Rooms were gorgeous, they everything as seen on the website pictures. Beautiful surrounding and serene. Friendly staff. Welcoming and accommodating. Calming environment. However, the restaurant takes VERY LONG to serve the food. Restaurant plays only pure Afrikaans music, maybe play a popular radio to accommodate everyone. They need someone to monitor noice makers after 10pm and early mornings while others are asleep and resting. Overall, everything else was great!

When we arrived to check-in the lady at the counter couldn't access our booking which I had made on *********** and she made it seem as if this was our fault which was a bit frustrating. We had to wait quite a while until she was able to access it to confirm that I had already paid for the booking. The hotel itself was beautiful. The carpets in the bedrooms should be removed or updated as they are old and stained and spoils an otherwise lovely room! The biggest issue we faced was that the generator stopped working during our stay...mind you this was during a heatwave and the situation was handled poorly by staff. We had to go to our rooms early because staff was closing down the bar and outside area when loadshedding kicked in. They had no emergency lights at all to give to guests to use in the rooms which besides being unacceptable is also a safety risk. What if someone gets hurt or injured on your property in the dark? The staff had no response to anything except to say that they could not help us with anything and could not even look us in the eye. My parents who are in the 70s had to make their way up the stairs and be in their rooms with no lights available at all. The hotel is dark in general and with no lights on at all was not a pleasant experience. How were people supposed to use the bathroom as well in the dark? Staff should have also atleast made sure people had enough water as there was a heatwave with no aircons. Extremely disappointed that we paid to stay at this hotel and did not receive the general facilities we should have had and the attitude from the staff was unacceptable. Very disappointing to have paid so much for this experience

We stayed at this hotel twice in March 2023. Whilst it was 'ok' there were several features which need attention if it is to retain any semblance of a quality hotel. 1. Checkin procedures were interminable ..... expect to wait 20 mins minimum to check in whilst staff fiddle with computers, papers, passports, photocopies, preparation of keys etc. This process needs streamlining. 2. There are NO phones in the rooms. Rather you must have a smart phone and log in via a QR code and then do whatever .... we did not have phones and had to physically go down to reception to report problems. 3. The a/c in room 1 did not work. We went down to reception but nothing was done. 4. The room safe did not work in room 2. Attention to these issues needed as they reflect an underlying issue with management.

Ce charmant hôtel boutique nous a vraiment fait disparaître. Pourquoi? Leur personnel. Ils sont comme la famille. Ils se traitent bien, ils semblent vraiment aimer travailler ensemble, et cela vaut vraiment le prix de la façon dont ils traitent leurs clients. Les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux et ils ont une grande variété de nourriture, de fruits et de yogurt à sauces, bacon et œufs. Les chambres étaient confortables et nous avons eu accès à une cuisine.

Le service est excellent (à moins d'une étoile seulement). Je suis arrivé avant l'heure officielle d'enregistrement. La réceptionniste a eu la gentillesse de chercher une chambre disponible pour moi, car j'ai expliqué que je venais de l'étranger. La nourriture est délicieuse, grande variété de plats (surtout le petit déjeuner). J'aime aussi le fait qu'ils proposent même des plats africains traditionnels.😊 Les vues sont spectaculaires (je partagerai quelques photos ci-dessous).

Friendly staff. However quite unprofessional. One prefers to have their breakfast in peace, some of the staff members were grouped right in front of the elevator with a view, chatting as if they didn’t have work to do which was quite disturbing as this is just by the dining area. When you stand up to dish up for yourself- they’re starring. Also, the aircon has a “heat” option which when you switch to, the temperature is rather cold. The double room has head lamps attached to the board just above the bed but had no bulbs. The noise coming from the passages are unbearable. You can’t sleep or nap peacefully.

