Il a un excellent personnel d'hôtel qui fonctionne le lieu qui est si difficile à trouver. Luis qui travaille le bureau de front a vraiment été au-dessus et au-delà pour nous aider pendant notre séjour. L'hôtel était parfait pour ce que nous voulions, à part la décoration sombre et dreary des chambres ... bruns sombres, moussard et orange sombre ne sont pas ce que je m'attendais à un resort de mer ! Je me suis imaginé marcher dans une chambre bleue ou verte claire comme vous le voyez dans les condos pour louer. La salle de bain avait vu des jours meilleurs pour s'assurer ... la base de bain a l'air légèrement grubby mais elle avait un mat anti-slip élevé qui maintient souvent un apparence plus sombre et les portes de douche étaient écrasées et ne s'adaptaient pas correctement. En fait, c'était un peu déshonorant et inappropriant ! Les chambres sont très confortables et confortables. Le club de dix niveau permet une zone gratuite pour les enfants, ce qui la rend plus calme et offre un petit déjeuner livré gratuit ou un bon pour réduire votre facture de petit déjeuner @ Blakes Bistro & Je crois que le parking gratuit de valet (sauf les conseils naturels!) Les restaurants sont excellents ici à The San Luis. Tout ce que nous mangeons ici était délicieux mais coûteux. Le service était excellent aussi et tous les personnels étaient extrêmement attentifs et amis.

Husband and I decided to try someplace new for a weekend getaway and chose this place based on the Gaido’s name and the website stating it was newly renovated. We stayed in the “Gulf View Luxury King Ground Floor with Private Hot Tub” or “Mike’s Corner” room. This room boasted several amenities such as: upscale linens, private hot tub, THREE flat screen TV’s, Bluetooth music center, enhanced bath with separated shower/tub, wet bar, with a private entrance and patio.  What they DON’T tell you is that : The “upscale linens” stick to you all night because the AC doesn’t cool properly and you sweat all night long. The tiles in the bathroom sag with what appears to be water damage. The “private patio” is literally on the corner of a very busy intersection. Therefore, loud cars drive by all the time. There is also a sidewalk VERY close to your “private patio” which causes people to walk right by the “private patio” and your room at all hours of the night. The entrance to get back into your room from the patio/hot tub area does not have an operating lock on the door. The aluminum shutters are not made to be actual barriers to keep the public from getting into your room, and since there is a broken lock on the actual door back into the room, we had to band it shut to feel it safe to even sleep at night. The main entrance from the parking lot is also dark and not well lit at night. Does not feel safe at all. The hot tub is rusted all around the bottom and barely reaches 101 degrees. There are only TWO TV’s and only ONE of them actually works part of the time. The Bluetooth center never worked properly either. The wet bar has a filthy, rusted, and dusty plugin 6” plastic fan hooked on it that was not even plugged in. There was no purpose for this nasty fan aside from apparently showing the type of thing that is completely overlooked by the maintenance and cleaning crew. The seats besides the wet bar are stained with who knows what. The one door is also missing its knob. The enhanced bath needs a new plug to help actually hold water and the cool waterfall and other extra showers don’t work either. The soap dispensers are rusted and dirty. The electrical sockets are all rusted as well (we understand it’s by the Gulf, but have you not heard of using plastic or another material that might hold up better?) The doors will look like they have been jimmied open at least a couple of times. The tiles are not even fully covering the ceiling. If I were the Gaido’s family, I would be ashamed to put my name and reputation on this hotel. If this little hotel is this bad, I’m curious what their restaurant kitchen looks like? If it weren’t for the last-minute trip and non-refundable payment, we would have just left. What a waste of $700 bucks and we will never go back that’s for sure!! Je suis entré dans cet hôtel depuis 20 ans, à travers une propriété différente, et j'aime la situation. Nous avons une chambre royale avec un ”balcon” que vous ne pouvez même pas voir de la paroi Blvd, et seulement une chaise sur le mini-balcon que nous avons, et on leur a dit qu'ils n'ont pas d'autres chaises Il y a 2 d'entre nous, juste Fyi. Je suis arrivé à 1 , sachant que je ne pouvais pas m'en rendre compte jusqu'à plus tard, mais je me demandais si nous pouvions au moins avoir une vue partielle sur le golf, et il a été informé que les chambres ont été attribuées ce matin et nous obtenons ce que nous obtenons. La chambre était très propre et agréable, donc je suppose que ça va. L'endroit du lit dur et très inconfortable. Photo de notre chambre ”golf view” attachée. Ugh!

