It was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food. Personally I would not stay here again.

Pros: * convenient location: at a walking distance from the taxi stand, paid parking, pubs, restaurants, shops selling everything from souvenirs to Sikkim's famous temi tea, etc. * helpful staff: 4 diligent people who provided the kind of superb service I hardly see even in big swanky hotels. To list a few such moments, Raju at the front desk helped with creating the travel card mandatory in sikkim, the cook whipped up a cup of tea even though it was late at night and the kitchen had clearly closed, they installed a new set-top box when we informed then that the tv didn't work, and finally (on our last day there, as the cold rains made it difficult to go out for dinner, they cooked us piping-hot food that tasted like delicious dinner (rohu included) in a bengali home. Cons: * even though they have a sign at the top of the building that's clearly visible during the day, it will help to spot it at night if the sign was illuminated. Google adds to the confusion by navigating you to a dead-end behind the hotel. * it would help if at least one of the phone numbers they have provided worked all the time - none of the 3 were operational when i was trying to locate the hotel. Conclusion: the hotel is a short walk from the road, but that to me is a blessing in disguise as it's accessible by foot from the shopping district (both the staircase market off mg marg and lal bazaar) but it's not in the middle of all the touristy commotion. I admit that finding the building is a bit of a challenge but it's a small cost to pay for the wonderful view of thakurbari temple and the gangtok hillside (depends on the room though. The rooms are tidy with facilities like a working geyser, a clean toilet, a kettle, a hot jug of drinking water, etc. Most of all, i liked the people who ran the place - a special shout out to raju who called and checked if we managed to catch our flight as there were landslides en route the next day.

Amazing property, amazing staff, amazing owner ❤️ I asked and everything was arranged. Special thanks to Sandesh who was available all the time right from the morning to night irrespective of his shift. Never seen the owner who himself made me comfortable to the extent that he played karaoke and guitar to make the evening special and memorable one. Food is amazing and rooms were spacious with balcony ❤️ Overall good budget stay and five star service ✅

The Hotel is located at a distance from MG Marg to be more specific Upper Burtuk but the staves and especially the owner lady was amazing and was soo cooperative. Room service was to the point, scenic beauty is spellbound and clealiness is remarkable. I became sick there and they were so lenient they arranged for doctor. Thankyou Parasol Inn ❤️

An excellent stay in all aspects. Great food, Great maintenance, Kanchanjungha View (depending on cloud), great hospitality, and almost all amenities. The Bathroom was slight small but that will never be a dealbreaker. The cleanliness was top notch and the food is delicious. Close to M.G. Marg and Lal market on Jeewan Thang Marg Development Area, walkable distance to MG Marg but since it is on downhill will be a bit tiring to walk for 15-20 minutes. You can opt for a local taxi which will cost ₹200 but you can try to bargain. The Hotel allows unmarried couples and needs Voter Card / Passport for Gobt Identification. You can contact Hotel reception for sikkim sight seeing cabs as well.

There are 100s of hotels to choose from in the same location. Krishna heritage is an excellent property, which is well maintained by the hotel staff. There is a cook and care-taking staff living in the same hotel. Food tastes good with superb hygiene standards. Rooms are spacious and hot water available at all times.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by the nice and clean rooms with breathtaking mountain views. The breakfast provided was delicious and served with attention to detail. However, i found the dinner options to be only okayish, lacking the same level of excellence as the breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some room for improvement in the dinner experience.

I visited this place for the first time and found very good and prompt. Service is awesome, receptionist were friendly, room were kept clean and hygine maintained very well. Whenever I come to Gangtok, I will stay here only. Thank you team Regal for making our stay memorable.