L'hôtel est très bien situé près de l'hôpital Unitas où notre ami était à l'UCU, et à seulement 5 minutes à pied d'Uber et le personnel était incroyablement hospitalier et gentil, parce qu'ils savaient que notre situation était qu'ils étaient tous intéressés et plus que utiles avec Nous attendons à la table de dîner pour nous offrir de porter de la nourriture à notre chambre- nous avons quitté l'hôtel, nous avons fait des amis, de la garde de sécurité à la porte à la GM! de très recommandée à proximité du centre de centurie à 4 minutes à pied sur la côte dans une zone très sûre de Pretoria

We stayed at Mongena for a week and got married there on the Saturday night. So we've been interacting with Marina and her team for nearly a year planning the wedding. We had the most amazing time. All of the staff that we interacted with were extremely professional and treated us really well. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are looked after. The food is incredible - everything we ate was delicious. The grounds are very well kept and there are zebra, springbok and nyala roaming around, which are beautiful to look at. We went on a sunset cruise and two game drives, and saw a lot. The rangers were professional and knowledgeable, while also being helpful. The wedding was incredible - Marina is the most amazing organiser and every member of her team worked very hard to make the wedding a success. Everyone had a good time. We had people stay over on the Friday night before the wedding and it was great to have more time to interact with our guests. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it. Bonus that it is so close to Johannesburg and OR Tambo airport.

Stayed here with a group of students for one night. The hotel is, for its price, good value. The rooms are simple but clean and ok for a night or two. The staff is friendly however not too efficient with check-in which took close to an hour. We had dinner, lunch and breakfast at the hotel. The food was ok but expect no frills or service, just decent and relatively affordeable. I do feel that with the amount of traffic the hotel has, that more can be done here. The garden is very nicely set up and great to enjoy a meal or to relax. The staff was caring and once we connected with them, nothing was too much which was great. Overall a good and affordeable place to stay in Pretoria.

The hotel failed to provide electricity to charge phones, hair dryers couldn't be switched on, laptops couldn't be switched on. The reason for the trip was to attend a function. The phones being off meant that one was cut off from communication. After asking reception in the morning, I was confidently told the generator only works for lights. Consider ppl travelling into pta from far in future generator purchase please. Even if u lease it. It will go a way

Brooklyn est le bed and breakfast le plus privé et le plus convivial dans lequel j'ai vécu ces années. La maison centenaire dispose d'un petit jardin avec piscine. Le design de la maison dans la pièce est très artistique. Des gens vivants. Petit déjeuner de haute qualité, excellent emplacement, restaurants et supermarchés pratiques dans les environs, situé dans le quartier calme de Brooklyn, quartier relativement sûr en Afrique du Sud. Le petit déjeuner était de haute qualité, le café et l'omelette aux fruits étaient délicieux et le service ne pouvait pas être dit. Nous avons fait de notre mieux pour répondre à tous nos besoins et nous nous sentons vraiment chez nous! recommander!

I was travelling to Namibia and used this hotel for an overnight stay. It is about a 35 minute taxi ride from Johannesburg airport at night. Almost all the distance was on a secure highway. The hotel is located in a very good location in Pretoria, next to a sports stadium. The central part of Pretoria was an easy 5 minute ride away. The hotel is in fact located in a complex with a sports stadium, restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery, and other amenities. It is very secured as it is cordoned of by fencing and security. The staff was pleasant, greeted me and smilingly gave me my room details. I had a beautiful clean room with fresh bedding, a shower, some amenities, and a good night's sleep. There was a nice sky bar with good late night food and music. It was nice sit in the bar and enjoy the Pretoria Skyline. There is a pool in the roof. Breakfast was a good spread. It was a nice experience at this hotel.

We stayed for a night to attend the Backstreet Boys concert so whilst it catered for our needs, it was such an average experience that I think I should have given it a skip (the hotel, not the concert). The good points: friendly staff on check-in and generally good service. The room was comfortable and spotless. The bad points: the bathroom was not nice. Tiny toilet and shower cubicle with pipes that made a huge noise when the hot water was turned on and barely any counter space to keep items from your vanity case. The breakfast was included in the room charge and I was really looking forward to this. But, whilst they had a huge variety, the taste was not good. My omlette was undercooked (the cheese didn't even melt), the pastries were not fresh, bordering on stale and the coffee was really awful. All in all, not a terrible experience because we were there for such a short time but I did expect better and I definitely won't stay there again which is unfortunate because the Sun Bet arena, which is next to the hotel (maybe 100m) seems to be the preferred concert venue these days.

L'hôte est très accueillant, sûr et très accueillant qui sait comment faire un grand petit déjeuner! C'était notre première nuit en Afrique du Sud. Nous nous sommes sentis bienvenus immédiatement. Quel accueillant adorable! Nous serons certainement de retour pour commencer notre prochaine voyage.