Nous avons été hébergés ici en utilisant un incitant HI Resort Timeshare et nous n'avions pas pu être plus heureux. La situation est à côté de la plage et chaque chambre est face à l'eau et dispose d'un pont. La chambre était propre et tout en bonne santé. Nous étions en 501. Les lits étaient super confortables. La douche avait une bonne pression. Nous aimerions avoir de petites bouteilles et de souffle et pas toutes les pompes dans la douche. Le petit déjeuner était similaire chaque jour, mais chaud, frais, et toujours beaucoup à choisir. L'hôtel était propre et le personnel était ami et efficace. Il était hors saison, nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine. Le parking était facile. J'aimerais être un peu loin de l'excitation Mardi Gras. Je recommanderais et envisagerais de rester ici encore si nous pouvions rentrer.

I booked a couple to stay at The Beachcomber Inn on 9/30-10/1/23. It was booked the same day they were to arrive in Galveston. It was not booked through Trip Advisor, but through *******. Once booked Expedia’s Wen Site for this property quoted the rate including all taxes and fees as $127.77. But upon arrival the Front Desk Clerk informed them that they needed to pay an additional $100.00 Deposit on their Checking Debit Card. This Hotel had just charged them $127.77 on the Husband’s Credit Card & now wanted to charge them an additional $100.00 on a Debit Card which they were not willing to give a Debit Card. They ended up going to a different Hotel down the street & were not charged a deposit in addition to what was their total quoted rate including taxes & fees at the second Hotel. I as their Travel Agent called ******* to open a Ticket & have the issue escalated to The Beachcomber Inn’s Management who refused to refund their money. Bottom Line do not book to stay there as they do not care about you as a customer or in treating you right. Their posted rates are a sham/misleading.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel à bas prix. Il est littéralement au milieu de nulle part et la nourriture/divertissement est un Uber/cabine qui se déplace. Le type qui nous a vérifiés, Christian, a agi comme si nous le dérangeions. Nous lui avons demandé si nous pouvions mettre une partie des frais de la chambre en espèces, mais il a dit que nous ne pouvions pas. Nous avons découvert plus tard que nous pouvions avoir, mais il semble plus de travail qu'il ne voulait pas faire. Il a dit qu'il ne pouvait pas faire des recommandations et qu'il ne savait pas ce que nous voulions manger. Quelles sont les choses ? ! ! Pas de mention du Seawall ou des restaurants merveilleux près du port. Notre chambre sentait un bébé et nous lui avons demandé de le faire et il a dit qu'il le verrait. Nous avons fait une réservation en ligne et c'est une erreur que nous ne ferons jamais de nouveau. Nous l'avons sucée en sachant que nous restions seulement une nuit.

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique dans cet hôtel, notre chambre était dans le plus récent addition, notre chambre était grande et confortable, pleine de lumière, l'hôtel était propre et suivre les protocoles covid 19, donc nous devons demander des serviettes supplémentaires, Le petit déjeuner était un déjeuner (céréales, pâtes, kolaches, fruits, lait et yogurt, etc.) fournitures de café pour les cafés doivent être demandées à la réception. La piscine et le restaurant sont proches pour se conformer aux protocoles covid19. Demandez-nous les protocoles covid19 à votre arrivée, Nous sommes confus après un jour de service de garde-fous et deux jours en ligne de non-ménage.

Another stay 1/19-1/12 2023. Check in staff on the 19th was just outstanding. Very friendly and helped us even get in a little early. Room was good, clean but shows so ware. View was outstanding and bed were very comfortable. The longboards by the pool needs some work. Order takeout waited a 1/2 hour was Then told they were only charging me half for on item because the were out of flat bread. So they only have a 1/2 flat because that is all they had left. Not sure why they would not tell you when you ordered. So two orders became just a 1/2 flat bread I just asked them to void the whole order which was not a easy task. I will say the staff was friendly thur the process. The night folks at the desk need a lot of help. Do not speak when you enter to lobby, matter of fact they do not even look up from whatever it is the two of them were doing on the computer. No free coffee in this hotel unless you have you own cup then they will fill it. Seem weird ever hotel has free coffee anymore. Had a lot of problems with billing when we checked out. They said I still owed 30 some dollars for a pre-paid room. I ended up calling Hilton Honors but after 20 minutes at two different folks was told it would be 72 hours and I still have not heard anything. The nice lady at check out worked hard to figure it out and I assume it is but have not been able to check out my CC statement yet. The manager she called on duty was no help he was rude and just left her hanging to figure it out. AGAIN SHE WAS GREAT the manager and Hilton Honors not so much.

