I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

Voyons : Con(s): Il ne serait pas injuste de dire que les temps d'attente pour la nourriture au restaurant sont un peu longs, bien que nous nous rendions visite à des moments bizarres, de sorte qu'il pourrait être attribué à la création de la cuisine, et nous n'avons pas vraiment eu de problème avec elle. Pros: La chambre était fantastique, avec climatisation incroyable, meubles confortables et WiFi exquis. I am very satisfied with the facilities as well as the services. The room was clean and spacey. For the breakfast, you can taste the Spanish omelette just cooked. The employees at the bar are very kind and polite. The laundry service was also very good. Clothes were delivered clean and well-folded. The security is also good since the inter elevator is separated from the outer one. The genera manager is the best. He is always willing to help you kindly, politely and well-mannered. I will definitely recommend this hotel and be back when a chance is given. Great to stay 😊

D'autres sont bons, la position est insensée, il y a un beau paysage portuaire devant! Les installations sont également nouvelles et sont confortables d'entrer et de sortir. En particulier, le riz au huitième étage est vraiment le meilleur que jamais! Le service de la sauvegarde est un problème, les dents ont besoin de trois fois, deux de deux pour un! Il n'y a plus de temps pour le premier jour. Les remorques à usage unique sont également la première fois utilisées pour ne pas être remplacées! Les remorques à usage unique sont de longue durée! L'autre défaut est que le WiFi est trop lent et que l'horloge bleue qui est affichée sous la télévision est trop bruyante.

I'm going to give my honest review about Gold Tulip Resort in Dar es Salaam. This should not be a 4 Star Hotel it should be a 2.5 - 3 Star. My husband and I stayed at this location from 02/02/23 - 02/10/23. The driver for the hotel picked my husband and I up from the airport very nice man. I would like to talk about the Pro's and Con's of this place. Con's Finally arriving at our destination I was so confused and disturbed by how unpleasant it looked in the back of the building. The inside of the receptionist lobby was very clean and it smelled amazing. It was nice and cool. Taking the elevator to the 16th floor was extremely hot. They should install an air conditioning system or a fan inside of the elevator because it's very hot an muggy. My husband and I stayed in room 1606. The room was nice and spacious. Several things I did not like about the room. 1. TV was really small and it wasn't directly in the middle where it should've been. 2. No sports station only in the restaurant on the 20th and 21st floor which was super annoying. You're not able to enjoy your stay and watch sports in your room. 3. On February 9th it stormed and my husband and I were asleep. The sound of the thunder and lightening woke me up. I tried going back to sleep but I kept hearing rain drops which sounded as if it the rain was dropping onto the floor. I get up at 3am and check and low and behold the window seal was completely drenched and water was also on the floor. How is this possible??? They need to do some immediate work on their windows because this is extremely dangerous. 4. Bathroom was very unpleasant looking. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. No matter how many times the housekeeper came to clean the inside of the toilet where the water refills was so corded with rust. Everytime we flushed the water was brown. That was disgusting. It really bothers me when I needed to shower water would get all over the floor because there was no door to keep the water inside the shower. The existing glass door that's there water gets underneath it and gets all over the floor. Water temperature takes time to get hot. 5. Air conditioner unit is horrible and they need to replace all of them in each room. For this place to charge so much money they can afford to upgrade the air conditioning unit, TV, TV Stations, Glass door for shower, toilets, etc... 6. My husband and I ate at their restaurant almost everyday. The prices of their breakfast is ridiculous because the food they have for all you can eat wasn't pleasant. To charge what they charge is a bit outrageous. The drinks they have out are NEVER and I mean NEVER iced cold. When you ask them for ice it's always a hassle to get because their machine doesn't always work. It's really hot in the morning and not having an iced cold beverage is annoying. Dinner Menu I got really bored with. First thing I ordered on their menu was Chicken Tom Yom Soup. When I tell you this soup was no where near Tom Yom.soup. It tasted not

Le meilleur déjeuner indien que j'ai jamais eu à Dar es salaam. Excellent service personnalisé. Beau et grande diffusion de différents types de plats. Hotel Manager Raj vous est une étoile. Maintenez le bon travail. Le restaurant m'a fait une belle idée de son nom, mais il était très gentil, humble et toujours souriant.

It‘s a fairly new hotel and part of Marriott Bonvoy. I enjoyed to stay there a lot, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is nice and with various options. The pool has a nice size, however lacking a view. Talking about view, some rooms have nice sea view. Others have pool view but you also see the green landscape which is nice too. The rooms are pretty big, kind of small TV though, but they feel very comfortable and the bed is great too. Also USB and an international power plug at the night stand, which still a lot of other hotels don‘t have. Rooms are cleaned very well. The gym is very basic, only machines for cardio and a few weights. Ate dinner at the restaurant several times and always got good food. There is an area called Slipway just 5 walking minutes away, that also provides great food options and a bit of nightlife.

Quand je suis arrivé, j'ai attendu une heure pour m'enregistrer. J'ai dit que l'heure d'enregistrement était à 14 heures et l'heure de départ était à 10 heures. J'ai été un peu surpris, mais le lit jumeau a donné un surclassement gratuit dans la chambre double. Petit déjeuner comme du lait chaud, œufs au plat sur place. Il y a quelques moustiques qui vivent maintenant, et c'est particulièrement rapide à attraper. Les installations sont un peu historiques, l'eau est un peu bouchée et il y a moins d'émissions de télévision. Le nettoyage des chambres est plus rapide. Le serveur est très bon. Comment le dîner est-il si lent, mais vous pouvez lire le téléphone pour écrire une critique, il semble que ce soit le rythme, les rues environnantes sont soignées et se sentent plus en sécurité. La mosquée à l'extérieur de la fenêtre diffuse plusieurs fois par jour. A cinq heures, quelqu'un sera réveillé. Heureusement, je ne l'entends pas.

