It was great! If there is one thing I need them to improve, it’s the restaurant service. Orders take a looot of time to get served even canned drinks. And you can’t tell me that it’s because of the occupancy. It’s a slow day when we checked in, not much guests around. Overall it definitely is a great place. Would come again. Would recommend. Just please improve the restaurant service!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Le service était excellent, le transport était bien organisé et bien organisé. Le personnel et l'équipage étaient très confortables, polis et attentifs tout au long de notre séjour. J'ai apprécié la qualité de tous, certains de l'équipage ont même aidé à prendre nos photos, ce qui a fait l'expérience plus mémorable. Je donne 4 étoiles pour la propreté parce que j'ai remarqué qu'il y avait un nid d'oiseaux dans la maison de Samal, et il y avait des moments où les oiseaux étaient présents dans la région. En général, il était encore un séjour merveilleux et relaxant, et kudos à l'ensemble de l'équipe pour leur hospitalité et un excellent service client.

Le service était excellent, la location était excellente et le buffet de l'hôtel était très bon. Lors de mon séjour, l'eau chaude n'a pas fonctionné pendant environ 3 jours. Personnellement, il semblait que l'hôtel se soucie beaucoup plus de son apparence à l'extérieur que l'expérience des clients.

I had a wonderful 4-day stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and guest-friendly. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of choices that catered to different tastes. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would definitely give Acacia Hotel Davao a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Davao who’s looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

I had a good stay at Grand Regal Hotel. The hotel is a decent place to stay, especially if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing. The pool area was actually one of the highlights… clean, spacious, and great for unwinding after a long day. However, the location is a bit inconvenient since it’s quite far from malls, convenience stores and other establishments. The rooms were also a little old and could use some renovation or upgrades. Overall, it’s a good hotel with nice amenities and friendly atmosphere, but not the best option if you prefer modern rooms and easy access to shopping or city attractions.

Comfortable and spacious room. Clean and well-maintained facilities. Good breakfast. Consistent with the standard quality and service of the Dusit brand. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I like the standard room, it' s good for 2 persons although the leg room is quite limited but over all it is ok. The place is serene and calm, it is ideal for middle aged and persons who like a quiet place to stay. And to top it all, there is a huge park outside where you can jog early in the morning or in the afternoon. I like the experience