Nous n'avons pas été à The Galvez depuis plus d'un an. Nous avons habitué à rester au moins deux week-ends par mois. La famille Mitchell a vendu le Galvez et c'est NU le même en tout cas! Si vous n'avez pas été pendant un temps vous êtes en choc! Je commencerai par le positif des nouveaux propriétaires « modélisation ». La nourriture est beaucoup mieux et je les ai aimé prendre le tube dans la salle de bains et faire une douche plus grande. Ils ont pris les belles portes avant et ont mis une porte tournante bon marché, ils ont peint de l'extérieur de l'hôtel une Pepto-Bismol rose avec des couvertures de fenêtres noires et blanches énormes devant l'hôtel. Vous vous y rendez, vous allez à l'intérieur, à ce que je suppose qu'ils essayaient de parvenir à quelque chose de swanky. Ils ont retiré le grand cheque dans la région de l'ancien et mis dans un café ouvert à partir de 6h30 et 1h00. Ils ont ajouté un bar à gauche avec des énormes bougies rouges et jouer Sinatra. La salle opposée a des camions blancs avec des couvertures rouges avec des étages noir et blanc. En sortant de l'ascenseur à votre chambre, vous êtes enterré avec les couvertures de murs les plus terribles, une jungle florale avec des oignons et des singes et un tapis bleu ! Vous entrez dans votre chambre avec les mêmes couvertures de mur sur un mur et les miroirs sur l'ensemble du mur derrière le lit. Le tapis est une place bleue et blanche avec des spikes blanches sur le côté bleu. Le Galvez n'est plus l'éloquent, glamour, classique hôtel de distinction.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est bon ! Recommandez à tout le monde de venir ici pour voir! Le stationnement est gratuit ! Surtout pour tout le monde, ce restaurant, qui est tout près de l'hôtel, est plutôt bon !

L'hôtel est propre, moderne et confortable. Ce n'est pas si difficile à trouver ces jours-ci si vous savez ce que vous cherchez quand vous cherchez un hôtel. Il a un excellent personnel d'hôtel qui fonctionne le lieu qui est si difficile à trouver. Luis qui travaille le bureau de front a vraiment été au-dessus et au-delà pour nous aider pendant notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner est si frais et donc ne me laisse pas commencer sur ces œufs fluffy! Ils ont même une petite piscine et un tube chaud qui se déplaçent la nuit pour les nageurs et les enfants tard. Les lits sont frais et les serviettes sont si. Tout est propre.

Le parc d'imposition et le parc de croisière, ainsi que le transbordeur de voyage à travers le port de croisière, ont été très bien partagés après avoir comparé le parking dans le port. Le jour du décollage, j'ai appelé l'hôtel à 7 h 30 pour s'assurer que nous savions où était le pick-up et le numéro de bus de la navette. À 10 h 19, j'ai appelé l'hôtel pour vérifier la route du transbordeur. À 11 h, j'ai appelé l'hôtel pour vérifier le navire, puisque nous avions vu plusieurs autres navires venir et partir à plusieurs reprises. J'ai appelé à 11 h 30- ils ont été dits qu'ils parleraient personnellement avec le conducteur et qu'ils m'appeleraient. Juste avant l'après-midi, un camion de Mercedes #405 a été embarqué dans le parking désigné. Il n'était pas un bus charter qui nous avait laissés sortir et il n'était certainement pas le numéro 803 comme l'hôtel nous l'avait dit. Il était confondu comme nous l'avions attendu tant de temps mais il était pardonné et amiable dans l'ensemble, étant donné que nous étions assis au soleil attendant une course de plus de 2 heures à ce moment-là. Le personnel s'est excusé et a dit que ce chauffeur n'était même pas leur chauffeur et qu'il était juste un bon chauffeur pour nous ramener et n'était pas affilié à l'hôtel. Le gestionnaire qui m'a pardonné et qui m'a remercié pour les réactions, a dit qu'elle allait avec la compagnie de transbordeurs pour améliorer leur service, qu'elle nous aiderait à prendre soin de l'entrée et à tout mettre en place pour notre séjour. Quand je lui ai dit que nous étions là pour prendre notre véhicule et sortir sur notre voiture de 7 heures, elle a juste dit oh ok je pensais que vous n'étiez pas partis. Elle n'a pas tenté de nous compenser pour les problèmes ou l'expérience terrible de sortir au soleil pendant deux heures. Si vous voyagez en croisière, payez l'argent supplémentaire et parc dans le port pour que vous puissiez partir en temps utile!

