont tout fait pour le résoudre rapidement, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. C'est un endroit idéal pour séjourner avec des enfants. Tout a été géré efficacement chaque fois que nous avons eu besoin d'aide, et les nombreuses installations permettent à chacun de se sentir bien : un restaurant et un bar, un espace agréable pour le petit-déjeuner et les activités en soirée, ainsi qu'une aire de jeux pour que les enfants se défoulent. Pour les mélomanes, des instruments comme un piano, une guitare et un ukulélé sont à disposition. Une salle de sport est également disponible pour les sportifs. La cuisine extérieure est un atout charmant, et notre chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire. En résumé, une expérience très positive et nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

C'est proche de l'aéroport. L'avion a atterri très tard et il a fallu plus de dix minutes pour arriver. L'ambiance est correcte. C'était un peu bruyant en entrant au premier étage. J'étais pressé et je n'ai pas eu le temps de me promener.

Camera molto spaziosa, pulita e minimal. Bagno molto elegante, con lavandino che ho trovato un pò scomodo. Purtroppo all’interno della camera non era presente il phon (probabilmente rubato da qualcuno in precedenza), fatto che ho segnalato in reception. Colazione molto buona e con ampia scelta. Parcheggio un po scomodo (poco spazio tra i vari stalli) anche per il fatto di dover passare ogni volta in reception per validare il biglietto. Personale cordiale, gentile e disponibile.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for the first time with our two children. We booked two rooms, both offering a stunning view of the sea. The atmosphere is charming and naturally elegant, enhanced by the historic character of the building. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both international and local options. The beach is just across the street, only a two-minute walk, which was perfect for us. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient parking, located just outside the building. The swimming pool with its bar was a highlight—an ideal spot to relax and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would be happy to repeat in the future.

Halte très pratique et satisfaisante . Restaurant et bar sur place. Personnel très sympathique. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Booked a room with a balcony, so worth the extra fee. Try to reserve a higher floor, as some traffic from the small roads around but not excessive. Wonderful breakfast, lots of choice. Continually replenished. No kettle in the room, but reception when asked provided one for us. Nice to have a cuppa on the balcony before going out. Loots of local restaurants , il Patio was lovely. Also there is a bar up on side of cliff harbour which has seating outside overlooking the bay, fantastic views at dust with a nice glass of wine. Sea front only 3 min walk from the hotel, you can catch the boat to Portofino which is a lovely way to experience Portofino.

Le bâtiment supplémentaire est situé au-dessus du garage, où les bus peuvent stationner pendant plusieurs jours, allumant leurs moteurs pendant longtemps pour se réchauffer (sur la photo, la vue depuis la fenêtre). Ceci doit être pris en compte lors de la planification de votre réservation. Très bon personnel nettoyant les chambres, un grand merci à eux !