I like staying at Mediterranio Hotel even if the journey from the airport is longer. The staff is courteous, the breakfast is very good and I can sleep well at night and recover from the long flight. If I travel to Tanzania via Dar es Salaam again, I will choose the Mediterranio Hotel to arrive.

Nous avons visité le resort de la plage de Kijiji le jour après Noël , le 26 de 2021, le embarquement et l'enregistrement est bien je admire avoir une expérience de natation sur l'océan mais malheureusement le jour où nous avons allé à l'eau aussi loin de leurs services quand il arrive La piscine est bonne, de salles d'échange sont de très bonne qualité aux piscines elles-mêmes. La seule chose que je n'aimais pas sur les piscines de piscine de plage de Kijiji est le nombre de personnes était trop élevé dans une mesure qui le rend très difficile de se détendre pendant la natation, mais c'est peut-être parce que nous sommes allés pendant les vacances

Bien pour un transit Hôtel de charme, bien situé non loin de l’aéroport entre 20- et 30 min. Taxi prit à l’aéroport, nous avons négocié 50$ aller retour. Jolie chambre , nous sommes parti tôt le matin donc pas su goûter le déjeuner. La piscine était jolie mais même chose, trop tard pour aller plonger dedans.

C'est un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour le $, et le personnel est super aussi. Il y a un supermarché et une banque dans le même bâtiment, et un bon restaurant juste à côté. Il est à distance de marche de la plage. Assurez-vous d'avoir le numéro de téléphone au cas où vous auriez du mal à le trouver car le nom du lieu n'est pas affiché. Il se trouve en face de la clinique IST et dans le même bâtiment que le supermarché du village.

I have been traveling to this beautiful city of Dar es Salam for the past 20 years and have stayed at almost all the hotels and hotel/apartments that rate from 3* to 5*. I have to be honest that many have impressed me and some disappointed me and I could say some have surprised me, but I still had to find one that was 100% on point until I landed at Aura Suites. This place is in a wonderful location of the city, it is central and it can serve business people single or in groups, it could play host to families on short stays or those in transit and would also be ideal for groups of tourists. I happens to pick a one bedroom suite, what I got was jaw dropping and for a very very affordable rate inclusive of breakfast. I had what they call a mini kitchen but to me was a kitchen for a good 2 bedroom apartment anywhere in the world, I got a living room with beautiful furniture and a massive television, a dining room, a guest cloak room, a laundry room and the bedroom was actually even more than my expectation this is a huge en-suite room with a massive TV, closet, and safe box. The furniture and fixtures are all top notch and of high quality. The showers are rain showers with enough water pressure and hot water is always available. They have a roof top bar and restaurant on the 16th floor that gives you an amazing view of the skyline of Dar es salaam, the food was amazing and they have every kind of drink at their bar and all at very competitive reasonable prices. The entire building is immensely neat and clean it may remind you of a military hospital in terms of the precision and attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and well maintained. Last but not least the staff are friendly, and educated with knowledge of what they are serving in drink or food which at times can be a challenge even in the top 5* hotels in Dar. I was amazed that the top management and managers of the hotel are consistently moving around the place and checking on the services, as I assumed these maybe businessman who are guests but very professional well dressed men would approach me and always ask if I am ok and how was my meal and my breakfast and or if I slept well. All in all they have me as their regular customer and I recommend anybody intending to visit Dar to stay at Aura suites

La plage privée 🏖 est très belle et très propre. Les installations de l'hôtel sont complètes, les réfrigérateurs portent des vêtements de sécurité et ainsi de suite. Le paysage extérieur de la fenêtre est très bon, et il y a un endroit pour organiser une fête.

Our rooms were spacious and had all basic amenities plus more. The hotel staff were excellent throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome. A special mention to all staff we interacted with daily...the list is long but i will try...Ahmed,Annax2,Hassani,Ernest,Happiness,Olivia,Gervas,Khadija,Sharifa,Zakia,Zawadi,Siwena,Joshua,Joseph,Vera,Revocutus,Patricia.......sorry if i left anyone out.

L'hôtel de transit est bon, le chauffeur de taxi me charge 5USD de l'aéroport à l'hôtel, il est acceptable pour la première fois, mais après avoir séjourné en Tanzanie pendant un mois, 5USD est vraiment beaucoup. Le personnel est sympa et amical, mais il y a une électricité coupée ce jour-là. La seule chose est que la situation est mauvaise, l'environnement est dangereux. C'est pourquoi je vivrai seulement 3 heures au lieu de la nuit.

Nous avons séjourné ici après un tour sur le territoire et n'avons pas pu être plus impressionnés par le service et la gentillesse. L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans le centre de Dar. La chambre était idéale avec une douche et un climatisation. Le petit déjeuner inclus était également excellent avec un personnel amiable et une grande sélection de plats. Nous vous recommandons cet hôtel et après avoir visité plus de 100 pays, vous sentez qu'il est là avec le meilleur.

La chambre était propre, la pâte propre. Il y a une télévision dans la chambre. La salle de bain est propre, le pipeline est nouveau, il y a de l'eau chaude. Du port à 20 minutes à pied. Il y a KFC à proximité.

très bel hôtel malheureusement nous sommes arrivés tres tard et n avons pas pu en profiter à fond . Hôtel à 40 min de l aéroport dans quartier chic de Dar Es Salam chambre spacieuse et confortable , très belle plage , et piscine . Petit déjeuner en buffet copieux et varié