Rooms were gorgeous, they everything as seen on the website pictures. Beautiful surrounding and serene. Friendly staff. Welcoming and accommodating. Calming environment. However, the restaurant takes VERY LONG to serve the food. Restaurant plays only pure Afrikaans music, maybe play a popular radio to accommodate everyone. They need someone to monitor noice makers after 10pm and early mornings while others are asleep and resting. Overall, everything else was great!

Several of our family from the Cape attended a family wedding in Pretoria and rented 4 apartments at the Regency. The apartments were very nice, clean & comfortable. The Staff members were very friendly especially the security. But unfortunately, there was a few issues especially with warm water and a few minor upkeep maintenances i.e., cupboard doors & drawers loose from hinges, holes in bedroom doors, cracked window etc. Since our arrival Thursday evening, the only time that we had warm water for shower was on Sunday morning. When we arrived Thursday afternoon there was a note in the elevator confirming that the water will be of on Thursday. We asked the agent that accompanied us to our apartments about the water issue and he confirmed that the water supply was on again. Unfortunately, it was only the cold water. Friday we still had no warm water and had to take freezing cold showers in the middle of winter. Saturday morning after several messages, some family members went down to reception to complain. Reception informed them that no one was available to look at the problem. One of our family members is a qualified electrical engineer. He offered to look at the problem. Accompanied by one of the staff members, he found that the warm water element for the apartments side of the building were turned off and that the warm water was only available to the hotel side.

Quiet, clean, safe. Undercover parking. Friendly host. Great location, central but still out of the noise of city. Note that accommodation adjoins host residence. Perfect for shorter stays. Perhaps installing a washer/dryer would elevate this stay.

This place is stunning and the executive rooms are so luxurious, definitely 5 star. Our breakfast was amazing. The pool is also heated which is great for a night swim. The only issue we had is that the AC doesn’t work during loadshedding which makes it difficult to sleep on summer nights. We also didn’t have anything for mosquitoes so opening doors at night was a challenge. Otherwise I would definitely go back!

Regardez juste à côté du bâtiment de l'Union de Pretoria en Afrique du Sud. C'est très accessible. Le personnel est amical et le petit déjeuner est très délicieux. Le parking sous-sol est spacieux, donc il est très bon d'utiliser des voitures La salle de bains était également très bonne dans une chambre spacieuse. Tout d'abord, il était grand de rester avec les enfants. Reste avec deux enfants pour un court voyage familial Il était un bon hôtel pour rester.

Après 3 semaines de sommeil dans toutes sortes de cabines primitives, nous avons vraiment attendu une nuit dans un bon hôtel. Malheureusement! Le dîner en forme de buffet était très modéré. Nous n'avons pas trouvé que l'eau de notre arrivée à 19.00 à 23.00 heure sortait. Même le WC ne pouvait pas être traversé. L'air conditionné est sur le sol, ce qui fait que l'air froid reste en bas. Il semblait aussi que l'air chaud a été explosé dans la chambre. Le matin suivant, nous avons voulu prendre une douche et nous avons trouvé qu'on avait un toilet. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était bon. Le personnel est lent et semble très peu amusant.

Un bel endroit situé juste à côté d'Irene Farm. Sur le bord d'un petit lac. De bons soupers dans une belle salle à manger. Personnel très disponible à l'accueil. Chambre spacieuse. Malgré les rénovations sur le terrain (saison morte) cela ne nous pas dérangé.

Je pense que vous devez former certaines de vos eaux pour être amicales et apprendre à saluer les clients.La sagesse qui travaillait ce lundi matin ne nous a pas appréciés , elle nous a juste demandé ce que nous voulions manger et elle a pris environ 30 minutes pour me apporter du lait chaud et faire un peu de thé et quand elle a apporté du lait il n'était pas chaud Lorsque nous quittons le dîner elle n'a même pas envie de demander si nous avons aimé le petit-déjeuner ou non.Une autre chose est que je n'ai pas aimé le dîner .Mon conseil est de téléphoner aux clients et de découvrir ce qu'ils préfèrent de manger pour que vous préparez avant leur arrivée car je demande à la pause rapide de la salée de fruits mais il n'y avait pas, et c'est ma préférence.

J'ai aimé mon séjour là, si j'avais pu rester plus longtemps. Clean et a tout ce que vous avez besoin à un prix raisonnable. Pacifique et tranquille.Internet et télévision fonctionnant correctement. Beau déco ! Je resterai là encore quand j'aurai une chance.
