Mon mari Gaz et moi faisons un parcours de deux nuits à Alnwick avant de se diriger vers le nord. Bienvenue à Michael, et nous avons eu un siège et un peu de boissons délicieuses. Nous avons assisté à beaucoup de plats délicieux de nourriture servis et nous avons décidé de réserver un table pour ce soir - nous sommes heureux de le faire, de délicieux nourriture et beaucoup de gens de faim devaient être renvoyés comme il était entièrement réservé. Malgré l'occupation de la maison, nous n'avons pas été pressés, la nourriture était jume, la bière était et Michael était l'hôte parfait. J'avais les délicieux Shepherds Pie et Gaz avait le brûlure lente que il a dit aussi était grand serait honte si vous étiez à Alnwick et manqué sur cette bijoux, réservez avant si vous pouvez éviter déception

Upon arrival quite mumused at the greeter's request to inform the receptionist of my arrival ( ? ) even though I confirmed the payers full name, she could've been a little more courteous and agreeable, especially seeing as the room was empty. Really enjoyed our visit to the dirty bottles, great atmosphere in this very old pub, read about the story of the dirty bottles in the window and the mysterious death of the last man who touched them. Great staff on hand to give advice on food. The food was excellent with a great selection of real ales call in give it a go. Book a table to avoid disappointment

Très confortable pour A1 voyager mais pas de nuisance sonore. Personnel très aimable et utile. Notre chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre. Grand restaurant/bar/débarras et tables à l'extérieur. Beaucoup de parkings. Nous n'avons séjourné qu'une seule nuit mais nous reviendrons et nous recommanderons.

After seeing George Clarke talk about this fantastic boutique hotel, we knew we had to book an evening as we were travelling up to the east coast of Scotland for a wedding. A fantastic, central location with views of the magical Alnwick Castle, everything about this boutique hotel felt incredibly well thought out; combining high-class, expensive, quality furniture, while keeping a relaxed, genuine family-owned atmosphere. As soon as we arrived we had a friendly northeast welcome and the staff were incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. In the evening, we sat down to one of the best 3 course meals we've ever tasted for my dad's birthday. A great array of choice on the menu and as the four of us all had different dishes, the fact we all described the food as delicious in every bite, is a fantastic compliment to the chef and their team. Within the room, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was very impressive (and powerful water pressure, hard to come by usually in a hotel) and it was lovely to see that the hotel have fully embraced their history with a booklet of the story of 12 Bailiffgate in each room. It's not just the bigger things that have been done incredibly well, but it was the actual cookie jar filled with cookies that was the cherry on top of the cake. We will definitely be back!