The first night I was there they gave my room key to a very drunk that wasn't a registered guest, I called the office to ask for help. They said someone will be right up, NO ONE EVER came. I finally had to call the police after about an hour of her banging and yelling at my door, my children frightened of course. They took her to jail. I went down to the office to see why someone gave my key to this very very drunk lady. Not even bothering you check with me to see if I wanted her to have a key or if I knew her or anything. The one guy that was there said I don't know who have her a key. Lying straight to my face. I asked when the manager would be in and name, he said 10 and gave me a guys name. Considering how late it, I wanted to calm my daughters down and get them to sleep. The next morning, I made them change my room. I went from a partial ocean view to a brink wall view. The room was like a cave! Not to mention giant bugs and baseboards literally falling down. This was around 11ish, I waited was for the manager. The manager didn't even get there until 1145a. Then when I asked to speak to him and was informed it was a woman (another lie) she would even come out of her office to talk to me about my safety concerns for my children and I. Telling me to speak with the GM the following day when I would already be gone. I asked for a refund they said since I need oked through them I would have to cancel through them first. I spent and hour or n the phone with them as they we're unsuccessfully able to get ahold of the manager who was the one one who could fix this issue. However, again she refused to talk to anyone. However passing along the message since it was after 12 she wasn't going to give me a refund for the night I wasn't staying or doing anything to fix the issue from the night before. At this police police and my lawyer are going to have to get involved since clearly they do not care about the safety and well being of their guest. Nor, give refunds when they screw up. So I had to cut the trip short and watch my daughters cry because we we're now going to have to drive 6hrs home and not get to play in the sand. I paid 675 bucks for this nightmare! Not to mention the deposit! So livid right now!

Had only an overnight stay for an early appt at Shriner's the next morning. No complaints whatsoever. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a 2 double bed suite with fold out couch. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and checked with us to ask if our room was ok. The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of choices. I don't usually eat oatmeal but I could not pass up the oatmeal bar with all its toppings and fruits and nuts. There was 3 types of juices, eggs that were scrambled and boiled, jalapeño mini-quiches, sausage, cereals, various breads, milk, yogurt, waffles, fruit and coffee. I had read someone else complaining about the smallness of the pool. I think some people forget that Galveston is an island with very limited space. The island has had to be built up several times to remain above the tide. The city has weathered many storms, and things are not going to stay pristine in that harsh sun and salt-spray environment. Target is right across the highway via an underpass, so easy access. There is a view of the bay but again, it's not pristine. It's a port city, thus it looks like one. We will definitely stay again.

Quand nous sommes arrivés pour la première fois, j'étais un peu sceptique car l'extérieur de l'hôtel était un peu usé et la clôture qui l'entourait m'a donné l'impression d'être dans un endroit dangereux où ils doivent vous enfermer. Mais comme je suis allé à l'intérieur et autour du hôtel Je me suis installé et j'ai tout assimilé. Ce n'était pas si mal, la chambre était propre et mes enfants ont vraiment apprécié le balcon. L'employé de la réception qui nous a accueillis a fait des pieds et des mains pour s'assurer que nous nous sommes bien installés. J'ai aussi adoré la commodité d'avoir un Walmart littéralement à la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel et des fast-foods accessibles à pied. Pas besoin de voyager, ce qui est un plus pour moi. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié le séjour et j'y retournerais.

La chambre est bonne, regarde la mer, le cœur est très doux. La nuit est malade, il a rencontré une tempête, la ville entière a arrêté l'électricité. La chambre est entrée dans l'eau à minuit, descendez chercher la réception et ne rentre pas dans le bâtiment, pas dans le hall. Équipement du beau pays...
