From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. Our stay at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation in Davao was truly a memorable family experience and exactly what you would expect from a high-end 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and well thought out for both adults and kids. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful swimming pools, pristine beachfront, and a wide range of water and land activities that kept the whole family entertained throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. Every meal was consistently excellent, and having an onsite Starbucks was a great bonus for those quick coffee breaks in between activities. Breakfast each morning was especially impressive — a fantastic spread with high quality options that set the tone for the day. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the team. Special thanks to Joshua and Clarise — with Clarise showing excellent management in complicated situations — as well as Dominic and Ralphe, for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth, enjoyable, and complete. This is a place that delivers on both luxury and warmth — perfect for families looking for a relaxing yet engaging getaway. We will definitely be back in September.

Le ménage est très confortable et très confortable. Je ne peux que me plaindre de leurs réponses aux médias sociaux, téléphones et courriels, qui répondent très lentement ou pas. 1. J'ai demandé un transfert du Discovery Samal Welcome Center à leur Marina Wharf. Ils ont dit qu'ils enverraient une voiture à 1 h, mais il n'y avait personne. J'ai suivi par le voyage dot com messages, pas de réponse. J'ai appelé leur numéro mobile, décliné! Ils ont répondu qu'ils étaient en pause de déjeuner! Nous étions en presse parce que nous devons être dans leur cabine avant 14 h pour leur instruction. 2. Le transfert de bateau de la marine à la resort a été annulé en raison de grandes vagues. Je comprends. On nous a dit que nous allions voyager par terre. Nous avons conduit un camion, en ligne pour être transféré via RORO (oui, le transfert du navire) qui nous a pris 2 heures de friction juste pour nous redresser!! Nous avons fait un voyage de 3 heures pour arriver à l'hôtel. Nous sommes dans un resort de 5 étoiles mais ils ne peuvent pas faire quelque chose pour rendre l'attente/l'aménagement dans le RORO un peu plus rapide?? J'ai vu le conducteur payer 20/passenger pour conduire le RORO (non vérifié). Le site est très bien placé pour vous aider à trouver un accès à l'internet. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables.

À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre. Elle paraissait très vieille et démodée, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et le Wi-Fi était inexistant. J'ai déposé une réclamation le lendemain matin à 8h. Il a fallu attendre deux soirs de suite pour que le problème soit résolu et qu'on nous propose une autre chambre. Cette nouvelle chambre était exceptionnelle. La climatisation fonctionnait. Elle était moderne, plus jolie et moins étroite que la précédente. On pouvait accéder au lit facilement des deux côtés, contrairement à l'autre chambre où le lit était collé au mur. Cette nouvelle chambre était donc bien plus agréable. Le seul bémol de l'hôtel était le Wi-Fi, extrêmement mauvais, voire inexistant. Mais c'était le seul problème que nous avons rencontré durant notre séjour. Tout le reste était parfait, de la propreté au personnel. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était correct, même s'il manquait de choix pour les palais occidentaux. Pour un Philippin, c'était suffisant.

Location is good as it is near the airport and the city. Breakfast buffet is superb! Pools are big and clean. Staffs are helpful. Good and fast internet connection. My only prob is that TV is useless. No cable, not installed with netflix or internet. So no entertainment if you’re in room. But overall, its a really nice hotel and affordable.

The room was clean and comfortable, and everything I needed was there. I had a nice stay, and the staff were friendly too. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd definitely stay here again.

Expérimentation agréable. Néanmoins pas mauvais compte qu'ils rénovéssent certaines parties de l'hôtel. SM Lanang est à proximité. L'aéroport est à seulement 8 minutes de route. De nombreuses options alimentaires à l'extérieur et le massage est à l'intérieur de la Thai Boran.

I was wild by the staff the moment I arrived every interaction was courteous, polite, and professional. I’ve stayed a lot at Shangri-La properties, and Dusit did not disappoint. I even required medical help due to an illness. I got prior to arrival and the on staff nurse and duty manager were amazing in getting me healthy with an in room IV and taking great care of me.   I can’t wait to stay here again

I like the standard room, it' s good for 2 persons although the leg room is quite limited but over all it is ok. The place is serene and calm, it is ideal for middle aged and persons who like a quiet place to stay. And to top it all, there is a huge park outside where you can jog early in the morning or in the afternoon. I like the experience
